Congratulations on your purchase of the Expresso WR62. This manual was created
to quickly guide you through the many functions of your device, and to assist you with
the initial setup thereof. Please take a few minutes to read through the manual,
after which you may begin using your WR62 and enjoying its many features. Also,
please visit us on the web at www.golfesn.com to register your device and for
support help.
The WR62 comes with a premium clasp and resizable band. The band will need to
be custom fitted. It is recommended that you seek assistance from a local jeweler or
watch store in resizing the band. It is also advisable to resize the band slightly loose
to accommodate for minor wrist expansion.

Computer Requirements
iGolf Registration/Downloads
Within 180 days of first GPS signal acquisition in the Golf application, you will need to
register your WR62 watch at www.iGolf.com. This will update the preloaded GPS course
database and load any new courses that have recently been mapped.

If a unit that has not been registered is powered on 180 days or more after the first GPS
signal acquisition in the Golf application, the Golf application will not function, but will instead
display a prompt to register your device at iGolf.com. Registration is free, takes only a few
minutes, and will restore the Golf application to full functionality.
To register, go to http://www.iGolf.com, select the “Join Now” link, enter the requested
information, and select the “Join Now” button to continue. Create your iGolf.com prole, and
select the “Save” button. Follow the on-screen instructions to install the proper driver to your
computer and sync your WR62 to receive the most up-to-date GPS course data.
iGolf Registration/Downloads (continued)
Once your WR62 has been registered, you may update the GPS data for an existing course,
or download a new course to it at anytime. Make sure your WR62 is connected to your
computer and that you are logged into your account at iGolf.com. Follow the steps below to
download individual course data to your WR62:
1. Select ‘GPS Courses’ from the header menu, enter the name of a golf course in the search
bar, and select the ‘Search’ button.
2. Select the desired course from the results list to access the course download page.
3. Select ‘Download GPS & Scorecard’ to download the selected course files to your WR62.
• The WR62 is ready to use out of the box without
the requirement of any additional
software or hardware;
however, a computer and internet access are required in order
to register the device at iGolf.com and receive course updates. Compatible operating
systems include:
• PC (Windows 7, Windows Vista, Windows XP) **Windows is a registered trademark of
Microsoft Corporation in the United States and other countries.
• Mac (OS X, version 10.6 INTEL or newer) **Mac and Mac OS are trademarks of Apple Inc,
registered in the USA and other countries.
• In order to receive course updates from iGolf.com, please ensure that Java is
installed and up to date on your PC or Mac.
• When connected to your computer, if you see any unusual messages pop-up about the driver
or hardware, please register your WR62 at iGolf.com and follow the instructions on the screen.

Congratulations on your purchase of the Expresso WR62. This Quick Start Guide was created
to quickly guide you through the many functions of your device, and to assist you with the
initial setup thereof. Please take a few minutes to read through the Quick Start Guide, after
which you may begin using your WR62 and enjoying its many features. A full user manual is

If you normally do not wear a watch, ESN recommends practicing your swing at a driving range
while wearing the WR62 to grow accustomed to golfing while wearing a wristwatch.
The WR62 comes with a premium clasp and resizable band. The band will
need to be custom fitted. It is recommended that you seek professional
assisitance in resizing the band. It is also advisable to resize the band a
little bit on the loose side to accomodate for minor wrist expansion.

Charging Battery
To check remaining battery life, select “Battery” from Menu 1. The USB
cable is compatible with any type of USB port, including A/C chargers.

Care & Maintenance
The WR62 is durable and waterproof. In order to utilize the features, it is
advisable to use the watch in accordance with the following guidelines:
• Avoid exposing the watch to extreme conditions for a prolonged period
of time.
• Avoid severe impacts on the watch.
• You may clean the watch occasionally with a soft and damp cloth.
• Brush the clip contacts at the bottom of the watch regularly. Dirt build-up
on the surface of the contact points may affect normal charging and
data transfer. (*Note: Use a soft-bristled brush. Hard bristles or wire
brushes may leave scratches on the watch).
• DO NOT expose the watch to strong chemicals such as gasoline and
alcohol, as they will damage the watch.
• Store the watch in a dry place when it is not in use.

power the watch on and select the “Menu” button. Scroll through the

Play Golf Overview
After selecting “Play Golf” from menu 1, the WR62 will search for
satellite signal. Once signal has been acquired, the WR62 will display a
list of local courses. Scroll the list using the “Back” and “Front” buttons,
and select your course using the “Hazard/Select” button. When you
select your course, Hole 1 will display the main screen showing Front,
Center, and Back of the Green distances, as well as par information.

