for5seconds

usingtransmitter’sOPEN&CLOSEkeys,andconfirmTOPlimitpositionbypressingSTOPkey
3. ThensettheBOTTOMlimit,alsobyusingtransmitter’sOPEN&CLOSEkeys,andconfirm

OurgoodscomewithguaranteesthatcannotbeexcludedundertheAustralianConsumerLaw.Youareentitledtoareplacementorrefundfora
majorfailureandforcompensationforanyotherreasonablyforeseeablelossordamage.Youarealsoentitledtohavethegoodsrepairedor
replacedifthegoodsfailtobeofacceptablequalityandthefailuredoesnotamounttoamajorfailure.
Inaddition,weofferourGliderolWarrantyassetoutbelow.ThebenefitsgiventoyoubyourGliderolWarrantyareinadditiontootherrightsand
remediesyoumayhaveundertheAustralianConsumerLaw.OurGliderolWarrantydoesnotexclude,restrictormodifyanysuchstatutoryrightsor
remedieswhichcannotbeexcluded.
ForproductssoldandinstalledbyGliderol,theGliderolWarrantyextendstocoverdefectsofmanufactureandcostsofdeliveryand/orre‐
installationofanyproductrepairedorreplacedunderthetermsoftheGliderolWarranty.Inallothercircumstances,wheretheproductsare
suppliedbyathirdparty,theGliderolWarrantycoversdefectsofmanufactureonlyanddoesnotincludecostsofreinstallationordelivery.
Thisisnotintendedtoexclude,restrictormodifyanyrightorremedytowhichyoumayotherwisebeentitledinrespectofdeliveryorre‐
installationundertheAustralianConsumerLaw.

WarrantyConditions
1.Subjecttothefollowingspecificlimitationsandexceptions,andinadditiontoallrightsandremediestowhichyoumaybeentitledunderthe
AustralianConsumerLaw,Gliderolwarrantsallnewdoors,motorsandelectroniccomponentsofGliderol'smanufacture,soldandinstalledby
Gliderol,tobefreefromdefectinworkmanshipundernormaluseandservicefortheApplicableWarrantyPeriodprescribedabove.
2.DuringtheApplicableWarrantyPeriod,Gliderolwillmakegoodanydefectasdescribedinclause1abovebyrepairingorreplacingtheaffected
productorpart(atitsoption)PROVIDEDTHATnoticeofanyclaimeddefectinmaterialsorworkmanshipinorresultingfrominstallationofanydoor
shallhavebeengiventoGliderolwithintheperiodfromdateofinstallationasprescribedabove.
3.ForproductssoldthroughorinstalledbyanauthorisedGliderolDistributororotherparty(otherthananaccreditedInstallerContractor
nominatedbyGliderol),ourGliderolWarrantycoversonlydefectsofmanufactureanddoesnotinclude:‐
•Anydefectscausedbyorrelatedtotheinstallationofthatproduct,nor
•Thecostofdeliveringorre‐installingaproductthatisrepairedorreplaced.
Thislimitationdoesnotexclude,restrictormodifyanyrightorremedytowhichyoumayotherwisebeentitledinrespectofdeliveryorre‐
installationundertheAustralianConsumerLaworotherapplicablelaws,whichmaynotbeexcluded.
4.OurGliderolWarrantydoesnotapplytoanydefect,lossordamagearisingorcauseddirectlyorindirectlybyorasaresultof:‐
(i)Anymasonryrenderedorothersurfacescrackingorcollapsingduringinstallationofthedoor
(ii)Anydefectordeteriorationoftimberincludingdryingoutafterinstallation
(iii)Anyweakeningorcollapseofthestructuretowhichthedoorsareaffixedoccurringanytimeafterinstallation
(iv)Anydamagetoordeteriorationintheconditionofthedoorsoccurringintransitbycustomernominatedorappointedcarrieroroccurringafter
deliveryandpriortoinstallation
(v)Anydefect(includingdefectsincomponentpartsoraccessories)risingfromorattributabletothefailuretocarryoutnormalpreventive
maintenanceoradjustment
(vi)Toanyadditionaldefectdamageordeteriorationarisingfromorattributabletotheoperationofthedoorafteritisknowntobedefective
(vii)Anydoorbeinginstalledwithin800metresoftheseaorotherbodyofwaterofequivalentorgreatersaltconcentrationorinanareasubject
toindustrialfallout
(viii)Anyfaultorsurgeincustomer’selectricitysupply
(ix)Thedoorstrikinganimmovableobjectduringtravel

