FORM 143PL INSTRUCTIONS FOR MOUNTING POWER FEED
SYSTEM ON LT15DC SAWMILLS REV.D1.00
WARNING! Before performing any service to the sawmill control
box panel, turn the key to the “0” position.
To mount the power feed system (Part No. 500730) on LT15DC Rev. D1.00 sawmills with manual
feed system, manufactured from 1 October 2009 it is necessary to:
1. Remove the lower guard.

2. Remove the middle track cover with a felt strip.
3. Remove the rope as well as the front and rear rope mount brackets.

4. Remove the feed crank and the manual feed system bracket.
5. Remove the rope guide roller system.

6. Dismount the control box front panel. Mount the forward/backward joystick and the feed rate
potentiometer. Make electrical connections according to the electrical diagram located at the end
of these instructions.

7. Mount the power feed support plates with rubber bushings (2) to the pins located in the middle of
the bed extensions (1) and bolt the tensioners (3) to the end pins. Fasten the spring to the short
tensioner.
8. Mount the motoreducer with four bolts.

9. Prepare the cable by closing its ends up with steel caps.
10. Mount the cable. Install it on the pulley as shown below and secure with clamps (1). Tighten the
rope until the gap between the spring coils is .8-1.2 mm.

11. Mount the new middle track cover with a felt strip. Soak the felt strip with oil (WD-40).
12. Mount the motoreducer pulley front cover.

13. Mount the new lower guard.
14. Make electrical connections according to the electrical diagrams.
