Operation principle
Gas is fed via a custom-made nozzle to small ceramic burner cells, where it is
ignited. As a result, the burner ceramic parts incandesce up to high
temperatures with simultaneous air heating via immediate open flame and
heating of surrounding objects via thermal (infrared) radiation from hot
ceramic parts.
Main features
1. Combination of thermal radiation and heat generation via open gas .
combustion makes the heater a cost-effective source of thermal power.
2. Quick self-repayment thanks to high efficiency and speed of reaching set
temperature.
3. Simplicity of installation, reliability in operation, and easiness of .
maintenance.
4. Simple and effective capabilities of temperature control and gas saving
thanks to three-mode selection of heating power - a burner with gradual start
and three power levels.
5. Piezo-ignition of flame.
6. Gas shutoff upon flame-out - an integrated flame detector.
7. Integrated three-mode quartz electric heater (in TGH 4200 O2 model).
8. The ODS protection circuit (oxygen detector) switches the heater off, if
oxygen content in air decreases to 18%.
9. The integrated tipping sensor switches the heater off, if it is inclined from the
vertical position, for example, if the appliance is accidentally overturned or

6. Preparation for work
1. Carefully remove the heater from the package.
2. Make sure that (for TGH 4200 O2 model) the heating elements and other parts of
the appliance have no remaining crumbles of packing foam plastic or other debris.
3. Carefully install the enclosed gas hose not twisting or breaking it. For that, screw one
end of the hose onto the gas valve connector, while the other end onto the connector
of the enclosed gas pressure controller (reducer). Secure the hose ends on the
connectors with jubilee clips.
4. Install a paronite/rubber spacer inside the cap nut checking its integrity beforehand
and then carefully screw the nut on the outlet of an already prepared gas cylinder
having appropriate capacity (a gas cylinder is not included in the delivery set and
purchased separately). Twisting of the hose is strongly not allowed.

The manufacturer reserves the right to change the set-list of the device (including liquid and powder components) for different
supplies without prior notice. The changes either in no way influence the basic technical parameters of the device or may improve
them, and also not violate the legislation or quality standards of the countries of manufacture, transit and selling.
The changes in the set-list may result in changing of the weight and dimensions of the device, but not more than by +\- 5-20%
(depending on the product category)
NOTE:
Heater can be supplied with the connected gas hose and gear, in this case to
produce the above steps are not necessary.

5. Slowly turning the gas pressure controller (cylinder check valve), make
sure that no gas leaks are present. For that:
- Lubricate all joints with soapy water. Gas leaks cause formation of bubbles
in permeable places.
- NEVER USE MATCHES OR LIGHTERS for gas leak checks.
If you find a gas leak, shut gas and contact your dealer or manufacturer's
service center.
6. Install the gas cylinder to the dedicated place inside the appliance and
secure with the clamp.
7. Carry the heater to the supposed place of operation observing the rules
and precautions described in Section 2 of this Instruction Manual.
8. The appliance is ready for work.
WARNING!
All gas joints and pipes should be absolutely tight to exclude even slightest
gas leaks. Never use matches, lighters, and other sources of open flame for
leak checks of joints. Use soapy water.
It is prohibited to use the gas-fired heater in flats of high-rise buildings,
bedrooms, bathrooms, and cellars.
Upon first ignition, it is recommended to preliminarily switch the heater on
outdoors, after which it can be used indoors.
The room, where the gas-fired heater is used, should be equipped with
natural ventilation.
Do not use the heater during sleep.
Always use only certified, recommended by the manufacturer, and properly
rated hoses/pressure reducers for connection of the appliance.
Always use only the gas type indicated by the manufacturer.
During operation of the appliance, watch that the gas cylinder is always
strictly vertical. Use of the cylinder in any other position may result in
occurrence of an emergency situation, breakdown of the appliance, and
infliction of a significant damage to you and/or your property.
It is prohibited to move or anyhow cover the heater during operation, as well
as after shutdown, if the heater is still hot.
The heater should be placed for operation so that its face plate is directed
towards the room center. At that, distances to walls or other objects on sides
and behind the appliance should be at least 1 m.
Connection to electric mains (for TGH 4200 O2 model)
1. The heater is designed for connection to the single-phase 220 VAC electric mains
equipped with a grounding loop.
2. Before connection, make sure that specifications of the electric mains at the
connection point meet the parameters indicated on the appliance nameplate.
3. Upon connection of the appliance to the electric mains, it is necessary to observe the
effective rules of electric safety.
4. The electric socket should be properly earthed. The socket should be designed for
rated current at least 10A. The electric socket and plug should be always dry to avoid
current leaks. Regularly check that the electric plug is tightly inserted into the socket as
follows: a) insert the electric plug into the socket; b) in half an hour of operation, switch
the heater off and remove the plug from the socket; c) check the plug by hand, whether it
is hot. If the plug has temperature over 50°, replace the socket with another one to
avoid damage, accidents, or occurrence of fire as a result of poor electric contact. The
socket should be replaced by a specialist.
ATTENTION!
The electric socket should be designed for rated current at least 10A and
an electric cable with wires at least 3x1.5 mm2 in sections (for copper)
7. Control of ceramic gas-fired heater
Ventilation
During operation, the gas-fired heater burns oxygen contained in air and
emits carbon dioxide (CO2).
It is important to remember that operation of the gas-fired ceramic heater is
permitted only in well ventilated rooms. This allows keeping the necessary
concentration of oxygen in air and removing combustion products.
Operation of the heater in closed and poorly ventilated rooms may create an
asphyxiating atmosphere and cause a lack of oxygen. If the oxygen
concentration decreases below 18%, the ODS system (oxygen detector)
activates and switches the heater off. In this case it is necessary to ventilate the
room before restarting the heating mode.
ATTENTION!
Do not start the gas-fired ceramic heater in rooms having volume less
3
than 84 m .
2
The minimum area of a vent should be at least 105 cm .
3
Necessary air exchange 10m / hour der 1 kW of thermal power heater.

8. Maintenance
1. Regularly check the integrity of the gas hose between the gas pressure
reducer and gas valve of the appliance. If any damage of the hose is found,
operation of the appliance is prohibited and the hose should be replaced.
2. Regularly check all gas joints, pipes, and devices for gas leaks (using
soapy water). If any gas leak is found, immediately switch the heater off,
disconnect the gas cylinder, and contact the dealer or manufacturer's
service center.
3. The appliance should be regularly washed to remove dust and dirt from
outer surfaces, since they affect efficiency of its operation and temperature
parameters of room heating. Before commencing preventive maintenance,
switch the appliance off and unplug it from the electric mains (for TGH
4200 O2 model). Let the appliance cool down and then wipe its surface
with slightly wet soft rag.
4. Detergents including those containing abrasives in composition are not
recommended for washing. Exclude damage of the appliance with sharp
objects, since scratches on the painted surface may result in rusting.
5. The rear surface of the gas-fired heater also should be periodically
cleaned to remove dust and dirt. The procedure of preventive cleaning
should be carried out periodically to maintain the technical condition of
the heater and keep its appearance for long years.
ATTENTION!
For your safety, it is prohibited to simultaneously start the gas-fired
ceramic heater and quartz electric heating elements.
9. Disposal
Upon completion of the service life, the heater should be disposed
according to the effective local regulations, rules, and methods. For more
details on disposal of the gas-fired heater, please contact a representative
of the local authority.
5. To switch the quartz electric heating elements off, put both keys to O
position. Unplug the power cord from the socket.
