Installing Vehicle Accessory bundle
Parts List:
1. Mount Arm
2. Dock
3. USB Guide
4. Power Harness
5. Keys
6. Screws (4)
7. Hex Key (1)
8. Hex Bit (1)
To begin the installation of your TT800V tablet to your vehicle, follow the steps below:
Install the Mount Arm, as
shown in Figure A. Please
install the Mount Arm to the
vehicle with a total of 4 screws.
Note: These screws are NOT
included with the Mount Arm.
However, you may use a type
of screw that fits the base
square or an adhesive that
allows for full contact of the
base square.
The screws will be installed into
the base part of the Mount Arm
as shown in Figure B1.
To install the Dock into the
Mount Arm, line up the 4
screws that came along with
the Dock and place it inside the
mounting frame holes from the
inside of the Mount Arm. The
threaded ends should be
pointed in the direction towards
the Dock. When connecting the
Dock to the Mount Arm, use the
included Drill Bit for the screws,
as shown in Figure B2. Make
sure you do not over‐tighten
the screws, as it may damage
the Dock. Use all 4 screws
when installing your Dock as
shown in Figure C below.

Connect a vehicle Power
Harness to the micro‐USB port
on the Dock, as shown in
Figure D. Additionally, the USB
guide on the dock can also be
used to provide additional
support to the connector, as
shown in Figure E.
When installing the Power
Harness (Figure HP), do so
when the vehicle is parked,
turned off, and the engine
has cooled off after a period
of time. Attach the red cable to
the positive power source, and
attach the blue cable, the
negative ground cable, to its
vehicle battery source. Note:
The connection points will vary
from vehicle to vehicle. You
should consult your manual for
further assistance.
Using the included keys with
your tablet Dock, unlock the
Dock prior to inserting your
tablet. The key’s position is
shown in Figure F. Insert the
tablet into the Dock. Ensure
you start by pressing the
bottom latches of the tablet as
shown in Figure G1 into the
notches of the Dock first, as
shown in Figure G. You should
hear a click when the tablet
connects. Turn the key to lock
the tablet into place, and check
the top left button to make sure
it cannot be pressed as shown
in Figure H. If the top left button
presses in when pushed, the
tablet is not secure/locked. You
may now remove the keys from
the Dock lock. Vehicle
installation is now complete for
the TT800V.

Adjusting your Dock
Hold the Dock with one hand to prevent the tablet from falling and impacting against the
vehicle if the tablet is in the Dock. Loosen the middle screw in the Mount using the Hex
Key as shown in Figure I. Alternatively, the twist handle on the Mount can be used for
adjustment. Adjust the tablet and Dock to the preferred angle and location. Once the
preferred angle and location have been made, be sure to tighten all connections that
were loosened for the adjustment.

Environmental Considerations
The TT800Vis built to operate in a wide temperaturerange. If the internal temperature
of the device exceeds certain temperatures, the device will power off to protect its
internal components from the extreme heat. Once the temperature in the room/area
normalizes, the tablet will then be able to resume normal functionality and activity. The
following are the internal temperature thresholds for the device:
Battery Operational Temp: 0°C to 55°C (32°F to 130°F)
Device Storage Temperature: ‐20°C to 60°C (‐4°F to 140°F)
To help prevent the devicefrom overheating, the following actionsare suggested:
1. Do not leave the device(s) in direct sunlight for extended periods of time in a
confined vehicle environment.
2. Do not place device(s) on hot surfaces beyond more than the above
temperatures.
3. Do not leave the device(s) in the vehicle for extended periods of time under
extreme heat conditions.
4. Store in a cool, dry place.
5. Keep a sunscreen reflector on the vehicle windshield from inside.
Keep the area surrounding the device clear of additional items or clutter. Circulating
air will help cool the tablet. Note: Extreme fluctuation in temperature and
operational temperature could cause the tablet to overheat and catch fire,
or result in a shorter battery life. We ask that you please consider the
suggestions made in the user manual and only use the tablet in acceptable
and non-extreme environmental conditions.

Additional environmental considerations on your device:
▪Only use and store the tablet when the relative humidity is below 90%
and non‐condensing.
▪Keep your tablet free of dirt and debris. This can clog the vents
used to help cool your device.
▪Handle your tablet with care. Dropping the tablet can cause damage
to the screen or other components.
▪Do not force connections into the tablet. This can damage the port
and/or the connector. Always check the orientation of the ports to make
sure they are going in/facing the correct way.
▪Do not use sharp objects as a stylus on your tablet. This can scratch
and damage your screen.

Tablet Battery and Charging:
Your tablet will charge when connected to the Dock or charger if appropriate power is
applied. Letting the screen ‘sleep’ will enable the device to charge faster.
If the device is not going to be used for an extended period of time, it is suggested to
turn the tablet off. To turn the tablet off, hold the Power Button until you receive a pop‐
up asking to “Power Off”or “Reboot”. Tap “Power Off”, then tap the “OK”confirmation
to complete the device power off.
If you intend to keep the device off for an extended period of time, ensure the tablet is
charged at least 75% when you store the device. Keep the device in an area that will
not be exposed to excessive heat, as this can cause irreversible damage to the lifetime
of the battery. Tablet and accessories should be stored in a climate-controlled
environment between 1°C to 50°C.
If the device has not been powered on for longer than four months, it is recommended
to charge the device to at least 75%. If the battery is stored for an extended period of
time with 0% battery level, it will cause irreversible damage to the lifetime of the battery,
which is due to the working principle of the lithium-ion battery. This is a known limitation
of lithium‐ion batteries.

Tablet Cleaning and Maintenance
To clean the screen on your tablet, use a soft lens cleaning cloth or lens wipes. Do
not use abrasives or strong detergents.
To clean pogo pins contact panel (on the back of the tablet), use a fiberglass
scratch pen/brush or a pink eraser. To clean ports on the tablet, use compressed
air. Do not insert foreign objects into any I/O interface ports.
Basic Troubleshooting:
This section provides troubleshooting guidance for the following issues:
1. Will Not Power On (WNPO)
2. Touch Pad Issues
3. Stuck in Boot Load
4. Connectivity Issues
a. Wi-Fi
b. Bluetooth
5. Device Running Slowly
6. Physical Damage
1. Will Not Power On (WNPO), we recommend that:
•The type of charger JACS recommends to use is the proprietary JACS
solutions charger you received with your TT800V tablet. Any other charging
cable is not recommended.

*Proprietary JACS charger*
*Charging with another cable is not recommended*
•Please make sure you are using the JACS charger provided with the device
in order to get the fastest and most reliable charge.

•The device is recommended to be left on the charger for 3 hours minimum.
It is highly recommended to leave the device charging overnight to charge the
device as much as possible.
2. Unresponsive Touchpad
•Try to reboot the device. In order to do so just hold down the power button for
15 seconds.
•If that does not work, then try a hard reset. To perform a hard reset,
simultaneously hold the power and volume up button. You should be prompted
with a black screen and then the JACS logo. You should then see “Android
System Recovery”, with different options such as, “Reboot System Now”.
Press the Power Button when that is highlighted and it should hard reboot.

•A third method is to do a hard reset and select wipe cache partition, as this
will clean all the temporary system files/data from the tablet’s memory.
Essentially, this allows you to access apps and start the tablet much more
quickly. Note this will not delete any applications or user data previously
installed by the end-user.
•A final method to ensure the Touch Panel is not functioning correctly is to
actually see where the touches are. Do this by:
•Going into Settings>About device>Build Number (Click 7 –8
times)>Settings>Developer Options>turn on show touches/pointer location:

When this is turned on you will be able to see the actual touches.
3. Stuck in Boot Load:
•In order to fix this issue, we recommend you repeat the trouble shooting steps
for Unresponsive Touch Pad.
•Certain apps you download could stop your tablet from booting normally as
well, so download apps that are secure and appropriate by checking the data
from the developer and application before downloading.
•Please reach out to h[email protected], for email support and
technical advice.
4. Issues with Connectivity:
➢WIFI
➢Bluetooth
➢LTE
•If you are connecting to a Cellular/LTE Network and are having connectivity
problems, the method we recommend to fix this issue is to contact your SIM
card issuer directly. Also, please ensure the SIM card is active.
•The second method is to reinsert the SIM card after you take it out, making
sure the tablet is, “Powered Off”, before doing so.
•The next option is to perform a “Soft Reset”. Simply holding the “Power
Button” for 10-15 seconds and press “Restart” or “Reboot”.

TT800V Best Practices Guide
JACS Solutions Inc
20
•The last option is to test the SIM card in different devices that have a SIM card
slot to see if it works or not in:
➢Phones
➢Other tablets etc.
▪If you’re connecting to a Wi-Fi Network:
➢Ensure your network is up and running by checking your router to ensure
it’s turned on. The link lights should be flashing from the back of the router,
where the ethernet cable is plugged in.
➢Toggle the Wi-Fi option on and off. The network mapping could reset and
possibly fix your Connectivity issue.
➢Lastly, try a Reboot as previously mentioned above.
▪Bluetooth Issues:
➢Make sure the Bluetooth icon is on, before trying to connect/pair a device.
