If the test transformer is self configured by the user, it is
necessary to ensure that the voltage ratio of the test coil is greater
than 3% for the voltage ratio of the measured coil.
Matters needing attention
Please read the product instructions carefully before using this
device.
This product is a high voltage test equipment, when installed,
it should ensure that the distance between the high pressure
part of the equipment and the wall or metal equipment is greater
than or equal to 1meter, and that the distance between the high
voltage live part and the personnel is greater than or equal to 1.5
meters.
All equipment must be grounded with a grounding resistance
less than 0.5Ω.
The equipment each place uses a point of grounding, directly
all connect the place of contact.
When the red light of the equipment warning light is turning on,
all personnel should stay away from the high-voltage live part.
After the completion of the test, every sample must be
discharge with discharge rod.

I.Overview
Insulation boots and gloves are the necessary safety protection tools for the
operation and maintenance of power system. DL/T1476 "Regulations for preventive test
of electrical appliances for safety of electric industry" the test method and cycle of
common safety equipment such as insulating boots and gloves are stipulated.Insulated
boots and gloves voltage test, the cycle is half a year, the test process is not allowed to
break down, Simultaneously insulated boots leakage current is less than the limit value.
The instrument adopts multi-channel high voltage leakage current measurement
patent technology and wireless data communication technology to achieve the safe
measurement of high voltage leakage current purposes.Through the application of this
technology, the tester is completely isolated from the high-voltage system, which can
not only accurately measure the multi-channel high-voltage leakage current, but also
ensure the personal safety of tester.
In order to improve work efficiency, 6 or 8 samples can be tested at the same time.
In order to avoid repeated testing , the high voltage breaking patent technology is
adopted. During the process of testing, the breakdown samples can be separated from
the high pressure test system. No breakdown of the test continued until the test is
completed.
In order to cate to the requirements of the standard and reduce the labor intensity,
the company has developed the remote control electric insulation rod test support with
scale.Insulated rod holder can be electrically adjusted electrode distance by means of a
wireless remote control or a button on the device, Simultaneously it has a scale and
quantifies the segment length.Electrode using a combination of conductive foam, which
can achieve the effect of enclosing the insulation rod of test.
The complete set of testing equipment is based on the HZAQ-KS Intelligent
console ,HZQ-6/60 AC Hipot Tester, and divider. It is equipped with HZAQ-YW
Insulated boots glove leakage current test bench, HZAQ-YWB Insulated boots glove
leakage current test benchh and other equipment to complete a number of testing
works.
1. Main functions and technical parameters
2.1 Main Functions
2.1.1 Automatic control of the test can be achieved by means of centralized
computer control, and a database will be established to automatically issue test reports.
2.1.2 Simultaneous testing of 6 or 8 insulating boots or gloves to measure leakage
current separately.
2.1.3 Large screen LCD display with a large amount of information, only one
screen simultaneously can display 8 high-voltage leakage current, test voltage,
current, timing time and other parameters.
2.1.4 Parameters such as test voltage and primary current of test transformer can
be measured.
2.1.5 The use of proprietary wireless communication technology ,in order to
completely isolate the operating table from the high-voltage system ensure the safety of

the tester.
2.1.6 Fully automatic pressure test.After the start of the test, the instrument
automatically shuts down automatically to the national standard to request the booster
speed to raise the voltage automatically,and rises to the predetermined voltage to start
the time and maintains the test voltage, the time automatically drops the voltage to zero
and the power is cut off. Simultaneously, the leakage current of each sample is
displayed and the test results are automatically saved.
2.1.7 Each sample is equipped with a high-voltage break mechanism, when any
one way of breakdown, the road test will be automatically removed from the high
pressure, and do will not affect the test.
2.1.8 Has the function of overvoltage and overcurrent protection.
2.1.9 High pressure hazard warning lamp display.
2.1.10 The instrument can save 60 groups of test data and results, which always
can be consulted at any time.
2.1.11 Real-time calendar clock functionality.

Test part of the key function description
The contrast adjustment knob under the LCD screen can adjust the contrast of the
LCD screen, the operation keys "∧" "∨" and "<" and ">" on the right of the LCD screen
can be used to select menu and increase or decrease the selection quantity
respectively, the "CON" key is used to confirm the selected item and start the work, and
the "ESC" key is used to stop the test and return to the upper menu."Stop" button is
used for emergency stop test under special circumstances, "boost" and "buck" button is
used for manual adjustment of boost and buck.

Test bench host: complete the leakage current measurement and display of the
8-channel test products, and transmit to the console through the wireless interface.
Electric water injection gun: to complete the water injection operation of insulating
gloves or insulating boots.

