meter.Resetthedateandtimeeachtimethemeterpoweris
cycled.RemovetheadaptororswitchofftheACpowersource
toshutdownthemeter.
GETTINGSTARTED
AllLCDdisplaylineswillswitchONwhenpowerisappliedto
meter.TheLEDindicatorwillalsobeONsteadywithanorange
color.Thedisplaywillnowautozero.Autozerotakes
approximately60secondsandthenthemetercountsdown
from9to0.Themeterisnowinthenormaloperatingmode.
WhenattemptingtomanuallystorethecurrentCOreading,theLEDlightturnsgreenforone
secondandashortbeepertonewillsound.
TheLCDsshowthecurrentCOvalueinppm(top),ambienttemperature/relativehumidity
(middle),andthedateandtime(bottom).
TogglethetemperatureunitsbypressingandholdingtheC/F/%RH▲button.
SETTINGDATE/TIME
Innormaloperation,themeteralternatesthedateandtimedisplays.
PresstheSETbuttontoswitchbetweenthe12‐hoursystem(am/pm)
andthe24‐hoursystem.Notethatthedefaulttimedisplayisa24‐
hourclockformat.

PresstheMODE▼button,theLCDwillshowthemaximumreadingsincethemeterwasfirst
powered.Pressagaintoreturntothenormalmeasurementmode.
Toclearthemaximumreading:EntertheMaximummodeand,whenMAXIconappears,press
andholdtheSETbutton,“Clr”appearsforconfirmationofclearcommand.
COALARMSETTING
1. PressandholdtheSETbuttonfor3secondstoenterthesetupmode
2. PressSETagaintoskiptheDatesetting(settheDateifdesiredperearlierinstructions)
3. PressSETagaintoskiptheTimesetting(SettheTimeifdesiredperearlierinstructions)
4. Aflashingdigitwillappear.Usetheup▲anddown▼arrowstoincrease/decreasethe
alarmthreshold.PressSEL/RECALLtomovetothenext
digit.Thereare3digitplaceswithamaximumsettingof
999pm(30ppmisthedefault).
5. PressandholdSETfor3secondstosaveandreturnto
thenormalmeasurementmode.
Whilealarmistripped,theLEDwillflashredevenif“beeper
audiooff”isselected.Tosilencethebeeperwheninanalarm
condition,pressSETandMODEatthesametime.TheredLED
willcontinuetoflash,however,untiltheenvironmentalCO
levelnolongerexceedsthedefaultoruserselectedAlarm
level.Remembertoreactivatethebeeperforfutureuse.

AUDIBLEALARMBEEPER(ON/OFF)
Bydefault,thebeeperissetON,andtheLCDshowsthebelliconontheleftsideoftheLCD
screen.
ToswitchOFFtheaudiblealarmtemporarily:Fromthenormalmeasurementmode,pressthe
SET+MODE▼buttonatthesametime(thebellicondisappears).After4minutesthealarm
willturnonagainautomatically.TocomplywithULregulations(2013),thebeepervolumeis85
dBatadistanceof3meters(9.8feet).
TheAlarmbeeperwillsoundwhentheenvironmentalCOlevelexceedstheDefault(30ppm)or
userselectedlevel.

manuallystored(ashortbeepwillsoundeachtimeareadingisstoredalso).
Torecallstoredreadings,pressandholdtheSEL/RECALLButton,theLCDshowsthenumberof
therecordwithitsCOreading,toscrollotherstoredreadingsusethe▲and▼buttons.
Toclearstoreddata:
AccesstheRecallmodeandpressandholdtheSETbuttonuntil“Clr“appearsonLCD.TheLCD
automaticallyreturnstonormalmode.
Theillustrationbelowontheleftshowsamanuallyrecordedreading(readingnumber‘05’inthis
case);themiddleillustrationshowstherecalledreading;theillustrationontherightshows
readingscleared.
COCALIBRATION
Itisrecommendedthatthemeterbecalibratedmonthlyinacleanair
environment.
Fromthenormalmeasurementmode,pressandholdtheMODE▼
buttonforatleast6secondstoentercalibrationmode.
TheLCDshowsCALandanumberrepresentingthetimeremainingin
thecalibration(15seconds).Themeterreturnstothenormal
measurementmodeautomaticallywhencalibrationiscomplete.
