Important Safety Instructions
The manufacturer/supplier accepts no liability for damage arising from:
• Incorrect installation
• Alterations to product post factory
• Any use not intended or described within this manual/guide
Safety Instructions
• Carefully check the JKF50 for damage when unpacking and prior to installation
• Once unpacked the refrigerator must be kept upright, on a level surface,
for a minimum of 6 hours prior to installation
• The JKF50 must be adequately ventilated to allow for heat dissipation –
see installation for spatial requirements
• The JKF50 must remain in a dry environment and must not be exposed to sources of water
• The JKF50 must not be exposed to sources of heat or naked flames; including but not
limited to direct sunlight, gas hobs/ovens, heaters etc
• Do not use the JKF50 to store any items with explosive properties or flammable
propellents such as aerosol or spray cans
• Ensure the correct voltage supply in line with JKF50 product specification
• The JKF50 must be adequately fixed in accordance with the installation instructions
to maintain stability
• The JKF50 must remain in a vertical upright position at all times when running.
The tilt angle must be less than 5° for long time running and less than 45° for
short time running
• The JKF50 is not designed to suit any modifications or repairs; any modifications
or repairs may be hazardous to the user
• Before connecting or starting the JKF50 carefully check that the plug and power
supply cable are dry and free from moisture
• Installation in conjunction with a DC current in a boat setting must be carried out
by a qualified electrician
• Children must be properly supervised when using the JKF50 to ensure its proper, safe use

compliance with information provided within this guide could result in the malfunction
of your refrigerator and potential injury for yourself or others.

The JKF50 Fridge is designed for cooling and
freezing food and drink items within motorhomes,
campervans, boats and caravans.

1. Please refer and adhere to the Safety
Instructions prior toinstallation.
(See page 1)
2. The cabinet into which the fridge will be
sited must allow for adequate ventilation.
The internal dimensions of this should
allow for a minimum of 20mm space at
the rear and top of the refrigerator and
10mm side space. The internal cabinet
dimensions should be 580mm (wide)
730mm (high) 700mm (deep). The fridge
should be kept on level horizontal surface
and away from heat sources.

Installation
NB: It is highly recommended that the installation of the JKF50 is carried out by an
appropriately qualified person.

4. Push the fridge carefully into the cabinet; using caution to avoid scratching the floor.
5. Mount the fridge within the cabinet wall: remove the blanking covers on the inside
of the refrigerator wall (x4)
6. Drill a hole in each screw holder through the side metal panel and fix into place with
suitable screws (x4, not supplied). Return the blanking covers to cover the screw holes.
7. Prior to switching on: check power supply voltage and operating voltage match and
ensure wiring is protected from heat exposure or sharp objects.

Function & Operation
Freezing room temperature
setting mode (Fr)
DISPLAY SCREEN INITIALISATION
The JKF50 features a removeable
freezer section.
Freezer Section Required:
Temperature selection should be Fr
(Freezing room temperature setting
mode). This will control the temperature
of both Freezer and Refrigerator at
separate chilling levels.
Freezer Section Removed:
Temperature selection should be rE
(Refrigerator temperature setting mode).
This will maintain a refrigerator setting
for the whole compartment.
Do not select Fr setting when Freezer
compartment is removed as this will chill
the unit to a Freezer temperature setting.
NOTES ON TEMPERATURE SETTINGS
AND FREEZER COMPARTMENT REMOVAL
TEMPERATURE UNIT SETTING
1. Press button to turn on/off fridge. 1. Press button to switch off fridge.

temperature settings for
refrigerator and freezer.
2. Press and hold Settings button for
3 seconds until “E1” shows on the
screen.
3. Press Settings button repeatedly
until “E5” shows on the screen.

Refrigerator temperature

1. When fridge is on press and hold Settings
button for 3 seconds until the display
begins flashing.
Mode Selection
The default setting is “High”, recommended
when fridge is powered by Car Battery.
When the fridge is powered by a portable
or built in battery it is recommended that
you switch to either “Medium” or “Low”
protection mode.
2. Press Settings button to select the
desired Battery Protection Mode.

• Unplug the fridge to avoid electric shock
• Use a clean damp cloth to wipe clean the JKF50 interior
• Do not use abrasive cleaning products as this may damage the unit
• Use a clean dry cloth to wipe away any moisture residue post cleaning
If your JKF50 will not be in use for an extended period of time you should:
• Turn off the power and remove the plug
• Remove all food and drink items from the JKF50
• Wipe away any excess moisture
• Store the JKF50 in a cool dry place
• Store with door left ajar to prevent odour
Humidity can form frost in the interior of your JKF50. This could result in reduced cooling
capacity and reduced energy eciency. Defrost as required.
• Switch off your JKF50
• Remove all contents
• Keep the door open
• Thoroughly wipe away defrosted water
NB: Never use hard or pointed objects to remove or loosen ice frozen in place
• Please dispose of any packaging material using the appropriate recycling services
• If you wish to finally dispose of your JKF50 please seek guidance from your
local recycling centre

Troubleshooting
ISSUES SUGGESTIONS
Refrigerator does
not work
Check if the switch is on.
Check if the plug and socket are connected.
Check the fuse.
Check if the power supply has a malfunction.
Switching the JKF50 on/off frequently may delay the start of the compressor.
Refrigerator
compartments
are too warm
Ensure the door is kept closed when and not frequently opened.
Do not use the refrigerator to store/chill hot /warm foods. Wait for the
refrigerator to reach its selected temperature.
If the refrigerator has recently been disconnected for a period of time it will
need time to reach the selected temperature.
Food is frozen The temperature has been set too low, please increase the temperature.
If the freezer compartment has been removed temperature selection should
be rE. See Function & Operation section for further details.
There is a "water flow"
type of noise from
inside the fridge
This is a normal phenomenon, caused by the flow of refrigerant.
There are water
drops around the
refrigerator casing or
door gap
This is normal, the moisture will condense to water when it touches a cold
surface of the refrigerator. Wipe away with a dry cloth.
The compressor is
slightly noisy when
starting
This is normal. The noise will be reduced after the compressor stabilizes.
Code Fl displayed Possible cause: low voltage to fridge.
Adjust the battery protection from H to M or from M to L.
Code Fl displayed Possible cause: condenser fan is overloaded.
Disconnect power to fridge for 30 minutes & re-start.
Code F2 displayed Possible cause: the compressor starts too frequently.
Disconnect power to fridge for 30 minutes & re-start.
Code F3 displayed Possible cause: compressor not kicking in.
Disconnect power to fridge for 30 minutes & re-start.
Code F4 displayed Possible cause: overheating of the compressor & electronics.
Disconnect power to fridge for 30 minutes & re-start.
Code F5 displayed Possible cause: no parameter can be detected by the controller.
Disconnect power to fridge for 30 minutes & re-start.
Code F7 or F8
displayed
Possible cause: temperature sensor is faulty.
Contact supplier for assistance.