Golf Demo
The Golf Demo provides an overview of the functionality of
Play Golf mode without acquiring satellite signal. It will display
sample screens of the main Front, Center, Back (FCB) screen,
Shot Distance, Hazard Distances, Back of the Green, and Front
of the Green Screen. Bring up the Golf Menu and select “Exit
Game” to exit the Golf Demo.
*Note: “Change Hole” and “Yds/Mtrs” are non-functional in the
Golf Demo.

Odometer
The odometer is a GPS function. When odometer is selected, the WR62
will search for satellite signal. Once signal has been acquired, the
odometer allows you to track distance, speed, and total activity time.

Location
The location feature is a GPS function. When location is selected, the
WR62 will search for satellite signal. Once signal is acquired, the WR62
will display your GPS position in latitude/longitude coordinates.

GPS Status
GPS Status is a GPS function. When GPS Status is selected, the WR62
will search for satellite signal. Once signal has been acquired, the
GPS Status screen will show the strength of the signal.

Settings
From the settings menu, you can adjust the time, date, and Daylight
Savings settings (TimeDate option), disable the key tones (Sound
options), adjust the units of measurement between standard and
metric (Units option), and perform a system reset.

Time/Date
This option allows you to set the time and date, adjust daylight savings
settings, set the time zone, adjust the GPS update settings, and set the
preferred time format.
GPS Update: Setting this option
to “On” will update the time to
the time zone you have selected
when GPS Signal is acquired.
In order for the WR62 to update
the time based upon your GPS
position, set the time zone to “By
Longitude.” The time will then set
automatically when GPS signal
is acquired

Time/Date
The time will set automatically when you obtain a GPS signal. You can
do this quickly by stepping outdoors and selecting “Location” from
the Menu. By default, the WR62 is set to update time based upon
GPS position. These settings are as follows:
GPS Upd: On TimeZone: By Longitude DST (Daylight Savings Time): On
These settings can be adjusted from the Settings menu under the
“TimeDate” option. When GPS Upd is set to “On,” the watch will
always update the time when GPS signal is acquired, based upon the
“TimeZone” setting. If you do not want the time to update via GPS, set
GPS Upd to “Off,” and set the time manually.
Note: Daylight savings time varies from year to year. When daylight savings is in effect (Spring-
Fall), DST should be set to “On.” From Fall-Spring, DST should be set to “Off.”

Sound
This menu option allows you to disable key tones. When key tones
are set to the “On” position, the WR62 will emit beeping tones with
each button push. When key tones are set to the “Off” position, the
buktton pushes will be silent.

Troubleshooting & FAQs
For any issue that you may experience with the WR62, first try performing a software
reset by selecting “Sys Res” from the “Settings” menu. If you still have trouble after
the software reset, perform a hardware reset by pressing and holding the 4 “corner”
buttons (Front, Back, Shot, & Menu) simultaneously until the screen goes blank. The
device will automatically reboot. If this Troubleshooting & FAQs guide doesn’t resolve
your issue, please contact ESN support.
How do I power ON/OFF the WR62?
• Turning ON- Hold the “front” button until the WR62 powers ON.
• Turning OFF- From the main screen (Day and Time) hold the “front” button until the WR62
powers OFF.
Do I have to register my WR62?
• Yes, you are required to register the WR62 within 180 days of first use at www.iGolf.com.
We also encourage you to register the WR62 at www.golfesn.com/register.
How do I register my WR62?
• Using the provided cable, connect the provided adapter to your WR62 and the other end to the
USB port on your computer. The display will indicate “Charging/Connected”.
• Go to www.iGolf.com and select the “Join Now” link at the top of the page.
• Enter the requested information and select the “Join Now” button to continue.
• Enter the required prole information and select “Save.”
• Follow the on-screen instructions to install the proper driver to your computer and sync
your WR62 to receive the most up-to-date GPS course data.
Are there any fees for using the WR62?
• There are no fees for using the WR62 or downloading courses. You also receive a free
membership to iGolf.com when you register the WR62. This allows you access to their
worldwide database of GPS courses, a handicap tracker and many more great features.
Why can’t I sync with iGolf?
• Computer may not be recognizing the device. Make sure the device is connected to the
computer with the provided USB cable. Make sure the device is powered on. Make sure the
watch screen shows the “Connected” screen.
• Your web browser or internet settings may not be compatible with the iGolf website. Mozilla
Firefox is the recommended browser for use with www.iGolf.com. You can download Firefox
for free at www.mozilla.com
• Java may not be installed or may be out of date. You can check your version or download
Java at www.java.com. Occasionally, old versions of Java may remain installed on your
computer after updating. These older versions of Java may conflict with the most recent

