On the electrical module when the switch is turned on, the
optical bre ashes white, the upper part is illuminated in
white, the top in red and the lift moves.
Each key on the 5F remote control device has the following
functionality :
Lorsque l’interrupteur du module électrique est mis en
position ON (marche), la bre optique clignote en blanc,
la partie supérieure est illuminée en blanc, le sommet en
rouge et l’ascenseur effectue un déplacement.
Chacune des touches de la télécommande 5F a les fonc-

• Put stringer 1B (A-008) on your workbench and place element 1E (A-067)
on the end that is marked «A-008».
• Position it as illustrated and align the two holes so that the screws can
be fastened.
• The only proper orientation is the one shown.
• All these elements must be assembled on the inner side of the stringer, the
one that is smooth and without protrusions.
• Disposez le longeron 1B (A-008) sur votre espace de travail et placez sur
l’extrémité marquée avec l’inscription “A-008”, l’élément 1E (A-067).
• Orientez-le comme dans l’image et alignez les deux trous pour pouvoir
fixer les vis.
• L’orientation qui est montrée est la seule correcte.
• Tous ces éléments doivent être assemblés sur la face interne des longe-
rons, celle qui est lisse et sans protubérances.

• Turn both parts over to access what will be the outer surface of stringer 1B
(A-008), which represents the many rivets in the tower.
• Be careful that they do not detach from each other and pass the AM screws
through the two openings mentioned in the previous step.
• Arrange element 1D (A-066) in the same way as element 1E (A-067) which
was assembled earlier.
• Align the two holes with those marked on the 1B (A-008) stringer to insert
the bolts as shown in the picture.
• Ensure that the crossed silhouette of part 1D (A-066) coincides exactly
with the area indicated by the arrow by overlapping it with 1E (A-067).
• This will confirm that it is properly oriented, as the other side of the model
is slightly different from the one shown.
• Access the inner surface of stringer E19(A-8) and assemble A nut into each
of the AM screws..
• You can hold the nut with your fingers to prevent it from turning and screw
in the bolt with the screwdriver included in this issue.
• Retournez les deux éléments pour accéder à ce qui sera la surface
extérieure du longeron 1B (A-008), qui représente les nombreux rivets de
la tour.
• Faites attention pour qu’ils ne se détachent pas entre eux et faites passer
les vis AM par les deux trous mentionnés dans l’étape précédente.
• Disposez de la même façon, l’élément 1D (A-066) suite au 1E (A-067)
assemblé précédemment.
• Alignez les deux trous avec ceux marqués sur le longeron 1B (A-008) pour
insérer les boulons comme vous pouvez le voir sur l’image.
• Assurez-vous que la silhouette croisée de la pièce 1D (A-066) coïncide
exactement sur la zone indiquée avec la flèche en la superposant à 1E
(A-067).
• Ceci vous confirmera qu’elle est orientée correctement, car l’autre côté du
modèle est légèrement diffèrent.
• Accédez à la surface interne du longeron 1B (A-008) et assemblez un
écrou dans chacune des vis AM.
• Vous pouvez tenir l’écrou avec vos doigts pour éviter qu’il ne tourne et
visser le boulon avec le tournevis inclus dans ce numéro.

• Turn the entire assembly over and ensure that part 1E (A-067) does not
come loose.
• Then put 2 AM screws through the holes mentioned in the previous step.
• Take stringer 1A (A-010) and place it next to the set we have just assembled.
• Align the four holes for inserting the screws that will join it to the parts
assembled in the previous step. • Make sure that stringer 1A (A-010) remains beneath the other elements, as
these will always be assembled from the inside of the tower.
• Let’s go back to the innerside of stringer 1B (A-008). Install two nuts in the
same way as in step 03.
• Retournez à nouveau tout l’ensemble, et faites attention que la pièce 1E
(A-067) ne se détache pas.
• Ensuite, passez 2 vis AM par les trous mentionnés dans le pas précèdent.
• Prenez le longeron 1A (A-010) et disposez-le à côté de l’ensemble que
nous venons de monter.
• Alignez les quatre trous afin de placer les vis qui vont l’unir aux pièces
assemblées dans l’étape précédente.
• Assurez-vous que le longeron 1A (A-010) reste en dessous des autres élé-
ments, car ces derniers vont toujours être assemblés par la face interne
de la tour.
• Revenons sur la face interne du longeron 1B (A-008). Installez deux bou-
lons de la même façon que dans l’étape 03.

• Turn the assembly upside down to place the four AM screws on the outside
of stringer 1A (A-010).
• Finally, access the inside of the assembly and place the corresponding
nuts to secure the components.
• Retournez l’ensemble pour placer les quatre vis AM sur la face extérieure

• Finalement, accédez à la face interne de l’ensemble et placez les boulons

(A-062) to the end marked “A-007”.
• Position it as shown and align the holes so that the screws can

