In-ceiling mount G-Cam/EBFC-005 (5.04736)
Mini rugged dome IP camera can be mounted
with the optional accessory In-ceiling mount.
The items and tools needed for in-ceiling
installation are listed as follows.
In-ceiling mount package content:
 In-ceiling mount (U-shaped bracket + T-bar bracket)
 Ceiling sticker
 M3 x 6 mm mechanical screw x2
 Trim ring
Items needed:
 Mini rugged dome IP camera
 Ethernet cable
 Power cable (necessary if PoE is not available)
 Alarm cable (optional)
 Audio cable (optional)
Tools needed:
 Tools for cutting
 (+,–) Screwdriver
 Security Torx (supplied)

Follow the steps below to install In-ceiling mount.
Step 1:
Loosen the two security screws indicated in
the right figure with the supplied security torx
and open the dome cover.
Step 2:
The dome cover is attached to the camera
housing with an anti-drop cable. Loosen the
screw indicated in the right figure to detach
the dome cover from the camera housing if
necessary.
Step 3:
Choose a suitable conduit entry on the
camera for cable connection (side conduit
entry or back conduit entry). If users are
using the back conduit entry for cable
connection, please use a coin to open the
conduit entry block (shown in the right
figure) and place it to the side conduit entry.
You also can use the attached cable gland,
as shown here, or an armoured conduit with
¾” diameter.

Step 4:
Align the two marked screw holes on the
camera to the U-shaped bracket.
Step 5:
Fasten the two supplied M3 x 6 mm
mechanical screws at the position shown
in the right figure to fix the camera to the
U-shaped bracket.

Step 6:
Place the ceiling sticker on the ceiling
board, and cut the circle part out of the
ceiling.
Step 7:
Put up the T-bar bracket into the ceiling
opening and fix it on the ceiling board by
tightening the two screws indicated in the
figure clockwise.
Step 8:
When tightening the screws, the wings will
get approached to the ceiling board.
Please make sure it is completely flush
with the ceiling board.
Step 9:
Align the U-shaped bracket attached to
the camera to the T-bar bracket on the
ceiling board.

Step 10:
Put the camera into the ceiling opening,
and fix the U-shaped bracket on the T-bar
bracket by tightening the two screws
shown in the figure.
Step 11:
Put the Ethernet cable through the chosen conduit entry hole, and connect it to
the camera.

Step 12:
For the power and the alarm & audio I/O
connectors, please refer to the User’s
manual for further details.

Step 13:
Adjust the pan / tilt / spin holders of the
camera to point the lens at a suitable
position for the desired camera view.
NOTE: Pan adjustment angle is nearly 360°, tilt angle is adjustable
between 0° ~ 80°, and spin adjustment angle is between -100° ~ 100°.
NOTE: Users can see the camera
view by accessing the camera
Browser-viewer (refer to the User’s
manual for further details). Users
can also check the camera view via
connecting a BNC monitor. Refer
to right figure for the (optional)
BNC connector.
Step 14:
Fasten the tilt screw as the right figure to fix
the tilt angle of the camera.
Step 15:
Attach the dome cover to the camera
housing by fastening the anti-drop cable
to the housing at the screw hole shown in
the right figure. And then, tighten the two
security screws indicated in the figure
below with the supplied security torx to fix
the dome cover.

Step 16:
Fix the Trim Ring to the T-bar Bracket to
finish the installation.
NOTE: There are two magnets on
the back of the Trim Ring.
To attach the Trim Ring, just place
it gently on the In-ceiling mount and
adjust the position, like shown in
this figure. Do not place the
magnets on top of the screws.