version, so if you still cannot sync after installing Java, check for older versions by going
to your start menu, and then selecting “Control Panel.” Find the “Uninstall a Program” link.
Windows XP lists it as Add/Remove. From there, find Java on the list and remove any older
versions. Keep only the most recent version.
• For Mac users: The minimum version of Java required for syncing with iGolf is 1.6.0_10
(Java 6 Update 10). This version of Java is only supported by OS X 10.6 or newer Apple
develops their own version of Java, so it must be downloaded through them. For more
information regarding Java for Macs, visit http://support.apple.com
How do I adjust the watch band?
• For best results, it is recommended that you seek professional assistance to custom fit
the watch band.
How loose should I have the WR62 band sized?
• You want to make sure that the WR62 fits comfortably. It is recommended that you do not
size it too small because your wrist may expand slightly during golf or exercise. You also do
not want to size it too loose that it will affect your golf swing. Please note that you can always
resize smaller, but you cannot resize larger without a new band. If for some reason you nd that
your band has been resized too small, please contact ESN and we will ship you a replacement
band promptly.

Will the WR62 have any effect on my golf swing?
• The WR62 is designed to be comfortable and light; however, we advise wearing the watch
to a driving range to practice your swing in order to grow accustomed to golng with a watch
on your wrist.
If my golf course is not accurate what can I do?
• You will want to contact our GPS course provider to notify them of any discrepancies. You can
What courses are preloaded on the WR62?
• There are two versions of the WR62. The USA version is preloaded with courses from the
USA. This version is only sold in the US. The International version is preloaded with courses
from Canada, Australia, New Zealand, Sweden, the United Kingdom, Ireland, etc . Please note
that the WR62 is designed to accommodate course downloads for international travelers; i.e.
if you own the US version of the WR62 but you are traveling to Canada to play golf, you can
download the courses that you know you will be playing and use your WR62 on them.

How can I tell if my course is preloaded?
• You can search for your course and others here:
http://www.iGolf.com/course/advanced_search.html
Can I download new courses onto my WR62?
• Yes. There are no fees to download additional courses. The WR62 is designed to
accommodate up to 50 additional course downloads.
Can I download international courses?
• Yes, you can manually download courses directly from iGolf.com to your WR62. Detailed
instructions can be found in the user manual.
How long will the battery last on and off the course?
• You should expect about 12 hours of battery life on the course. If you are using the WR62
as an everyday (time only) watch you can get a full year on a single charge.
Can I replace the battery?
• No, you cannot replace the battery. If you experience issues with WR62 battery please
contact ESN support.

All EXPRESSO SATELLITE NAVIGATION, INC. SYSTEMS (GPS) are navigation aids, and are not intended to replace other methods
of navigation. The purchaser is advised to perform careful position charting and use good judgment. READ THE USER GUIDE
CAREFULLY BEFORE USING THE PRODUCT.
The WR62 Golf GPS Watch is warranted to be free from defects in materials or workmanship for two years from the date of purchase.
Within this period, EXPRESSO SATELLITE NAVIGATION, INC. will, at its sole option, repair or replace any components that fail in
normal use. Such repairs or replacement will be made at no charge to the customer for parts or labor, provided that the customer
shall be responsible for any transportation cost. This warranty does not apply to: (i) cosmetic damage, such as scratches, nicks,
and dents. (ii) consumable parts, such as batteries, unless product damage has occurred due to a defect in materials or workmanship.
(iii) damage caused by accident, abuse, misuse, water, flood, fire, or other acts of nature or external cause. (iv) damage caused by
service performed by anyone who is not an authorized service provider of EXPRESSO SATELLITE NAVIGATION, INC.; or (v) damage
to a product that has been modified or altered without the written permission of EXPRESSO SATELLITE NAVIGATION, INC. In addition,
EXPRESSO SATELLITE NAVIGATION, INC. reserves the right to refuse warranty claims against products or services that are obtained
and/or used in contravention of the laws of any country.
Note: Repairs have a 90 day warranty. If the unit sent in is still under its original warranty, then the new warranty is 90 days or to the end
of the original one year warranty, depending upon which is longer.
THE WARRANTIES AND REMEDIES CONTAINED HEREIN ARE EXCLUSIVE AND IN LIEU OF ALL OTHER WARRANTIES, WHETHER

Online Auction Purchases: Products purchased through online auctions or unauthorized third parties are not eligible for warranty coverage.
Online auction conrmations are not accepted for warranty verication. To obtain warranty service, an original or copy of the sales receipt from
the original authorized retailer is required. EXPRESSO SATELLITE NAVIGATION, INC. will not replace missing components from any package
purchased through an online auction or unauthorized third party.

Call or email an EXPRESSO SATELLITE NAVIGATION, INC. Technical Support Specialist to describe the problem and request a return
material authorization (RMA) number. You will need to provide the unit’s serial number (if applicable), your original receipt of purchase
from an authorized EXPRESSO SATELLITE NAVIGATION, INC. dealer, your return shipping address, and a daytime phone number.
Once you have received the RMA number, ship the unit (insured) to the following address and include the assigned RMA number
and proof of purchase:
