Safety Precautions
1. DO NOT press the LCD Screen with force. DO NOT place the Tablet PC with small
items, they may scratch LCD Screen or enter the Tablet PC.
2. DO NOT expose the Tablet PC to dirty or dusty environments. Keep the
environment clean and dry.
3. DO NOT place the Tablet PC on uneven or unstable work surfaces.
4. DO NOT place or drop objects on the top of the Tablet PC. DO NOT shove any
foreign objects into the Tablet PC. DO NOT press hard on the LCD screen.
5. DO NOT expose the Tablet PC to strong magnetic or electrical fields.
6. DO NOT leave the Tablet PC facing the sun as it can damage the LCD Screen,
especially in the car.
7. SAFE TEMP: This Tablet PC should only be used in environments with ambient
temperatures between 5℃(41℉) and 35℃(95℉).
8. DO NOT expose the Tablet PC to or use near liquids, rain, or moisture.
9. Caution: risk of explosion if battery is replaced by an incorrect type. The battery for
this device is not user-serviceable.
10. Warning: Excessive volume from earphones and headphones can cause hearing
loss.
11. Dispose of the Tablet PC properly. Check local regulations for disposal of electronic
products. Please recycle the Battery Pack, and check with your Local Authority or
retailer for recycling advice.
12. The Tablet PC and the Adapter may experience some heat during operating or
charging. This is a normal part of operation.
13. INPUT RATING: Refer to the rating label on the Tablet PC and be sure that the
Power Adapter complies with the rating. Only use attachments or accessories
specified by the manufacturer.
14. Check the connections between the main unit and attachments before turning on
the Tablet PC.
15. DO NOT use the Tablet PC while eating to prevent grease from affecting the Tablet
PC.
16. DO NOT insert anything into the Tablet PC that may result in short circuit or
damage the circuit.
17. Power off the Tablet PC, if you want install or remove non hot-swappable devices.
18. Disconnect the Tablet PC from the electrical outlet and remove any installed
batteries before cleaning.
19. DO NOT disassemble the Tablet PC, only a certified service technician should
perform repairs on your computer. Otherwise, problems may result that may void
the warranty.
20. DO NOT block the vents on the side and the back of the Tablet PC. DO NOT place
the Tablet PC on soft objects (e.g.: bed, sofa, your lap), or else the Tablet PC may
become hot and halt the system operating.
21. The socket-outlet shall be installed near the equipment and shall be easily
accessible.

USB devices can only be inserted in one orientation. Force to insert the card
may in result of damage.
The transfer cable (included) is necessary for connecting the VGA.

for 4 seconds in the event that the system
halts.

2 Caring for the Tablet PC
The Tablet PC is a precision device; misuse may damage the device.
2-1 LCD Screen
LCD Screen is the most delicate component of the Tablet PC and comprised of thin
glass. It may be broken by external abrupt force. DO NOT scratch the cover of the Tablet
PC, scratches to the LCD may be permanent and are not covered under warranty.
DO NOT press the LCD with force, or else damage may occur.
DO NOT place objects on the screen to avoid damaging the screen.
Place the Tablet PC in the optional carrying case to protect it from dirt, water, shock
and scratches before traveling.
DO NOT drop or place heavy objects on the LCD Screen.
DO NOT scratch the LCD Screen with your fingernails or any hard objects.
Use a soft and lint-free cloth to wipe your Tablet PC and wipe it gently in order to
avoid damaging the LCD Screen.
Turn off the LCD Screen if the Tablet PC will not be used for an extended period.
DO NOT clean the LCD Screen with chemical cleaners.
Ensure that the LCD Screen DOES NOT come into contact with hard objects (E.g.:
shirt buttons, watchband).
Use a soft and lint-free dry cloth to wipe the LCD Screen smoothly. DO NOT use
your hand to wipe the LCD Screen directly.
DO NOT spill liquid into the Tablet PC as it can damage the components of the
Tablet PC.
DO NOT clean the Touch Pad with acidic cleaner or spray cleaning solution
directly on the Tablet PC.
2-2 Hard Disk Drive (HDD)
Place the operating Tablet PC in steady and even table. Poor handling of the
Tablet PC may damage the HDD.
The HDD is the most delicate component in turning on and powering off the
system. The HDD operates at unsteady fast speeds during turning on the Tablet
PC; the vibrancy may damage the track of HDD. If the axes of the HDD have not
stopped completely during shutdown of the Tablet PC, the vibrations may damage
the HDD.

2-3 Other accessories
Follow the below steps before cleaning your Tablet PC and the accessories.
1. Turn off the Tablet PC. Disconnect your Tablet PC and all external devices from
their electrical outlets.
2. Moisten a soft, lint-free cloth with water and wipe the surface of the Tablet PC
smoothly. DO NOT allow liquid to seep into the Tablet PC in order to avoid shorting
circuits and the damaging the Tablet PC.
3. Turn on the Tablet PC after drying it.
2-4 If water seeps into the Tablet PC
DO NOT turn on the Tablet PC immediately.
Disconnect the outlet cable in order to turn off the Tablet PC, instead of pressing
the POWER button to turn off it. Disconnect all external devices.
Spill out the water from the Tablet PC. Use a soft and waterish paper or cloth to
wipe the surface of the Tablet PC lightly.
Use a fan to dry the Tablet PC and accessories, and then send it to the service
center for repair.
DO NOT use hair dryer to dry the Tablet PC, or the high temperature may damage
the plastic.
DO NOT place the Tablet PC into a dirty carrying case. Wait for the case to dry.
2-5 Other Notes
DO NOT expose the Tablet PC to a hot environment for a long time, especially in a
car.

3 Traveling with the Tablet PC
Turn off the Tablet PC and disconnect all cables before moving it. Follow the steps
below if you want to travel with your Tablet PC.
Attention
1. Turn off the Tablet PC and disconnect from wall outlets.
2. Shut down the LCD Screen.
3. Disconnect from AC power.
4. Disconnect all accessories.
5. Place the Tablet PC in a carrying case to protect it from dirt, water, shock and
scratches before traveling.
6. Find out the voltage type in the countries you will visit. Your Tablet PC comes with a
universal AC-DC adapter, so you only need to buy the different power cords to
connect the different outlets or the hotel may provide universal outlets to support
your power cord as well as voltages.
If you drive your car with the Tablet PC, DO NOT leave the Tablet PC facing
the sun. Place it in the shady and cool area.
DO NOT remove the HDD immediately while or after operating. Set the Tablet
PC into the Standby mode or Hibernation mode, before moving it.
The Internet connection \ will be interrupted when the system enters
hibernation mode.

4 Getting Started
Connecting the Power Adapter
The Tablet PC comes with a universal AC-DC adapter and the allowable input
voltage of adapter is from 100V to 240V.
Following the below steps to connect the adapter:
1. Connect the adapter with the power cord.
2. Plug the DC end of adapter into the power jack of the Tablet PC.
3. Insert the AC end to the wall outlet
4. Check the connections above correctly before turning on the Tablet PC.
DO NOT remove the Tablet PC if the HDD is being read or written, this
may result in the loss of data and the damage to the disk.
Your Tablet PC and the accessories may differ from the pictures shown.

5 Using Your Tablet PC
5-1 Turning on the Tablet PC
Press the POWER button to turn on the Tablet PC.
5-2 Notebook Manager Setting
5-2-1 Camera and Wifi setting
You can enable/disable the camera, wifi function or manually adjust volume and
brightness in Notebook Manager-〉Common.
5-2-2 G-sensor and Light-sensor setting
To activate the screen-revolve via G-sensor, click the icon
on the panel to select Notebook Manager-〉Advanced,
as shown right:
¾Ticking the frame of the option “Auto Rotate Screen”
to activate G-sensor;
¾Check the “Auto Brightness Adjust” box to activate
the light sensor; However, do not check the box if you
have manually adjusted the brightness
Or cancel selection to disable the function.
When the G-sensor is enabled, the screen will rotate a full 360 degrees. See below
(rotating clockwise):

5-3 System Connection
The Notebook includes the mini-VGA port for connecting External Monitor or TV via
mini-VGA transfer cable.
5-3-1 Connecting an external VGA monitor
Connect one end of mini-VGA transfer cable
to the VGA port of the unit, the other end
with VGA cable to the VGA port of the
device, as shown right:
After connecting, switch the external display
to be VGA mode.
While connecting external digital television via VGA port, you can
select the display mode in Notebook Manager.
5-3-2 Connecting Keyboard and Mouse
The Tablet PC has an integrated virtual screen keyboard. If you want to use the external
keyboard or mouse, connect the external keyboard and external mouse using the USB
ports.
When you disconnect the external keyboard or external mouse from the
computer, grasp the connector, not the cable itself, and pull firmly but
gently to avoid damaging the cable.
5-3-3 Connecting Audio Device
The Tablet PC can be connected to
headphones or stereo speakers, and a
microphone.

The internal speakers will turn off automatically after connecting external
headphones to the Tablet PC. Excessively loud volume could damage your
hearing. Lower the volume before connecting earphones, and then raise the
volume to comfortable level.
5-4 Keyboard Usage
If the onscreen keyboard is not visible, Click Start-〉All Programs
-〉Accessories-〉Ease of Access-〉On-Screen Keyboard to activate the virtual
keyboard.
5-5 Card Reader Usage
The Tablet PC has a single built-in memory card reader that can read the following
flash memory cards: Secure Digital, Multimedia Card. See the manual of the relevant
card for more information.
5-6 The Memory Card
Insert she Memory Card
The card only can be inserted in one orientation (with the card’s electrical contacts
towards the bottom of the unit). Using force to insert the card may in result in damage to
the card or to the Tablet PC.
Pull out the Memory Card
Stop the card’s operation, and then pull the card out from the port.

6 Internet Connection
6-1 Connect with the network via Wired LAN
Before connecting to the network, ensure your
network is set up correctly, then connect your
network cable to your Tablet PC.
The WINDOWS 7 OS comes with most networking protocols installed automatically,
such as TCP/IP. However, you still may have to set the configuration for the specified
Network IP and other settings manually.
Some applications may need to be run with administrator credentials.
1. Right click Network-〉Properties -〉
Network and Sharing Center:
2. Click Local Connection -〉General-〉Properties -〉Local Area Connection
Properties. On the window, select Internet Protocol Version4 (TCP/IPv4) -〉
Properties to enter the menu as below:
3. On the menu, you need to input the IP addresses, subnet masks, default gateway,
DNS and etc, then click “OK” to finish setting. The system will start connecting to
the network.

6-2 Wireless LAN
Your Tablet PC comes with a built-in Wifi wireless card that you can activate/de-
activate using the Notebook Manager-〉Common-〉 Wireless LAN Enabled.
Left click the icon and it will display the list of currently
available networks as shown right:
The system will continue to auto search the available
networks from which you can select the desired one;
Check “Connect automatically” box and click “Connect” so
that the system will auto connect the next time it turns on.
If it connects successfully, it will display the related
information on the screen.
Some networks may require a password
If you need to set a new wireless network connection, double click
the desired network name on the list.
With the following operation, you can set the static IP address for wireless network.
1. Right click Network -〉Properties -〉 Network and Sharing Center, then
select Change adapter settings-〉Network Connections window(it’s available
for setting the static IP Address in local area network connection)-〉right click
Wireless Network Connection-〉Properties to enter the menu as below:
2. In the “Wireless Network Connection Properties”, select Internet Protocal Version
4(TCP/IPv4) -〉Properties to enter the menu as below:

3. In the menu, you need to input the IP addresses, subnet mask, default gateway,
DNS and etc, then click “OK” to finish setting. The system will start connecting to
the network.
Contact your Internet service provider for more information about the settings
for IP and DNS; you also can use the “Internet Protocol Version 6(TCP/IPv6)”
with the above steps.
6-3 PPPoE
If you need to go online via dial-up setting for PPPoE, please refer to the below:
1. In the window ”Network and Sharing Center”, select Setup a new connection or
network -〉Connect to the Internet, as shown below:
2. Click Next.

