Site Layout and Setup Procedures
1. DO NOT set up when wind is over 15 mph and or if it is raining.
2. Select a level area that is a safe distance from water, walls and other obstructions. For outdoor use,
install ground stakes or use sand bags as per specification sheet provided on page 4.
3. Make certain that there are no overhead utility wires and ground obstacles such as protruding
sprinklers or underground pipes of any kind before and lay a protective tarp on the selected area.
4. Place the inflatable in the middle of the tarp and unroll the unit after removing the straps.
5. Connect either tube snugly (choose the one closest to the electricity source) to the blower using the
strap attached to the tube. Make sure that all intake openings of the blower are free from any
obstructions.
6. Approximately one foot from each tie down double-loop of the Eye Candy Inflatables unit, drive an
anchor to the ground at a 90 degree angle with the head pointing away from the Eye Candy Inflatables
unit. Secure the Eye Candy Inflatables unit at all times to the corresponding number of anchors. Use the
straps to attach the anchors to all the double-loops as provided in specific areas on the base of the Eye
Candy Inflatables unit. Large units with high profiles have additional tie down loops that are located at
higher points. Each of these additional locations should also be attached to the anchor at a 90 degree
angle. When the unit is on a hard surface (cement, wood floors, etc.), substitute a sand bag with
adequate weight for the anchor as indicated on page 4 on the Specification Sheet.
7. Plug the blower into the closest properly grounded (GFCI) 110v outlet only after you carefully read
the blower manufacturer's safety instructions. Turn the switch on and wait (approximately 2 minutes)
until the inflatable is fully inflated and the equipment and all parts have been examined for potentially
unsafe conditions before letting children in the inflatable.
8. Do a safety check of blowers, slide and climb covers and any removeable entry and exit(s).
9. This unit requires continuous air pressure. Do not turn the blower o while children are in the
inflatable. Tether your inflatable at the locations outlined in the specification sheet. The minimum
number of trained operator(s) required as indicated on page 4 in your manual on the Specification
Sheet must be present at all times during operation at the location specified in the same diagram.
The operator is responsible for:
Monitoring the inflation of the unit.
Screening and admitting patrons.
Making patrons aware of the rules prior to entering the inflatable.
Constantly monitoring patrons while they are interacting with the unit.
Cleaning and maintaining the unit while in operation.
Matching patrons as to size, age and ability.
Maintaining order and compliance with rules.
Children’s safety depends on the presence of an operator. Always have the inflatable unit supervised by
an operator who has reviewed and understands the safety rules and instructions indicated below:
Keep age and size of riders comparable. Extra caution is needed for children ages three and
under. Never allow older kids to bounce with children three and under.
No one should be permitted to ride the unit if they are over the weight or height indicated on the
specification sheet in this manual.
Individuals with head, neck, back or other muscular skeletal injuries or disabilities, pregnant
women, small infants and others who may be susceptible to injury from falls, bumps or bouncing
are not permitted on or in the inflatable at any time.
Number of riders should be limited to the number specified on the safety sign located on the
front of your unit.
Do not allow climbing on the unit or netting of equipment by anyone inside or outside of the
inflatable.
Do not allow anyone to jump or dive on the inflatable near the door of the unit.
No flips wrestling or extreme horseplay is allowed while inside the inflatable.
No Food, drinks, gum, candy, confetti or trash in or around the inflatable.
Do not allow any silly string in or around the inflatable, it will damage the unit.
No one is allowed on the inflatable while it is being inflated or deflated.
Unit must be anchored prior to and during operation.
Persons not following the safety rules should be removed from the inflatable.
If wind becomes excessive (15 mph or more), unload occupants and deflate the ride.
Check stakes regularly to ensure they are tight.
Inspect the inflatable before each use.
Absolutely No Running, No Horse Play, No Diving.
Remove all loose and dangling jewelry and/or clothing, bracelets, watches, eye glasses, earrings
and any sharp objects before entering the inflatable.
Remove shoes before entering the inflatable.
Do not slide head first.
Only one person per lane on obstacle courses and slides.
The landing area of a slide must be clear before the next person begins to slide down.
Do Not start sliding until the landing area is clear of all other riders.
Exit the slide immediately after stopping in the landing area.
Do not climb back up the slide from the sliding area.
Use only the designated steps to climb up the top platform.
Parents/ Guardians may not hold or accompany the child while sliding.
