Preparing 7

Procedure
1. Note the temperature of the location where the shipment package has been stored and the temperature of the data
center.
2. Move the package to the data center if the dierence between the two temperatures is greater than 36°F (20°C).
3. Leave the package in a dry area away from any direct source of moist air. Do not open the packaging right away.
4. Check for condensation on the shipment package. If it exists, leave the shipment package as is for at least 24 hours.
5. If condensation still exists after 24 hours, wait for all the condensation to fully evaporate.
6. After the package has been acclimatized to the data center environment, unpack the package.
Unpacking the components for HPE Primera
CAUTION:
• Observe local occupational safety requirements and guidelines for heavy equipment handling.
• Always use at least two people to lift an enclosure or three if lifting above chest level.