IV.Installation and placement of equipment
1.4.Site layout of equipment
The site layout of the equipment shall meet the following requirements:
1)The distance between the high voltage part of each equipment and the wall or other
metal object is greater than 1 meter;
2)The distance between the console and other equipment should be within 3~5 meters;
3)The console should be aligned with the test device for insulating boots and gloves to
ensure the accuracy of wireless transmission;
4)Equipment with water injection function should be as close as possible to the upper
and lower water interface;
5)The equipment installation site shall have a grounding wire with a grounding
resistance of no more than 0.5Ω.
The equipment layout drawing in Figure 8 below is a typical equipment layout. Users
can make equipment layout according to the actual situation of the installation site by
referring to Figure 8.

1.5.Installation of equipment
1.5.1. Console installation and emplacement
1)Open the packing box, which contains the following components:

1: platform body 2: back board 3: front board
4: Display
5: keyboard, mouse
2)Position the platform body according to the position of the console in the Equipment
Layout drawing in Figure 8.
3)Refer to Figure 1 Console. Install the backboard and front board and secure them
with the included wood screws.
4)Remove the display from the packing box, install the base, and place it in the center
position of the backboard of the console; Connect the monitor signal cable to the
computer, and connect the monitor power cable to the power socket in the console.
5)Stand the console warning light upright with the wireless interface backward.
6)The keyboard and mouse are placed on the front panel.
Note: after the installation of the platform, do not lift the platform. If necessary, lift the left
and right legs to prevent the platform from falling off.
1.6.Installation and Emplacement of Test Bench for Insulating Boots and Gloves
with Circulation Water Injection (HZAQ-YW)
1)Open the packing box and the components are as follows:

2)After placing the equipment at the designated location, unscrew the four black soles
so that they land on the ground and adjust the height so that the equipment is
placed horizontally according to the position of the test stand for insulating boots
and gloves as shown in the equipment layout drawing in Figure 8.
3)Install the host machine of the test bench: refer to Fig. 2 for the test bench for
circulating water injection insulating boots and gloves.Insert the two sets of
insulating columns into the corresponding fixed holes of the sink, and make the
installation position of the support arm of the breaking mechanism forward. Install
the support arm of the breaking mechanism, make the breaking mechanism
vertically upward, and tighten the fixing bolts; Insert the test machine into the top of
the insulating column.
4)Connect the tap water: connect the tap water inlet at the back of the equipment to the
tap water pipe.
5)Install the drain pipe and place it in the drain opening.
6)Install the high pressure water gun: connect the high pressure water gun to the quick
connection water pipe, and the quick connection water pipe is connected to the
quick connection connector in the sink;The high pressure water gun is inserted into
the high pressure water gun hoCON reserved for the test bracket of the insulating

glove.
Note: In the dry test, only steps 1) ~ 3) are needed;Using a wet test requires steps
1) to 6).
5.4 Installation and placement of test bench for insulating boots and gloves with
circulating water injection (HZAQ-YWB)
1)Open the packing box and the components are as follows:
4 upper water pipes,1 lower water pipes,1 quick connecting water pipes,1 sectional
mechanism support arm
2)After placing the equipment at the designated location, unscrew the four black soles
so that they land on the ground and adjust the height so that the equipment is
placed horizontally according to the position of the test stand for insulating boots
and gloves as shown in the equipment layout drawing in Figure 8.
3)Connect the tap water: connect the tap water inlet at the back of the equipment to
the tap water pipe.
4)Install the drain pipe and place it in the drain opening.
5)Install the high pressure water gun: connect the high pressure water gun to the
quick connection water pipe, and the quick connection water pipe is connected to
the quick connection connector in the sink; The high pressure water gun is inserted
into the high pressure water gun hoCON reserved for the test bracket of the
insulating glove.
Note: In the dry test, only steps 1) ~ 3) are needed;Using a wet test requires steps
1) to 5).
1.7.Main control circuit cable connection
The cable connection of the main control loop is shown in Figure 7

Open the back door of the lower part of the console body and see the terminals as
follows:

The 220V AC power supply (A, N) and the low-voltage input end of the test
transformer are respectively connected according to the terminal definition diagram.
The 3X terminal is respectively connected to the instrument coil of the test transformer
according to the terminal definition diagram. The voltage divider of the product shall be
connected to the voltage divider measuring line according to the terminal definition
diagram.
If access control protection function is needed, it is necessary to remove the short
connector at the access control position of 3X terminal and connect the access control
switch protection contact point.Selection of access control switch protection contact: the
contact is closed when the door is closed.
The connecting points of the console, insulating glove tester, test transformer,
voltage divider and other equipment are respectively grounded.
Note: 1. The distance between two wireless data communication ports should not
exceed 6m.
2. This product is a high voltage test equipment. During installation, the
distance between the high voltage part of the equipment and the wall or metal
equipment shall be no less than 1 meter, and the distance between the high
voltage live part and personnel shall be no less than 1.5 meters.
3. Each grounding point of the equipment is directly connected to the
grounding point.
4. During the test, all personnel should stay away from the high-voltage live
part.
5. After the completion of the test, each sample should be discharged with
a discharge bar.
V.Preparation before the test
1.8.The console
Connect the power line, open the lower half of the console body control power
switch, test power switch, standby power switch;
The switch of the control key in the console panel is placed in the "close" position,

