HH Simonsen® has designed these irresistible Rod styling irons with a number
of leading stylists specialising in updos for long hair. The design of these eight
Rods is unique and gives creativity a boost, making it fun to design different types
of textures. The ceramic teflon coating ensures that the hair does not stick to the
surface during use, even when hairspray has been sprayed on the hair. The hair is
le so and shiny thanks to the ionic effect of the tourmaline.

Starting at the nape, create a small section and clip
the rest of the hair away. Use the crimping iron as
close to the scalp as possible. Aer 2-4 seconds
move the styler. Use the last wave endpoint as a
starting point. The process is repeated throughout
the entire length of the hair.

håret fast med clips. Klem crepjernet godt sammen
så tæt på hovedbunden som muligt. Eer 2-4 sek.

Make a new parting. Repeat the process above the
first section. Be careful not to get too big with the
partings. It is ideal to make the parting the same
width as the styler.

Repeat the process throughout the hair.

Use your fingers and shake to get separation in
the curl.

1. Safety
Before using any HH Simonsen® product, piease read the
foliowing instructions carefully. This will safeguard you from
possible hazards and prevent the appliance from damage
caused by incorrect operation. Always operate according to
the instructions! HH Simonsen® cannot be held responsible
for any direct or indirect damage caused by missuse of this
product.
1.1 Explanation of Terms
You will find the foliowing terms displayed in these safety
notes: Danger: High Risk! Failure to comply with this
warning can be fatal or may result in serious injury. lgnoring
the instructions displaying this warning can kill, seriously
injure and/ar damage the appliances.
!Attention: Medium Risk. Failure to comply with this
warning may result injury or damage to property.
Note: Low Risk. This information should be taken into
account when handling the appliance.
1.2 General Safety
Danger: High Risk!
• Only use the Crimping Iron to style human hair
• Do not use it on artificial or animal hair
• Do not use the heating elements to dry objects
• The appliance must never be used in the bath, shower
or over a filled wash basin or other container containing
liquid
• The appliance should not be operated with wet hands
• Do not immerse with wet hands
• Do not immerse the appliance in water or rinse under
running dripping wet hair. When connected to the power
supply, never leave the appliance unattended
• Check the mains voltage according to the voltage speci-
fied on the rating plate. (on the inside of the appliance)
Never switch on the appliance when:
• The appliance or the power lead is damaged
• The device has been dropped, shows visible damage or is
not functioning properly

• The appliance is damaged to such an extent that electri-
cal parts are exposed
Whenever this is the case, disconnect immediately from
the power supply and contact the place of purchase.
Please note that the manufactures 12-month warranty
covers parts failure only and does not cover accidental
damage or excessive wear or tear.
The product must be unplugged from the power supply
when:
• A defect occurs during operation
• You wish to clean the appliance
• The application power switch is in off position
• The appliance is not being used

• Electrical appliances should be kept away from children.
Children should not be allowed to use or play with the
appliance or the products packaging, e. g. Plastic wrap-
ping or films should also be kept out of reach of babies
and young children
• Arrange the power lead in a way that it will not cause
obstruction or can be tripped over
• Protect the power lead from damage. Never pull on the
power lead, hold the power plug when removing it from
the power socket
• Clean the product with a slightly dampened cloth (not
wet). Always disconnect the product from the power sup-
ply before cleaning and ensure the unit has cooled down
• Never use petrol spirits or other abrasive cleaning
substances
• To prevent possible overheating, never place towels or
similar such items over or under the appliance
• Do not use the appliance near combustible gases e.g. di-
rectly in the airflow of sprays, aerosols and styling foams
• Do not attempt to repair the product or connection cable
by yourself
• Do not use an extension cable with this appliance
• As with most electrical appliances, electrical parts
remain live even when the unit is switched off
! Attention
• Risk of burns! Do not let bare skin come into contact with
the heating plates during or aer use until such time that
the plates have cooled down
• When in use, the power cable should not be allowed to
come into contact with the heating plates
• Do not wind the power cable around the appliance, this
can break the cable!
• When in operation only place the appliance down on firm
heat resistant surfaces
• Make sure the appliance has completely cooled down
before storing away
• This appliance is designed for use indoors only. Do not
use outdoors e.g. in a garden or terrace etc.
• This appliance has been designed for use as a hairstyling
iron only and must only be used with product specifically
designed for use with a heated styler
Note
This appliance has been designed for commercial use,
however it can be used in either commercial or domestic

environments. Care should be taken to ensure the user has
read and understand the safety instructions.
2. Preparing the appliance for use
1. Plug the appliance into the power socket
2. Switch the appliance to the ON position. The appliance
should be ready to use aer approximately 15 seconds
4. Select the the temperature setting for 120°C, 140°C,
160°C, 180°C or 200°C depending on the hairs quality
5. Press the ON/OFF to turn it off aer you finish the
treatment
2.1 Crimping
1. Wash the hair. Dry it and comb through well
2. Separate out a section approximately 2 inches in width.
The thinner the section, The more intensive the crimping
get
3. Carefully place the section between the heating plates at
the hairline
4. Now hold the irons around the hair for some secound-
Never rest for more than 2 seconds in any one place
(Especially when using the hotter settings)
5. Repeat the process with this section until the desired
effect is achieved
6. Repeat step 3-5 with the remaining sections
7. Switch the straightening irons to the OFF position and
disconnect them from the power supply when you have
finished the treatment
8. Allow the straightening irons cool down completely
before storing
3. Cleaning and Care
To ensure the product remain in good working order, clean
the appliance regularly. This will remove the build up of
hair products or any other residue that can eventually coat
the heating plates. Important: Before cleaning, ensure the
appliance is unplugged.
4. Disposal
Equipment that has come to an end of its service life
should undergo correct disposal in accordance with the
law. Plastics and electronic parts should be submitted for
recycling. Enquiry at your municipal waste disposal site.
Electrical and electronic equipment (EEE) contains mate-
rials, components and substances that may be hazardous
and prewsent a risk to human health and the environment
when waste electrical and electronic equipment (WEEE) is
not handled correctly.
Equipment marked with the below crossed-out wheeled
bin is electrical and electronic equipment. The crossed-out
wheeled bin symbol indicates that waste electrical and
electronic equipment should not be discarded together
with unseparated household waste, but must be collected
separately.
For this purpose all local authorities have established
collection schemes un- der which residents can dispose
waste electrical and electronic equipment at a recycling
centre or other collection points, or WEEE will be collected
directly from households. More detailed information is
available from the technical administration of the relevant
local authority.

Users of electrical and electronic equipment must not dis-
card WEEE together with household waste. residents must
use the municipal collection schemes to reduce adverse
environmental impacts in connection with disposal of
waste electrical and electronic equipment and to increase
opportunities for reuse, recycling and recovery of waste
electrical and electronic equipment”.
Weee
WEEE is short for ”Waste from Electrical and Electronic
Equipment” and is used Eu-wide as a common designation
for such waste. (Electronic scrap)
5. Warranty
All HH Simonsen® products are covered by a 12 months
warranty. Repaired within 12 months from date of purchase
if it is found to be defective in materials or workmanship.
Please retain your original purchase receipt or invoice as
a proof of date of purchase. The defective iron must be
returned to the original place of purchase in its original
packing and along with this warranty as well as the proof of
purchase. This guarantee is only valid if the appliance has
been operated in strict accordance to the safety instructions.
Warranty Exclusions
• Damages caused by normal wear and tear including
chips, scratches, abrasions, discolorations or fading and
damage to the power cord
• Damages caused by careless or improper transportation.
• Damages caused by misuse of improper voltage and
current
• Damages caused by negligence, careless, disassembly
or dropping
• Damages caused by reparation or alteration which is not
from the original manufacturer or its authorized agents
• Any other damage which by HH Simonsen®‘s judgment
are not defective by materials or workmanship
Specifications: Power AC 110-240V, 50/60Hz, 25W
Dual Voltage, means you can use the power supply regard-
less if it is 110V or 230V.
HH Simonsen® can not be held responsible for damaged
hair / hair extensions.

Super professionelt crepejern
Opvarmning til max temperatur 200C, på mindre end 60
sekunder. Crepjernet har markedets mest avancerede
varmeelementer med Infra-Red teknologi. Crepjernets
overflade er coatede med det patenterede CETEFTM, som
er et keramisk materiale, som sikrer markedets mest
effektive lonic-teknologi.
Crepjernet er i en absolut klasse for sig selv, både med
teknologi og performance i alle typer af hår. Det har altid
været HH Simonsen® mål, at tilbyde frisørerne kvalitets
produkter til professionelt brug.
HH Simonsen® er kendetegnede ved et funktionelt design,
da professionelle frisører har skrappe krav til deres
produkter. Overfladen med keramik og tourmalin gør
det legende let at krølle håret, og statisk hår elimeneres
på grund af de infrarøde lysstråler, samt ved hjælp af
lonic-teknologi. Resultatet er ‘frizz frit’ hår med en
silkeblød overflade. Alle HH Simonsen®’s produkter er
lette at anvende på grund af deres ergonomiske design og
den reducerede vægt.

Tænd aldrig for crepjernet når:
• Ledningen er beskadiget
• Crepjernet er beskadiget
• Crepjernet har været tabt, og der ses spor eer skader
• Hvis crepjernets elektriske dele kan ses
Skulle crepjernet ved en fejl være blevet tilsluttet strøm,
sluk fomjernet og ern straks ledningen fra stikkontakten.
Aflever glatjemet der, hvor det er købt - husk købskvit-
teringen. Vær venlig at bemærke, at misligholdelse af
crepjernet ikke kan blive omfattet af en garanti.
Fjern ledningen fra stikkontakten hvis:
• Defekten forekommer i løbet af brug
• Crepjernet skal rengøres

Hvis dette ikke overholdes vil håret blive ødelagt pga. den

• Crepjernet må ikke bruges på dyr
• Brug aldrig benzin, fortynder eller anden form for kemi,
til at rense crepjernet med (brug en fugtet klud med en
let sæbeopløsning på, -vær sikker på at crepjernet er
helt tørt inden du sætter den i stikkontakten og tænder
den igen)
Enhver skade på personer eller ting, som er skyld i en af
overstående fejl, vil ikke kunne erstattes.
! Fare: Lav risikoer:
• Brug ikke andre elektriske apparater på samme
stikkontakt
• Eerlad aldrig crepjernet tændt (ern altid stikket fra
stikkontakten eer brug)
• Træk ikke stikket ud af stikkontakten med unødvendig
styrke
• Stikket/ledningen må ikke bøjes eller repareres på
• Hvis ledningen eller stikket bliver varmt sluk straks
for crepjernet og læg den fra dig på et stykke ’ikke
brandbart’ materiale
• Brug ikke crepjernet i nærheden af ild, eller andre let
antændelige materialer. (såsom benzin, gas, fortynder
væsker, linolie, sprays etc.)
• Under brug vil crepjernet blive varmt, og det kan være

nødvendigt at beskytte hænder med handsker, som
tåler varme
• Sæt aldrig det varme crepejern direkte ind på et øje eller
andre sarte kropsdele. Dette kan forsage brandskader
• Når der er børn tilstede, må crepjernet ikke anvendes,
uden der er en kyndig person tilstede
• Hvis ledningen bliver beskadiget, må du på ingen måder
selv reparere den. Crepjernet skal indleveres til os ,som
så vil sørge for, at en autoriseret elektriker analyserer og
reparerer ledningen på en forsvarlig måde
• Ledningen må aldrig vikles omkring crepjernet, idet det
kan skade ledningen

Crepjernet er designet til professionelt brug. Brug derfor
kun crepjernet i det miljø, som en professionel frisør ville
gøre. Crepjernet må ikke anvendes udenfor eller i vådrum,
samt ved temperaturer under 1O grader.
Brugen af crepjernet
1. Sæt ledningens stik i stikkontakten
2. Skub låseknappen, så pladerne skilles af, og Iean
benyttes
3. Tryk på ON/OFF for at tænde for apparatet
4. Tryk på temperaturjusteringen for at ændre temperatu-
ren imellem 150’C- 210C
5. Tryk på OFF når du er færdig med at bruge apparatet
6. Afbryd apparatet fra strømforsyningen
7. Lad apparatet køle ned, før opbevaring
Rengøring af crepjernet
Overfladen skal rengøres for skidt (hårlak, gele, skum
m.m.), som brænder sig fast under brug, med jævne
mellemrum. Overfladen skal rengøres med en ren bom-
uldskiud. Bomuldskluden kan vrides hårdt op i en let
sæbeopløsning, for at opløse de produktrester, som har
sat sig på pladerne. Undgå at lave ridser i overfladen under
rengøring.
Ridser forårsaget af rengøring er ikke dækket af garantien.
Overfladen slcal være kold inden rengøringen kan finde
sted, og crepjernet må ikke tændes igen, førend crepjernet
har stået i minimum en time eer afsluttet rengøring.
NB: crepjernet kan ved brug ændre farve på plastikover-
fladen samt andre steder, hvor varmen måtte kunne få
indflydelse. Disse ændringer i farven er ikke omfattet af
garantiordningen.
Weee
WEEE er en forkortelse for ”Waste from Electrical and
Electronic Equipment” og anvendes i hele EU som en
fælles betegnelse for affald fra elektriske og elektroniske
produkter (elskrot).
Strømforsygning: Power AC 110-240V, 50/60Hz, 25W
Dual Voltage, betyder at du kan bruge strømforsygningen
uanset om det er 110V eller 230V.
