It is essential that instruction manual is read before
the power tool is operated for the rst time.
Always keep this instruction manual with the power
tool.
Ensure that the instruction manual is with the power
tool when it is given to other persons.
1.General Power Tool Safety Warnings
WARNING! Read all safety
warning and all instructions.
Failure to follow the warnings and
Instructions may result in electric shock, re and/or
serious injury.
Save all warnings and instructions for future
reference.
The term “power tool” in the warnings refers to your
mains-operated (corded) power tool or Battery-
operated (cordless) power tool.
1) Work area safety
a) Keep work area clean and well lit.
Cluttered or dark areas invite accidents.
b) Do not operate power tools in explosive
atmospheres, such as in the presence of
ammable liquids, gases or dust.
Power tools create sparks which may ignite
the dust or fumes.
c) Keep children and bystanders away
while operating a power tool.
Distractions can cause you to lose
control.
2) Electrical safety
a) Power tool plugs must match the outlet.
Never modify the plug in any way. Do not
use any adapter plugs with earthed
(grounded) power tools.
Unmodied plugs and matching outlets will
reduce risk of electric shock.
b) Avoid body contact with earthed or
grounded surfaces, such as pipes,
radiators, ranges and refrigerators.
There is an increased risk of electric shock if
your body is earthed or grounded.
c) Do not expose power tools to rain or
wet conditions.
Water entering a power tool will Increase
the risk of electric shock.
d) Do not abuse the cord. Never use the cord
for carrying, pulling or unplugging the
power tool. Keep cord away from heat, oil,
sharp edges or moving parts.
Damaged or entangled cords increase the risk
of electric shock.
e) When operating a power tool outdoors, use
an extension cord suitable for outdoor use.
Use of a cord suitable for outdoor use reduces
the risk of electric shock.
f) If operating a power tool in a damp location
is unavoidable, use residual current device
(RCD) protected supply.
Use of an RCD reduces the risk of electric
shock.
3) Personal safety
a) Stay alert, watch what you are doing and
use common sense when operating a
power tool. Do not use a power tool while
you are tired or under the inuence of
drugs, alcohol or medication.
A moment of inattention while operating power
tools may result in serious personal injury.
b) Use personal protective equipment.
Always wear eye protection.
Protective equipment such as dust mask,
non-skid safety shoes, hard hat, or
hearing protection used for appropriate
conditions will reduce personal injuries.
c) Prevent unintentional starting. Ensure the
switch is in the o position before
connecting to power source and/or battery
pack, picking up or carrying the tool.
Carrying power tools with your nger on the
switch or energising power tools that have the
switch on invites accidents.
d) Remove any adjusting key or wrench
before turning the power tool on.
A wrench or a key left attached to a rotating
part of the power tool may result in personal
injury.
e) Do not overreach. Keep proper footing
and balance at all times.
This enables better control of the power tool in
unexpected situations.
f) Dress properly. Do not wear loose clothing
or jewellery. Keep your hair, clothing and
gloves away from moving parts.
Loose clothes, jewellery or long hair can be
caught in moving parts.
g) If devices are provided for the connection
of dust extraction and collection facilities,
ensure these are connected and properly
used.
Use of dust collection can reduce dust-related
hazards.