3. Click Broadband(PPPOE).
4. Enter your User name and Password and click “Connect” to finish.
For connecting a dial-up VPN network, you can refer to the above details.
6-4 3G Wireless Network (Optional)
The Tablet PC contains 3G module port, antenna and SIM card plug that you can
install a purchased 3G module (sold separately) Install following the steps outlined
below.
1. Turn off the Tablet PC, remove the back cover A towards the arrow , unscrew the
screws②and remove the back cover B towards the arrow③.
2. Install 3G module on the “Module” position as the following steps:

1. As in Picture 1, plug the reserved 3G antenna into the main
antenna position on the 3G module.
2. Plug one end of the module into the 3G port of the unit as shown
by the arrow and press the module softly toward the unit until it
matches the groove as the shown by the arrow (Picture 2.).
3. Tighten the screw as seen in Picture 3.
4. Close the shield cover and lock the screws as shown in step 1.
5. Insert your SIM card into SIM
card slot of the unit.
6. Click the “Notebook Manager” icon on the panel to enable the 3G Network.
Pay attention to the orientation of the SIM card you would insert, referring to
the direction as showed on the above.
WARNING: Damage caused to the unit during this procedure may void the
warranty of the device.
Don’t remove the SIM card when powered on; be sure to install 3G module
and SIM card when the unit is powered off.
To install the corresponding drive procedure for 3G module and set the related
parameters according to the local service operator; To be sure it has opened
the related service for you SIM card, or you can dial the local service operator
to consult the related items.

7 Enter the BIOS Setup Menu
Connect an external keyboard to enter the BIOS Setup Menu as following steps:
1. Press F2 key quickly during loading the system, the system will then enter “Setup
Utility” as shown below:
2. Press the left/ right direction keys to select “Boot” and press the Enter key to enter
the below menu:
On the menu, press the up/down direction keys to select the startup option and click
F5/F6 button to change the options for the “Boot Type Order” ; press the up/down
direction keys to select the startup options and press the F5/F6 key to change
values of the startup options in “Boot Device Status”.
3. Proceed to press F10 button to save and select “Yes”, then press the Enter key to
save the setting and exit the system as shown below:

Press the F9 key to setup defaults and select “Yes” to confirm.
4. There is no need to change the startup order and click F12 directly to select the
temporary startup option after turning on the unit.
The BIOS version will be updated occasionally. If there is difference from the
manual, please be aware, options may be different than presented in the
manual.
8 Appendix
8-1 Troubleshooting
Q1:How do I turn off the Tablet PC when the system has frozen?
A:Press the POWER button and hold 4 to 6 seconds to turn off the Tablet PC.
Q2:Why won’t my Tablet PC turn on?
A:
1. If the power is low, connect it to an electrical outlet.
2. Check that the video display system is not in the external monitor mode.
3. Make sure the power indicator on the adapter turns on and the adapter functions
properly.
4. Remove USB and SD cards, and unplug all accessories, then try again.
Q3:My Tablet PC has gotten wet! What do I do?
A:
1. DO NOT turn on the Tablet PC.
2. Disconnect the adapter cable, then press the POWER button to turn off it.
Disconnect all external devices.
3. Tilt the device to pour excess water from the Tablet PC. Use a soft paper towel or
cloth to wipe the surface of the Tablet PC lightly.
4. Use a fan to dry the Tablet PC and the accessories, and then send to the service
center for repair.