• Repeat the steps previously described to assemble the second element 2C
(A-062) included in this issue.
• Align it as shown in the picture so as to form a symmetrical assembly.
• Turn the parts over to access the inside of the 2A stringer (A-007) and
tighten a nut on each of the AM screws.
• To make this easier, insert the nut into the spanner provided in this issue,
placing it on one of the screws and give it a turn or two.
• You can then hold the nut with the spanner to prevent it from turning and
screw in the screwdriver on the other side.
• Répétez les opérations décrites jusqu’à présent pour monter le deuxième
élément 2C (A-062) inclus dans ce numéro.
• Orientez-le comme illustré sur l’image de manière à former un ensemble
symétrique.
• Montez l’élément 2D (A-067) sur l’extrémité inférieure du longeron 2B
(A-009) marquée de l’inscription « A-009 ».
• Assurez-vous de l’orienter comme illustré sur l’image, c’est-à-dire : le côté
lisse vers le longeron et le côté avec une encoche semi-circulaire vers le
côté opposé.
• Utilisez deux vis AM pour fixer les deux pièces en gardant à l’esprit que
la vis se place toujours sur la face extérieure du longeron et l’écrou sur
la face interne.
• Retournez les pièces pour accéder à la face interne du longeron 2A (A-007)
et serrez un écrou sur chacune des vis AM.
• Pour vous faciliter la tâche, introduisez l’écrou dans la clé incluse dans ce
numéro, placez-le sur l’une des vis et donnez un ou deux tours.
• Vous pouvez ensuite maintenir l’écrou avec la clé pour éviter qu’il ne
tourne et visser avec le tournevis de l’autre côté.
• Turn both parts over so that the outside of stringer 2A (A-007) is in front
of you.
• Make sure that the parts remain together and do not shift and then insert
the AM screws through the two holes mentioned in the previous step.
• Retournez les deux éléments pour avoir devant vous la face extérieure du
longeron 2A (A-007).
• Faites attention à ce que les pièces restent solidaires et ne se déplacent
pas et faites passer les vis AM par les deux trous mentionnés à l’étape
précédente.

• Mount the item 2D (A-067) on the lower end of stringer 2B (A-009) marked
“A-009”.
• Be sure to position it as shown in the picture, i.e. the smooth side towards the
stringer and the side with a semi-circular notch towards the opposite side.
• Use two AM screws to secure the two pieces, keeping in mind that the
screw always sits on the outside of the rail and the nut on the inside.

• Take the two sets you have assembled so far and connect them with two
screws AM and two nuts.
• Prenez les deux ensembles que vous avez montés jusqu’à présent et

• Now add element 2E (A-066) to the assembly and make sure that the
perforated cross parts of the two overlapping cross parts coincide exactly,
this will confirm the correct orientation.

• Take the assembly of number 1 and mount it on the
assembly of number 2.
• This creates a closed parallelepiped that will form the
structure of one of the tower’s legs.

(A-007) and 1B (A-008) rails.
• As previously mentioned, the perforated crosspieces of two adjacent overlap-
ping elements should coincide, indicating the correct orientation.

• Repeat the previous steps to assemble the second piece 3B (A-038).
• The structure of the tower leg will then no longer be able to come out of
its base.
• Secure the construction with two AP screws.

• Align the openings for the screws and make sure that the perforated cross-
pieces coincide perfectly when you put the two pieces on top of one another.

• Use 2 AM screws and their associated nuts to fix part 4A (A-070) to the
two corresponding lower openings. Use a spanner to hold the nuts while
you tighten the screws with the screwdriver.
• Utilisez 2 vis AM et leurs écrous pour fixer la pièce 4A (A070) sur les deux
trous inférieurs correspondants. Utilisez une clé pour maintenir les écrous
pendant que vous serrerez les vis à l’aide du tournevis.
• Disposez la deuxième pièce 4A (A-070) entre les longerons 2A (A-007) et
2B (A-009).
• Alignez les quatre trous pour pouvoir passer les vis et assurez-vous que
l’orientation est correcte en faisant coïncider le croisillon perforé de la
pièce 4A avec la pièce de dessous.
• Utilisez deux vis AM pour fixer la pièce 4A (A-070).
• N’oubliez pas de placer les écrous correspondants sur la face interne de
la structure.
• Disposez l’une des deux pièces 4B (A-065) entre les longerons 1A (A-010)
et 2B (A-009).
• Comme toujours, alignez les trous pour pouvoir passer les vis et
assurez-vous d’adopter l’orientation correcte de la pièce 4B.

• Place the second part 4A (A-070) between stringers 2A (A-007) and 2B
(A-009).
• Align the four openings for the screws and make sure the orientation is
correct by matching the perforated crosspiece of part 4A with the bottom
piece.
• Use two AM screws to fix part 4A (A-070).
• Be sure to place the corresponding nuts on the inside of the structure.
• Place one of parts 4B (A-065) between stringers 1A (A-010) and 2B
(A-009).
• As always, align the openings for the screws and ensure that the orienta-
tion of part 4B is correct.

orienting it in such a way that the densest crosspieces are at the lower end.

Le module électronique 5A (A53)
est une carte de circuit imprimé qui
contrôle les fonctions électriques
de la tour en réponse aux ordres
reçus de la télécommande 5F.
La carte comporte une série de
bornes pour le raccordement des
différents câbles et des faisceaux
de fibre optique du système d’illu-
mination.
Chaque borne est identifiée par un
code correspondant aux bornes
des câbles.
La position de l’interrupteur ON /
OFF (marche / arrêt) sur la carte
ainsi que la prise de raccordement
à l’alimentation électrique sont
également indiquées sur l’image.
The electronic module 5A (A53) is a PCB
that regulates the electrical functions
of the tower in response to commands
received from the remote control 5F.
ThePCB containsaseries of terminalsfor
the connection of the various cables and
fibre optic bundles of the illumination
system. Each terminal is identified by
a code corresponding to the cable
terminals.
The position of the ON/OFF switch on the
PCB and the power supply connection
socket are also indicated on the image.
