SAFETY RULES
IMPORTANT: This cutting machine is capable of amputating hands and feet and
throwing objects. Failure to observe the following safety instructions could
result in serious injury or death.
I. Training
• Read the instructions carefully. Be familiar
with the controls and the proper use of the
equipment.
• Never allow children or people unfamiliar
with the instructions to use the lawnmower.
Local regulations may restrict the age of the
operator.
• Never mow while people, especially
children, or pets are nearby.
• Keep in mind that the operator or user is
responsible for accidents or hazards occurring
to other people or their property.
II. Preparation
• While mowing, always wear substantial
footwear and long trousers. Do not operate
the equipment when barefoot or wearing
open sandals.
• Thoroughly inspect the area where the
equipment is to be used and remove all
objects which may be thrown by the machine.
•WARNING - Petrol is highly flammable.
- Store fuel in containers specifically designed
for this purpose.
- Refuel outdoors only and do not smoke
while refueling.
- Add fuel before starting the engine. Never
remove the cap of the fuel tank or add petrol
while the engine is running.
- Add fuel only when the engine is cold
- If petrol is spilled, do not attempt to start the
engine but move the machine away from the
area of spillage and avoid creating any source
of ignition until petrol vapors have dissipated.
- Replace all fuel tanks and container caps
securely.
• Replace faulty silencers.
• Before using, always visually inspect to see
that the blades, blade bolts and cutter
assembly are not worn or damaged. Replace
worn or damaged blades and bolts in sets to
preserve balance.
III. Operation
• Do not operate the engine in a confined
space where dangerous carbon monoxide
fumes can collect.
• Mow only in daylight or in good artificial
light.
• Avoid operating the equipment in wet grass,
where feasible.
• Always be sure of your footing on slopes.

IV. Maintenance and storage
• Keep all nuts, bolts and screws tight to be
sure the equipment is in safe working
condition.
• Never store the equipment with petrol in
the tank inside a building where fumes may
reach an open flame or spark.
• Allow the engine to cool before storing in
any enclosure.
• To reduce the fire hazard, keep the engine,
silencer, battery compartment and petrol
storage area free of grass, leaves, or excessive
grease.
• Check the grass catcher frequently for wear
or deterioration. • Replace worn
or damaged parts for safety.
• If the fuel tank has to be drained, this should
be done outdoors

GENERAL INFORMATION
1.Installing and removing a battery
• Switch off the engine and all power consumers
• This battery may only be used on the place provided by the manufacturer.
• Avoid short circuits by tools.
• Remove the foreign body from the surface of the battery and firmly clamp the
battery after inserting it.
• Before installation: Clean the poles and terminals and grease them.
• When installing: clamp the positive pole and ensure that the pole terminals are
firmly seated.
2.Storage and transport
In unfilled condition, the batteries should be stored cool and dry. Batteries are to be
subjected to a full charge (see Charge the battery) before storage (for example
during the winter break). New battery has about 80% charge capacity.
3.Maintenance
Sealed batteries require no maintenance in the form of water refill, so do not open
the batteries again. Keep the terminal poles and the battery surface clean (damp
cloth, antistatic). Tighten the clamps and grease them lightly. Check the charge level
of the battery by voltage control and recharge if necessary (see 4.Charge the
battery).
4. Charge the battery
Important! For sealed batteries such as yours, the charge is carried out using the
supplied battery charger as shown in Following pictures. Table 1 in the case of a non-
original charger requires monitoring of the charging voltage as well as a manual
override. Observe the instructions of the charger manufacturer!
IMPORTANT:
• If the characteristic of a charger manufacturer is not known, check voltage
monitoring with one voltmeter and perform manual switch-off at 14.4V.
• The rated current of the charger should be 1/10 of the nominal capacity in
amperes.
• When charging, first connect the battery to the charger, then switch on the
charger.
