General information
Reading and storing the user manual
This user manual accompanies these iron decorative flower steps,
round (hereafter referred to as the flower steps) and contain
important information on setup and handling.
Before using the flower steps read the user manual carefully. This
particularly applies to the safety notes. Failure to do so may result in personal
injury or damage to the flower steps. The flower steps is not a toy or a climbing
frame for children.
Store the user manual for further use. Make sure to include this user manual
when passing the flower steps on to third parties.
Explanation of symbols
The following symbols and signal words are used in this user manual, on the
flower steps or on the packaging.
WARNING! This signal symbol/word designates a hazard
with moderate risk, which may result in death
or severe injury if not avoided.

Proper use
The flower steps are exclusively designed for use in an outdoor garden or
patio. It is only intended for private use and not suitable for commercial
purposes. The per-shelf maximum load-bearing capacity of the flower steps is
approximately 55.12 lbs (25 kg).
Only use the flower steps as described in this user manual. Any other use is
considered improper and may result in damage to property or may cause
personal injury. The flower steps are not a toy or a climbing frame for children.
The manufacturer or vendor cannot be held liable for damages incurred
through improper or incorrect use.
Safety notes
WARNING!
Danger for children and persons with impaired physical,
sensory or mental capacities (e.g. partially disabled
persons, older persons with reduced physical and mental
capacities) or lack of experience and knowledge (e.g.
older children).
− These flower steps must not be assembled by children or
by persons with impaired sensory or mental capacities
or persons who do not possess adequate experience or
knowledge.
− Keep children, infants and pets away from the assembled
flower steps as they may try to pull themselves up on
them, or climb onto them. The flower steps are not a toy or
a climbing frame for children.
− Cleaning and user maintenance may not be performed by
children.
− Make sure that children do not play with the packaging,
plastic bags and protective films. Children may get caught
in these items when playing and suffocate.

The flower steps’ assembly uses small parts (e.g., screws, nuts
and stoppers), whichcould causea chokinghazardif swallowed.
− Keep children, persons with impaired capacities and lack
of experience or knowledge, and pets away from the
flower steps during assembly.
CAUTION!
Risk of injury and damage!
Improper handling of the flower steps or any object on the flower
steps may result in personal injury or property damage.
− Do not exceed each individual shelf’s maximum load-
bearing capacity of 55.12 lbs (25 kg).
− Always place the heaviest flower pots or garden
ornaments or other garden objects on the lowest shelf.
− Never stack filled flower pots or garden ornaments or
other garden objects on the flower steps where they could
fall from a height.
− Regularly inspect the flower steps for loose screws and
nuts, warping, cracked welds, deformation, and other
signs of damage, weathering, and wear and tear. If in
doubt, do not use the flower steps and remove the flower
steps from service immediately. Contact the manufacturer
at the service address indicated on the warranty card.

Checking the flower steps and package contents
CAUTION!
Risk of injury!
If you are not careful when removing the flower steps from their
packaging, you may cause personal injury.
− The flower steps are made of metal, thus are heavy and
may cause a hazard or personal injury. Do not tip the open
packaging box upside down.
NOTICE!
Risk of damage!
If you are not cautious when opening the packaging with a
knife or another sharp or pointed object, you may accidentally
damage the flower steps.
− For this reason, be very careful when opening the
packaging.
1. Take the flower steps out of the packaging and check that all components
and accessories have been received (see Fig. A).
2. Check whether the individual parts exhibit damage, deformation, or other
visible defects. If this is the case, do not use the flower steps and remove
them from service immediately. Contact the manufacturer via the service
address indicated on the warranty card.
Basic cleaning
− Remove the packaging material and all protective packing materials.
− Clean all parts of the flower steps before first use as described in the
chapter, “Cleaning”.

Improper handling of the flower steps’ components may result
in personal injury.
− Always wear the appropriate protective equipment during
assembly (e.g., steel-toed gardening boots, gardening or
work gloves, protective eyewear, etc.).
− Keep children and pets away from the work area and
away from the flower steps’ components. The flower steps
contain small parts that may cause a choking hazard.
− Do not let children play with the flower steps’ components.
These components are not toys for children.
− Find a flat, level area near the location where you want to place the flower
steps. Ensure the flower steps’ components are handy.
Before tightening any screw, assemble all the parts first so that
you can adjust their positions as necessary.
Assembling the frames
1. Layout the hook frame with connection spikes 1, one long L frame 10
and two M6 × 25 mm screw 13 .
2. Loosely secure the long L frame to the hook frame with connection spikes
by manually inserting and securing the M6 × 25 mm screws (see Fig. B).
Repeat for the hook frame with connection hinges 2and the remaining
long L frame.
3. Take one short L frame 9and match it up to the front of the hook frame
with connection spikes. Make sure the holes in the short L frame face
upwards.
4. Loosely secure the short L frame to the hook frame and long L frame by
manually inserting and securing two M6 × 25 mm screws (see Fig. B).
Repeat for the hook frame with connection hinges and the remaining
short L frame.

