Understanding Humidity
It’s true! Climate affects any guitar’s playability. Your Fretlig t guitar as been
pre-adjusted for standard umidity and temperature. We’ve made a slig t correction to
t e truss rod in order to ac ieve t is setting. T is s ould elp your guitar play easier

you may need to ave your guitar professionally set-up for your locale and environment.
If you feel t at you would lie to try to adjust t e neck yourself, follow t e instructions
below.
1. Sig t down t e side of t e neck from t e back of t e bridge to t e nut.
A very slig t upward curve in t e neck or a flat neck is desired for optimal
playability (depends on ow ard you pick and strum). More experienced
players opt for a flat neck.
2. If t e neck needs some adjustment, first loosen t e strings, t en insert t e
Allen wrenc into t e truss rod nut located at t e eadstock.
3. If t e neck is bowed upward too muc , turn t e truss rod clockwise a
quarter turn, tune up t e guitar and c eck t e neck again. If t e neck is
bowed downward, turn t e truss rod counter-clockwise a quarter turn,
tune up t e guitar and c eck t e neck again.
Note:
Note: Note:
Note: Your Fretlig t guitar as a two-way truss rod for bowing t e neck up
