• Wear a personal flotation device every time when using a sup board
• Always check the condition of the board before paddling
• Do not go paddling in stormy weather or thunderstorms
• Check the water temperature - falling into cold water is a risk
• Wear sun protection and sunglasses
• Children or those without swimming skills should not use the board without
supervision
• Wear the safety leash

• For longer trips have a bottle of water, spare clothes and a mobile phone in a
waterproof bag with you

WARNING
Stand Up Paddling (SUP) is a water sport, and there are risks involved.

3 GENERAL INFORMATION
• Be careful with sharp objects near the board. Check that there are no sharp
rocks, etc. on the ground before inflating or deflating the board. Never drag the
board along the ground!
• Dog nails do not break the board, but they can leave marks on the EVA foot pad.
• If you want to anchor the board in place, you can take a bottle filled with sand as
an anchor.
• Tie it tightly to the board with a long and durable cord that reaches all the way to
the bottom.
• Within the maximum weight capacity, more people can travel on the board.
Additional paddles and safety leashes can be purchased separately..

4 INFLATING AND SETTING UP
NOTE!
Tighten the valve before inflating!
The valve works by pushing the button in the
middle. The valve must be closed when inflating:
the button in the middle is in the up position. By
pressing the button the valve can be changed
open/closed. When emptying the valve must be
open.
Button down = valve open,
button up = valve closed.
Insert the pump hose into the valve by pushing
it to the bottom and turning it clockwise. The
hose is disconnected by turning in the opposite
(counterclockwise) direction.
The valve must be tightened before the first inflation. If the valve is loose, air will leak
from the outer edges of the valve and the board will deflate. Tighten the valve with
the wrench tool included in the repair kit. Note that the board must be empty when
tightening. Insert the wrench into the slots around the valve, press all the way down
and tighten firmly clockwise.

ENEN
11
Inflate the board to desired pressure, but never exceed the maximum pressure! Lower
pressure, such as 6-10 PSI works well for relaxed paddling and sunbathing. Higher
pressure makes the board faster, steadier and more rigid. When you need higher
performance, we recommend inflating the board to the recommended pressure or
close to it. Inflating the board takes about 5-15 minutes. We recommend using your
whole body to avoid getting your hands tired. You can also use a compressor; the
valve adapters can be purchased separately.
AQUA 300
Recommended: : 10-15 PSI, maximum 15 PSI
AQUA Pro 330, AQUA Leaf and AQUA Zoom
Recommended: 15-18 PSI, maximum 20 PSI
AQUA Ruby
Recommended: 18-22 PSI, maximum 22 PSI
The FitNord pump is a Double Action Pump.
Initially, you can keep the plug closed allowing
the pump to push air into the board during
both the pulling and pushing phases. When the
pressure rises and the pumping
becomes heavier, open the plug which makes
the pumping easier (single action mode).
The pump hose can be attached to either side
of the pump - one side (inflate) fills, the other
side (deflate) empties..

ENEN
12
Push the fin in the slot provided. Once the fin is in
its place, secure it with the clip.
AQUA Ruby has US fin box, so you can use any
US-type fin.
Attach the safety leash to either the D-ring on
the back of the board or the carrying handle.
Be sure to attach the other end of the strap
to your ankle before going in the water.
Connect the three parts of the paddle and
adjust the paddle length.
When standing, the correct length is about the
same as the paddler height with her/his hand
raised..

ENEN
13
After use let the board dry, also wipe o dirt and debris to keep the board clean.
Remove the fin and the safety leash and open the valve by pushing it down firmly.
When the board has deflated enough on itself,
connect the pump hose on the other side of the
pump (deflate mode) and pump the remaining
air out. Start folding the board from the back
end, watch out for the fin box. When completely
folded, tighten the strap around the board to
prevent it from spreading open.
5 DEFLATING AND PACKING
NOTE!
NOTE!
Do not leave the wet board on the roll for a long
time. Information on storing the sup board can be
found by the following section
There will be a loud burst of air initially.

6 STORAGE
If possible, store the board indoors spread on a flat surface with the valve open. To
save space you can also roll it in its bag. If it is not possible to store the board inside
you can also store it outside in a warehouse, but it must be protected from the weat-
her conditions such as rain, snow, and sun exposure. Do not move or fold the board in
the cold, as frozen material is brittle. Make sure the board is completely dry and clean
before storing.
The board must not be stored in the sun, as UV radiation can damage the material.
Leaving it in the sun or in a hot place can also raise the pressure of the board, which
shortens the board’s lifespan, and may even break it.
The same instructions apply to short-term storage. However, if you plan to use the
board again the same or the next day, there is no need to deflate it; just do not leave it
in the sun.

If your board leaks, always tighten the valve first. A loose valve leaks air between the
outer edge of the valve and the surface material of the board. If tightening does not
help and you cannot find the exact leak spot, spread water-detergent solution all over
the seams. The leaking area will bubble where air escapes the board. Mark the area,
deflate the board and clean the area well. Perform repairing outdoors or in a well-ven-
tilated area. Cut a patch from the spare PVC material included in the repair kit so that
the patch extends at least 3 cm in all directions around the leak. You can
roughen the area around the leak a little with sandpaper if you like.
You can get the glue by contacting customer service, or when retrieving your board
from the store. If your board leaks, always tighten the valve first. A loose valve leaks air

Glue precautions
• The adhesive is highly flammable, do not handle the adhesive near fire or sparks.
Smoking is strictly forbidden.
• Gluing must be done in well-ventilated area. The glue fumes are harmful to health
and can cause nausea.
• Keep the adhesive out of the reach of children and pets.
• Protect your hands and be careful not to get glue in your eyes, mouth, or skin.
• In case of contact with eyes, rinse immediately with plenty of water and seek medical
advice.
• Before completely dry, the adhesive is very harmful to the environment.

8 PADDLING TECHNIQUE TIPS
Paddling is fun, eective and can be practiced on many dierent
levels. You can paddle longer trips, perform workout exercises, or
simply enjoy life on the board.
Start by sitting on your knees on the board near the carrying hand-
le. Rock the board around and feel the movement. You can paddle
sitting or on your knees if you are not ready to stand up yet. When
you feel ready, stand up. Keep your knees and body relaxed and do
not be afraid of falling into the water. While standing sti it is more
diicult to maintain the balance. It is good to keep your gaze on solid
objects like the beach and trees - this way your balance works better.
The length of the paddle should be adjusted to match your own
height with your hand raised.
Place the paddle the convex side facing forward. Take a wide grip
of the paddle and reach as far forward as you can towards the tip of
the board, press the blade all the way into the water and pull straight
back using the core muscles. Lift the paddle up at your feet. Keep the
paddle as vertical as possible in the lateral direction, otherwise the
board will turn to the side. The straighter you can hold the paddle, the
longer you can paddle from the same side without the board turning.
We hope you have a lot of fun with the FitNord SUP board and
spend memorable moments enjoying nature!