5.ItemsexcludedfromourGliderolWarrantyare:

(ii)Fuses

(iv)Sensitivityadjustments
6.WaterdamagevoidstheGliderolWarrantyonallelectroniccomponents.
7.WhileGlideroldoorsarelonglastingandhardwearingundernormalconditionsourGliderolWarrantydoesnotextendtoinherentdefectsin
steelorothermaterialusedinthemanufacture.Gliderolwillhowever,wherepossible,procureandassigntothecustomerthebenefitofthe
warrantyofthemanufacturerofthesteelorothermaterial.
8.IfGliderolhasatrequestofacustomerprocuredpainting,powdercoatingorothersurfaceapplicationtoitsproduct,theGliderolWarrantydoes
notextendtosuchpainting,powder‐coatingorothersurfaceapplication.Forthispurpose,Gliderolatalltimesactsasagentofcustomer.Gliderol
may,asaservicetothecustomerbutwithoutanylegalobligationtodoso,assistcustomertoobtainredressinrespectofanydefect.
9.ExceptasisprovidedbytheGliderolWarrantyandsubjecttoanyrightsorremediestowhichyoumaybeentitledundertheAustralianConsumer
Laworotherapplicablelawwhichmaynotbeexcluded,,thisGliderolWarrantysupersedesandexcludesallrepresentations,warrantiesand
conditionswhetherexpressedorimpliedbylawandGliderolshallhavenoliabilityorotherwisethanhereinprovidedforanylossanddamage
(includingconsequentiallossanddamage,lossofuseorprofits)byreasonofdelay,defectiveorfaultymaterialsorworkmanship,negligenceorany
act,matterorthingdonepermittedoromittedtobedonebyGliderol.
10.GliderolreservestherighttotouchuponsiteColorbondandorpre‐paintedsurfacesonitsrangeofgaragedoorsbut,noresponsibilitywillbe
takenforthepossibilityofanypaintrubsorscuffingontheinternalwashcoatfinishorexternalpaintedsurface.
11.TomakeaclaimunderourGliderolWarranty:
(a)ifyoupurchasedyourproductdirectlyfromGliderol,youmustsendyourclaimtooneoftheaddresseslistedattheendofthiswarranty;or
(b)ifyoupurchasedyourproductfromanauthorisedGliderolDistributororothernon‐Gliderolentity,youmustmakeyourclaimthroughthat
authorisedDistributororothernon‐Gliderolentity.
ProofofpurchaseMUSTbeprovidedatthetimeoftheGliderolWarrantyclaim.
AnycostincurredbyyouinmakingaclaimunderourGliderolWarrantywillbebornebyyou.