5. Take the two sets of assembled frames and slot the connection spikes 18
of the hook frame with connection spikes into the connection hinges 19 of
the hook frame with connection hinges (see Fig. C).
You may need to push down harder than initially expected.
6. Next, assemble the shelves (see chapter, “Assembling the shelves”).
Assembling the shelves
1. Layout the top shelf 3and the top shelf ornamental fringe 6. Align the
screw holes.
2. Loosely fasten the top shelf ornamental fringe to the top shelf with two M6 ×
12 mm screws 12 (see Fig. D).
3. Layout the middle shelf 4and the middle ornamental fringe 7. Align
the screw holes.
4. Loosely fasten the middle ornamental fringe to the middle shelf with three
M6 × 12 mm screws (see Fig. E).
5. Layout the bottom shelf 5, the stabilising T-bar 11 , and the two bottom
shelf ornamental fringes 8. Align the screw holes.
6. Loosely fasten the bottom shelf ornamental fringes to the bottom shelf with
four M6 × 12 mm screws.
7. Next loosely fasten the stabilising T-bar to the bottom shelf with two
M6 × 12 mm screws (see Fig. F).
8. Check the position of all the ornamental fringes on the shelves. If the
positions are satisfactory, tighten all the M6 × 12 mm screws with either the
open-ended wrench 16 or the ring wrench 17 .
The shelves are now assembled.
9. Next, combine the frames and shelves (see chapter, “Combining the frames
and the shelves”).
Combining the frames and the shelves
1. Make sure the assembled top shelf 3and top shelf ornamental fringe 6
are upside down.
2. Turn the assembled frames upside down and place the topmost part of the
hook frame with connection spikes 1and the hook frame with
connection hinges 2on the assembled top shelf.
Make sure the holes in the hook frames align with the holes on the shelf.
3. Loosely secure the top shelf to the hook frames by manually inserting and
securing M6 × 25 mm screws 13 (see Fig. G).
Repeat for the remaining shelves.
4. Carefully turn the loosely assembled flower steps upright. If the positions
are satisfactory, tighten all the screws with either the open-ended
wrench 16 or the ring wrench 17 .

5. Carefully move the flower steps to the desired location. Re-check that the
M6 × 12 mm screws 12 and the M6 × 25 mm screws 13 are still securely
tightened.
The flower steps are now ready for use (see Fig. H).
Combining sets of flower steps
You can combine several sets of flower steps to form a series of flower steps.
1. Position the sets of flower steps next to each other. Locate the plastic
stoppers 20 in the hook frames (either the hook frame(s) with connection
spikes 1or the hook frame(s) with connection hinges 2) and the
short L frames 9that are next to each other in the individual sets of flower
steps (see Fig. I).
2. Remove the plastic stoppers. You may need to use a flat-headed screw-
driver (not included).
3. Align the holes in both sets of flower steps. Manually insert M6 × 38 mm
screws 14 into the aligned holes. Secure the M6 × 38 mm screws with the
M6 nuts 15 (see Fig. J).
Note that there will be two M6 × 38 mm screws and two M6 nuts if you have
two sets of flower steps.
4. Check that the position of the flower steps is satisfactory. Tighten the
M6 × 38 mm screws and the M6 nuts with the open-ended wrench 16 or
the ring wrench 17 .
Combining round and straight flower steps
You can combine round flower steps and straight flower steps to create a large
semi-circular set of flower steps, or a large rounded-corner square set of flower
steps or an oval set of flower steps.
− Follow the steps in the chapter, “Combining sets of flower steps” to create
your desired flower steps shape.

NOTICE!
Risk due to improper handling!
Improper handling of the flower steps may result in damage.
− Do not use any aggressive cleaners, brushes with metal or
nylon bristles, sharp or metallic cleaning utensils such as
knives, hard scrapers and the like. They could damage the
surfaces.
1. Remove all flower pots, ornaments and objects from the flower steps.
2. Use a mild soapy solution on a damp sponge to wipe down all parts of the
flower steps.
3. Wait for all parts to dry completely before replacing flower pots, ornaments
and objects.
Storage
− If you will not be using the flower steps for a prolonged time (e.g., one
month or more), store the flower steps in a cool, dry place. Avoid dust,
water, extreme temperatures, high humidity and direct sunlight.
− Make sure the flower steps are stored in a such a way that it does not pose a
hazard and that there is no danger of it falling from a height.
− Do not stack objects that exceed 55.12 lbs (25 kg) on each shelf.
− Keep the flower steps and its components out of reach of children.

Sort the packaging before you dispose of it. Dispose of paperboard and
cardboard with the recycled paper service and wrappings with appropriate
collection service.

federal state or country.
