HOW TO USE
Thank you for buying this megaphone. Please read through this instruction manual carefully
before using to ensure you are operating it properly and eectively.

2. PARTS AND FUNCTIONS
1. Speaker: Converts electrical signal into sound.
2. Signal Switch: Switches the megaphone between ‘Siren’ and ‘Talk’ functions.
3. Power Switch: Activates the megaphone when pressed.
4. Handle Grip: Used to hold the megaphone.
5. Top Cover: Secures/protects the battery compartment.
6. Microphone: A uni-directional dynamic cartridge that converts sound into electrical signals.
7. Volume Controller: Used to adjust the output volume.
8. Battery Compartment: Holds 8 AA batteries.
9. LED Power Indicator: This LED will light up when the megaphone is switched on.

3. OPERATING INSTRUCTIONS
• Install the batteries: Release the latch and open the top cover. Remove the battery compartment
and put in 8 AA batteries, respecting the correct polarities (+ and -). Close the top cover and
fasten the latch.
• Activate megaphone: Press the power switch and check that the red LED power indicator is lit.
• Talk Function: Press the power switch to activate the megaphone and ensure that the signal
switch is set to ‘Talk’. Adjust the volume to the desired level and speak into the microphone. Please
note: the closer the sound source is to the microphone, the better the amplication.
• Siren Function: Press the power switch to activate the megaphone and ensure thesignal switch is
set to ‘Siren’. The speaker will generate a continuous siren. The siren will stop as soon as the power
switch is released.
4. BASIC TROUBLESHOOTING
• If the volume is quiet/weak, the batteries may be out of power. Following step 1 to replace the
batteries.
• If the megaphone does not work, check that the batteries have been installed in the correct way,
respecting the polarities marked on the battery compartment.
• If this doesn’t resolve the issue, check that the batteries are properly contacting the terminals.

6. PRECAUTIONS
• Don’t expose to direct sunlight for a long period of time.
• Avoid exposure to rain, water or high humidity levels.
• Don’t use the megaphone close to people’s ears. This may cause hearing damage.
• If not in use for a long period of time, remove the batteries and store them separately to prevent
damage to the circuits in the megaphone.
