Introduction
The Signal Cable Tracker is designed to identify and
locate a cable fault on a robot mower loop cable
and/or guide cable without damaging the insulation.
Included in the package
– Sender (MS6812- T)
– Receiver (MS6812-R)
– User´s manual
– Carrying bag
– 2 pcs batteries (9V)
Test if there is a fault on the loop cable
1Disconnect booth loop cable and guide cable (if any)
from the robot mower station. Don’t forget this – your
robot mower station and/or the MS6812 may get
damaged.
2Connect the red and black cables on the sender
to each of the loop cable like on the picture below.
(which one on each end of loop wire doesn´t matter).
3Put the sender in “CONT” mode.
There is contact and no fault on the cable if the CONT
lamp lights.
There is a fault if the CONT lamp is not lightning.
Make sure no cables are
conected to charging
station before you connect
the signal cable tracker!
Find where the cable fault is
Disconnect booth loop cable and guide cable (if any)
from the robot mower station. Don’t forget this – your robot
mower station and/or the MS6812 may get damaged.
1Connect the black cable to a metal piece that are
put down in the lawn/soil (i.e. a screwdriver like on the
picture) to make a ground connection.
Connect the red cable to the robot mower loop
cable while the loop cable.
2 Put the SENDER on “TONE” mode.
3Start and turn up the volume on the RECEIVER. Push
the button and start to follow the loop wire with the
nose tip of RECEIVER. Your start point is were you did
connect the red cable to the loop cable. A beep will
indicate that the loop cable is OK.
When you carefully follow the loop wire on close distance
and the receiver does stop beeping you have found the
cable fault!
Make sure no cables are
conected to charging station
before you connect the cable
tracker!
When you pass the cable
break point the receiver
will stop beeping.

Battery replacement
Sender (MS6812-T) battery replacement
Remove the battery cabinet cover on the back of the
Sender and replace the 9V battery.
Receiver (MS6812-R) battery replacement
Remove the screw of the battery cabinet cover on the
back of the Receiver, and replace the 9V battery.
Safety instruction
When not in use, take away the Sender from the test
circuitry, and switch to ”OFF”.
Keep the equipment away from moisture.
Never use this cable tracker on cables connected to
any kind of electrical equipment without rst having
disconnected the cables you are going to test.
Do never use cable tracker in high voltage environment.
Always follow this user’s manual to avoid serious
damage to the tester and personal injury.
