SAFETY TIPS:
• Do Not leave the heater unattended
• Do not move the heater while it is in use.
• Shocks and bumps may activate the safety device.
• Always face the heater towards the center of the room.
• Use the heater only in a well-ventilated room. Ventilation is vital for the efcient performance of this
heater and for safety of the occupants of the room in which it is being used. Allow plenty of fresh air in,
never seal up the doorways and windows.
• Prevent young children and elderly people from touching very hot surfaces.
• The guard only protects against accidental clothing contact. Do not place clothes or other material on the
heater. Keep all ammable materials at least one meter away from the heater.
• Turn off the gas valve and gas supply after use.
• Never use or store solvents and pressurized containers near a gas heater even if the heater is turned off.
• Never dispose of rubbish in a gas re-this can affect combustion and produce dangerous pollutants.
• Always operate the gas control and cylinder valve from the side or rear of the heater.
• Standing in front of the heater exposes you to the risk of burns.
• Do not use the this heater whilst sleeping.
• This appliance shall not be used in high rise ats, in bathrooms, basements or bedrooms.
• Never direct the heater towards equipment, furniture, curtains and any objects that may combust or
susceptible to heat
• Do not modify to use the heater with a programmer, timer or any other device that switched on the heater
on automatically.
WARNING
If you suspect that the heater is leaking, turn off the gas supply and have
the unit inspected by a qualied technician.
WARNING:
If faulty DO NOT use, remove from service and rectify issues. Read this user manual carefully. It is
important for the correct operation of this appliance and the safety of user/s. Retain this user manual and
ensure this is made available to the user. If necessary, a new copy can be made available by contacting the
manufacturer.
• Turn off the gas cylinder valve after use and disconnect the regulator from the cylinder.
• The appliance is suitable for 7kg / 15kg cylinder, when changing the gas cylinder move the appliance to a
ame-free atmosphere.
• Do not move the appliance during operation, avoid straining and twisting the gas hose. The hose should
be regularly inspected for wear, damage and noted against the expiry date/ date of manufacture and
follow current regulations - replace hose if required.
• Do not place the heater near walls, curtains or furniture while in operation.
• Always face the heater towards the center of the room when in use.
• Do not put furniture or other items in front of the heater; minimum clearance to combustibles to the rear
and sides of the heater is 1000mm.
• The safety grill on this appliance conforms to standard requirements; it does not give full protection for
young children or the inrm. The guard is to prevent risk of injury and no part of it should be removed
or altered.
• This appliance should be leakage tested before initial use and whenever the cylinder has been
reconnected after lling.
Never use a naked flame to test for leakage.
