CHAPTER 2. TECHNICAL DESCRIPTION GÖPEL electronic GmbH
2 Technical Description
2.1 Product Description
G Patch 6222 is a Breakout Box from GÖPEL electronic for simplified contacting of Video Dragon 6222 devices
with your DUTs. The test devices oen have dierent connectors than the Video Dragon 6222. The box routes the
signals from the Video Dragon 6222 to various Coax and STP variants and at the same time oers the possibility to
supply the test device with voltage.
Depending on which Media Interface is used in your Video Dragon 6222 and whether the DUT has Coax or STP con-
nectors, there is a corresponding G Patch 6222 box variant. The variant to be used depends on whether Coax or STP
is used/required and how many inputs and outputs the Media Interface oers. All current variants are explained in
this document.
2.2 Variants
2.2.1 Compatibility
Which Media Interface modules are compatible with the dierent G Patch 6222 variants can be found in the follow-
