ThankyouforpurchasingthisDIYGuitarKit.Thefollowing instructionsspecifyhow
toassembleyourguitar.Thereareavarietyoffinishesthatcanbeappliedtothe
guitar,anditisuptoyoutochoosethestylethatbestsuitsyou.Informationonhow
toapplythefinishesarereadilyavailableontheinternet.Werecommendalittle
researchtofind your favouredfinishing method.
Allofourheadstocksareprovided‘uncut’. Thisgivesyoutheopportunitytobe
creative and design your own, or copy one of the popular styles. For this, we
recommendmarkingtheshapeoutwithapencil,cuttingthedesignwithaCoping
SaworJigsaw,andthenfinishingoffwithsandpaper.Wehavenotsuppliedfull
instructionsforthis,astheprocesswilldependonyourindividualdesign.Again,an
internetsearchenginesearchwillprovidefarmorerelevantinstructionsthanwe
would beable to provide.
Theguitarwillneedtobefully‘set-up’afterconstruction.Thisistheprocesstomake
the guitar fully playable. Numerous video guides can be found online, and we
recommendsearching onpopularvideostreamingsites.Alternatively,theguitarcan
beprofessionallysetupbyyour localprofessional Luthier.
Before you start you will need to make sure you have the following tools to hand:

CrossHeadScrewdriver–Medium Head
CrossHeadScrewdriver–SmallHead
BatteryPoweredScrewdriver(notessentialbut advised)
Tape Measure orRuler

Step 1
AttachtheJackPlate(4)tothewiresonthefrontofthebody(1)usingthesolder
provided(15).Thewhitewireshouldconnecttothetoparmofthejackinput,and
theredwiretothebottomarm.TheJackPlate(4)shouldthenbeplacedtomatch
thepilotholeson thefrontofthe body usingtwo ofthe6mmscrews.
Step 2
Turntheguitarbody(1)overandsoldertheorangeearthwiretotheSpringAnchor
Plate(6)usingtheremainingsolder(15).Thewireshouldfeedthroughtheholein
themiddleoftheAnchor.TheSpringAnchorPlateshouldthenbescrewedintothe
pilotholesinthebodyusingthe2x35mm screws.Thescrewsshould bescrewedin
approximatelyto the end of thethread.

Step 3
Turn the guitar over and connect the Spring Anchor Plate (6)to the Bridge (5)using
thethreeSprings(7).TheBackplate(8)shouldthenbelinedupwiththepilotholes
andattachedusing theremaining 6 x6mm screws.
Turn the guitar over and attach the Bridge (5) to the Body (1) using the 6 x 28mm

Step 4
Insertthemachineheads(3)intotheholesintheHeadstock(2).Placethewasher
(12)ontop,andthenscrewintheFerrules(11).Theneckshouldthenbeturned
overandsixofthe7mmscrewsshouldbescrewedintothepilotholessecuringthe
machine heads inplace.
Step 5
PuttheBody(1)andNeck(2)together.PlacetheNeckPlate(10)withtherubber
PadonthebackoftheBody(1)inlinewiththepilotholes,andattachwiththe4x
45mm screw.

Step 6
AttachtheStrapButtons(14)withtheirrubberwasherstothepilotholesonthe
baseandarm ofthe body(1)usingthe 2x25mm screws.
Step 7
Stringtheguitar andthenattachtheStringTrees (13)tothe Headstock (2)usingthe
7mmand8mmscrewsandthesmallspacers.The8mmscrewandlargerspacer
shouldbeplacedbetweentheDandGstrings,andthesmallerspacerand7mm
between the Band E strings.