and the "power" indicator light is on, and the control power is switched on;
When the console is powered on, the default protection function of the device is
turned on, and the yellow protection indicator light is on. Press the "Protection" button to
remove the protection state before the test operation can be carried out, otherwise the
test power cannot be switched on.
Turn on the "Power" switch of the test part, the LCD screen will light up, and the
warning light will turn green. The screen will display the following picture:
a) Insulated boots and gloves test bench
Connect the power input end with the power cord to the power socket of the
insulating boots and gloves test bench;
Turn on the main power switch;
Turn on the mainframe power switch of the test bench, and the 8-way LED leakage
current indicator is on.
For the first time, the following operations shall be performed:
a) Water filling in the sink: open the water inlet valve at the lower part of the
platform and start to fill the sink with water. When the water depth reaches
26~28cm (the upper end of the yellow mark line), close the water inlet valve.
b) Water injection into the muff: lift the high-pressure water gun, aim the head of
the gun at the test barrel of the insulating gloves, pull the handle of the
high-pressure water gun and start to fill water into the muff until the liquid level is
about 10cm away from the mouth of the muff, and stop the water injection.Fill the 8
hand sleeves with water one by one.
1.9.Matching test bracket
Connect the power socket with the power cord to the power socket of each test
bracket; Turn on the power switch, the power switch is on, turn on the power.

1.10. Check the wireless connection
After the console is powered on, the upper right corner of the LCD screen in the
test part will display the wireless communication status with animation. If you can't see
the animation display, please check whether the high-pressure discharge control
instrument is turned on and whether the wireless data communication port is correct.
The bottom left of the screen displays the battery power simulation bar. When the bar is
full, the battery is full. The user is recommended to charge when there is one grid left.
The information of battery power is transmitted by wireless data communication. The
display under the abnormal state of wireless communication is not the actual
information of battery power. Please check the information of battery power under the
normal condition of wireless communication.
1.11. High pressure break self test
Insulating boots and gloves test bench for the first time or after a long time of use,
before the test should be carried out this function test. The specific operation is as
follows:
The spring of the 8-way break mechanism of the test bench for insulating boots and
gloves is hanged on the armature of each trip device.
Under the boot state of the console test section, press any key on the right side of
the LCD screen to enter the main menu, as shown in the figure:
Press "∨" key to move the cursor downward to the item of "System Setting", and
press "confirm" key to enter the sub-menu as follows:
The cursor is located in the item of "high pressure breaking self-test", press "CON"
to enter the high pressure breaking self-test program, and the self-test will start
automatically. The 1-8 way trip mechanism will move in turn, and the spring of the

breaking mechanism will fall off.For each self-check pass, type "√" on the corresponding
position on the screen.
1.12. System Settings
This function is used to set the clock time, equipment verification, as well as
supporting test transformer, voltage divider and other equipment related parameter
setting, generally factory have been set, the user does not need to set. If you need to
change, please follow the instructions below to set.
1.12.1. Time setting
Enter the sub-menu of "Time Setting", use the keys "<" and ">" to select the
modified time parameter and use the keys "∧" and "∨" to add and subtract the time
parameter according to the screen prompts.Determine the current year, month, day,
and time. Press "Confirm" to save and return to the menu of system Settings.
1.12.2. System calibration
The instrument adopts a highly intelligent measurement method, with the function
of automatic calibration by software, which rejects the way of adjusting the
potentiometer. It will not reduce the measurement accuracy due to the aging of the
potentiometer or the change of the vibration resistance value, and can ensure the
long-term stability of the instrument.
Note: The instrument has been strictly calibrated and aged before leaving the
factory. If the user does not have the calibration condition, please do not enter the
system calibration procedure.
1.12.3. System check
This function is designed for instrument verification setting, using single-phase
standard power supply and single-phase calibrator for verification. Select the "System
Check" item and press the "CON" button to enter the system check procedure. The
wiring is shown in Figure 9. The test part shall be removed to verify the wiring.
Verification of leakage current requires on-line testing of the tester host and
insulating glove test host, and transmission of leakage current test data through
wireless signals.

1.12.4. System parameter setting
Select the "System Parameters" item, press the "CON" button to enter the system
parameter setting procedure, enter the password (please ask the manufacturer for it),
and enter the next menu, as follows:
The cursor is located in "System Parameter 1", and press "CON" to enter:
1) Test variable ratio setting
Select the item of "test variable measurement variable ratio", press the "confirm"
key to enter the setting procedure, press "<" and ">" to move the cursor, press "∧" and
"∨" to change the parameter, which should be set as the voltage ratio of the high
voltage output of supporting AC booster to the measuring coil.For example: the high
