Pre-Assembly
PLANNING ASSEMBLY
Carefully read all instructions and caution warnings before beginning assembly. Determine shelving heights prior to
assembly to avoid dismantling for adjustment. More than one person may be required during assembly. Use care when
handling. Assemble the unit on a soft surface, such as carpet, to avoid scratching the floor or the unit.
CAUTION: Place the unit on a level surface to avoid
a tipping hazard.
NOTE: Please dispose of the loose, round plastic
pieces. These are used to separate the shelves for
shipping purposes.

Assembling the posts

Attaching the bottom shelf
□Screw the top post assembly (C) and bottom post
NOTE: More than one person may be required for
this step.
□Locate the desired position where the lowest shelf
will be installed onto the post assemblies.
□Insert a plastic sleeve (A) into the appropriate
groove on each bottom post assembly (B). Ensure
the tapered end of the plastic sleeve (A) is facing up
towards the top post (C).
□Place the shelf (E) on its side, and slide the post
assemblies up through the bottom of the shelf (E),
beginning with the top post (C), until the shelf (E) is
firmly seated on the plastic sleeves (A).
□After the shelf (E) is in place, turn the unit to the
upright position.
□Push down on each corner of the shelf (E), ensuring
it is in the fully locked position.

Leveling the unit
(E), and insert the plastic sleeves (A) into the
appropriate grooves on the post assemblies.
□Slide the shelf (E) down from the top of the post
assemblies and onto the plastic sleeves (A). Push
down on each shelf (E) corner, ensuring that it is
firmly seated on the plastic sleeves (A).
□Repeat this procedure for the remaining shelves
(E).
NOTE: The bottom post assemblies (B) have foot
levelers pre-installed into the bottoms.
□Screw the pre-installed foot levelers clockwise or
counterclockwise until the unit is level.
NOTE:
The tapered sleeves must be at the same height for
each pole to ensure the shelf sits on the sleeves levelly.
The post has a groo ve witha double line mark ing. It
can help t o identify the height of the tapered sleeve in each
post .

Insta ación de la repisa del fondo
□
NOTA: Puede que se necesite más de una persona para
completar este paso.
□Localice la posición deseada donde se instalará la repisa
más baja sobre los ensamblajes del poste.
□Inserte una manga plástica (A) en la muesca apropiada en
cada ensamblaje del poste del fondo (B). Asegúrese de
que el extremo ahusado de la manga plástica (A) esté
orientado hacia el poste superior (C).
□Coloque la repisa (E) en su lado, y deslice los ensamblajes
del poste hacia arriba a través del fondo de la repisa (E),
comenzando con el poste superior (C), hasta que la repisa
(E) esté firmemente asentada en las mangas plásticas (A).
□Después de que la repisa (E) esté en su lugar, gire la
unidad a la posición vertical.
□Presione en cada esquina de la repisa (E), asegurándose
de que esté en la posición completamente bloqueada.

Nivelación de la unidad

baja (E), e inserte las mangas plásticas (A) en las muescas

Presione en cada esquina de la repisa (E), asegurándose
de que esté firmemente asentada en las mangas plásticas
(A).
□Repita este procedimiento para las repisas restantes (E).
NOTA: Los ensamblajes del poste del fondo (B) tienen
patas niveladoras preinstaladas en los fondos.
□Atornille las patas niveladoras preinstaladas hacia la
derecha o hacia la izquierda hasta que la unidad esté
a nivel.