CONDITIONSOFSALEANDINSTALLATIONDIRECTLYFROMGLIDEROL
1.ThefollowingconditionsofsaleandinstallationapplyonlytoproductssolddirectlybyGliderol.Theseconditionsdonotapplytothesaleof
productsbyauthorisedGliderolDistributorsorothernon‐Gliderolentities.
2.THISISAQUOTATIONONLY–recommendingtypeandsizeofdoorssuitableforthejob.Confirmationasanordershouldbegivenbycustomerto
Gliderol’sRepresentativeortoGliderol’sOffice,“inwriting”whereuponthisquotationshallbecomeaContractforSaleandwhereapplicablealsoa
contractforInstallation.
3.Thedetailsgiveninthequotationaresubjecttoanyalterationorpreparationtobecarriedoutbycustomerasspeciedonfrontofthisquotation.
4.Whereopeningsarenotcompleteoractualaccuratemeasurementscannotbetakenonsite,theGliderolDoorssizesandcostsgiveninthis
quotationareestimatedonlyandwouldbesubjecttorevisionwhenaccuratemeasurementscanbetakenoncompletionoftheopening.
5.ManufactureofGliderolDoorswillnotcommenceuntilaccuratesitemeasurementsareavailableandcanbechecked.
6.WhereGliderolDoorsaremadetosuitfloorlevels,lintelheightsoropeningsizesguaranteedbythecustomer,anydeparturefromthegiven
sizeswillbetheresponsibilityofthecustomeraswillanycostsinvolvedinalterationofmade‐upGliderolDoors.
7.Anydelivery,and/orinstallationdatesgivenareapproximateonlyandGliderolacceptsnoliabilityfordelayfromanycausewhatsoever.Ifbyany
reasonorActofGod,war,governmentorsemi‐governmentenactment,regulationorrestriction,lock‐out,strike,industrialdispute,fire,tempest,
flood,failureorinabilitytoobtainlicenses,transportormaterialsoranyothercausebeyondGliderol’scontrolofdeliveryorinstallationisdelayed
GliderolmayextendthetimeofdeliveryorinstallationorifGliderolisunabletodeliverorinstall,thecontractshallbevoidableatGliderol’soption
withnorighttoeitherpartyfordamage,loss,costorexpense.
8.Iftheseconditionsofsale(whichshallonlybevaried,modifiedorrescindedbywrittenagreementexecutedbyGliderol)shalldifferinany
respectfromthecustomer’sacceptanceorconfirmationthentheseconditionsshallprevail.
9.Thisquotationisopenforacceptanceforaperiodof60daysfromthedateofquotation.AcceptancethereafterwillbeattheoptionofGliderol
andsubjecttoitswrittenagreement.
10.PRICEVARIATION:ThepricesquotedarebasedoncurrentlistpricesforGliderolDoorsandMaterialandLabouratdateofquotation.Any
variationinthesepricesbeforecompletionoftheContractwouldbetocustomer’saccount.
11.TERMSOFPAYMENT:(i)UnlessspecficallyvariedinwritingbyGliderolthetermsofpaymentareinfullondelivery(ii)Ifcreditisextendedthe
termsofpaymentareNett7days.(iii)Defaultinpaymentinaccordancewithinvoicedtermsforpaymentwillresultinthecustomerbecoming
liabletopayallGliderol'srecoverycostsandinterestfixedat5%ofinvoicevalue.(iv)Thecustomeracknowledgesthatallrighttitleandinterestin
thegoodsparticularisedhereonshallremainthepropertyofthevendorManufactureruntilsuchtimeaspaymentinfullhasbeenmade.Atany
timeafterdeliveryandpriortopaymentthevendor,Gliderolshallhavetherighttoenterintoanduponanypremiseuponwhichthegoodsmaybe
storedorinstalledandremovesamewithoutitsincurringanyliabilityinrelationtheretoandthecustomerherebyappointsthevendor
Manufacturerhisorherservantagentandattorneyforthesuchpurposes.(v)Depositisnon‐refundableifthejobiscancelledbythe
customer/customers’agentifthedoorhascommencedmanufacture.
12.TosecuretoGliderolthepaymentofthepricethecustomerasownerlesseeortenantofthepremisesherebychargesthecustomersinterestin
thepremiseswiththepaymentoftheprice.Gliderolmayatanytimeafter(butnotbefore)defaultbythecustomerlodgeacaveatoverthe
customersinterestinthepremises.
13.Anydiscountapplicablewillnotbegrantediftheaccountisunpaidafter7days.
14.GlideroldoesnotitselfcarryoutinstallationbutwillnominateanaccreditedInstallerContractortocarryouttheworkonitsbehalf.Installation
isthenamatterofseparatecontractwiththeInstallerwhoseparticularsareeitherprovidedinthisQuotationorwillbeprovideduponcon‐
firmationbythecustomer.GliderolhastakenallreasonablecaretoensurethatanyInstallerContractornominatediscompetent,experiencedand
skilledintheinstallationofGliderol’sdoors.Gliderolwillatalltimesuseitsinfluencetoensureanyinstallationcomplaintisdealtwithpromptlyand
resolvedtothereasonablesatisfactionofthecustomer.Thecustomer’sattentionisalsodirectedtothetermsofthewarrantyherein.
15.Theinstallationcostscoveronlytheworkspecifiedonthequotationanddonot,unlessspeciallystated,includerectificationofexistingout‐of‐
squareopeningsorremovalofolddoorsandfittingsorelectricityorgasfittingsorthelike.
16.Whilstreasonablecarewillbetakenwhiledrillingandfixing,GliderolanditsInstallerswillnotberesponsibleforthefailure,fromanycause
whatsoever,ofanymasonryorrenderedsurfaceswhiledrillingorfixingbycrackingorcollapsing.
17.TheTerm“Takedownolddoors”orsimilarwordsusedinthisquotationrefersonlytothetakingofolddoorsoffthestructureanddoesNOTin
anywayimplyremovalortakingawayofanyolddoorsfromthepropertyorofdisposingofsuchdoors.