4) Power tool use and care
a) Do not force the power tool. Use the
correct power tool for your application.
The correct power tool will do the job better and
safer at the rate for which it was designed.
b) Do not use the power tool if the switch
does not turn it on and o.
Any power tool that cannot be controlled with
the switch is dangerous and must be repaired.
c) Disconnect the plug from the power
source and/or the battery pack from
the power tool before making any
adjustments, changing accessories,
or storing power tools.
Such preventive safety measures reduce
the risk of starting the power tool
accidentally.
d) Store idle power tools out of the reach of
children and do not allow persons
unfamiliar with the power tool or these
instructions to operate the power tool.
Power tools are dangerous in the hands of
untrained users.
e) Maintain power tools. Check for
misalignment or binding of moving parts,
breakage of parts and any other condition
that may aect the power tools operation.
If damaged, have the power tool repaired
before use.
Many accidents are caused by poorly
maintained power tools.
f) Keep cutting tools sharp and clean.
Properly maintained cutting tools with sharp
cutting edges are less likely to bind and are
easier to control.
g) Use the power tool, accessories and tool
bits etc., in accordance with these
instructions, taking into account the
working conditions and the work to be
performed.
Use of the power tool for operations dierent
from those intended could result in a hazardous
situation.
5) Service
a) Have your power tool serviced by a
qualied repair person using only identical
replacement parts.
This will ensure that the safety of the power
tool is maintained.
The use of any accessory or attachment, other
than those recommended in the instruction
manual, may present a risk of personal injury.
2.Hammer Safety Warnings
a) Wear ear protectors
Exposure to noise can cause hearing
loss.
b) Wear a dust mask.
c) Use auxiliary handle(s), if supplied with
the tool.
Loss of control can cause personal injury.
d) Hold power tool by insulated gripping
surfaces, when performing an operation
where the cutting accessory may contact
hidden wiring or its own cord.
Cutting accessory contacting a "live" wire may
make exposed metal parts of the power tool
"live" and could give the operator an electric
shock.
e) Use appropriate detectors to determine if
utility lines are hidden in the work area or
call the local utility company for assistance.
Contact with electric lines can lead to re and
electric shock. Damaging a gas line can lead
to explosion. Penetrating a water line causes
property damage.
f) Switch o the power tool immediately when
the tool insert jams. Be prepared for high
reaction torque that can cause kickback.
The tool insert jams when:
- the power tool is subject to overload or
- it becomes wedged in the work piece.
g) When working with the machine, always
hold it rmly with both hands and provide
for a secure stance.
The power tool is guided more secure with both
hands.
h) Secure the workpiece.
A work piece clamped with clamping devices
or in a vice is held more secure than by hand.
i) Always wait until the machine has come to
a complete stop before placing it down.
The tool insert can jam and lead to loss of
control over the power tool.

an BS 1363/A approved electric plug with
internal fuse (ASTA approved to BS 1362).
If the plug is not suitable for your socket
outlets, it should be o cut and an appropriate
plug tted in its place by an authorised
customer service agent. The replacement plug
should have the same fuse rating as the
original plug.

The severed plug must be disposed of to avoid
a possible shock hazard and should never be
inserted into a mains socket elsewhere.
- Only for AUS and NZ Market: Use a residual
current device (RCD) with a rated residual
current of 30 mA or less.
3.Check before Use
While reading the operating instructions, unfold the
graphics page for the machine and leave it open.

4. The switch
Make sure the switch trigger is returned to its original
position by pushing it.
5. Extension Cord
Extended power cord may be used when the power
supply is located in a distant position, however its
length and thickness should be such that electric
current is not reversely aected. Too long or thin
power cord will cause too much voltage drop and
weakened motor driving force. Use a short power
cord as far as possible.
6. Power Supply Check
You must use the tool in the power source specied
in the nameplate.When you use the tool for
110-127V~ in 220-240V~, the speed of the motor
will be increased abnormally.
In result, the Hammer drill bit and the tool may be
damaged.

and stone is carried out, be sure to attach the
side handle for safety before starting operation.
Be sure to wear protective gloves for changing
hot tool bit during operation.
Be sure to put o the switch and unplug power
cord before attaching or detaching a tool bit.

6.Assembly
1. Rotating the Side Handle and
Adjusting Stopper
For convenience in operation, assemble the side
handle at the front of too and perform.
Rotating the Side Handle
1.Turn the side handle counterclockwise to unfasten
the band and band holder.
2.Turn the side handle to a desired position.
3.Turn the side handle clockwise to completely
xed.
Adjusting Stopper Position
1. Press the button of stopper holder and insert the
stopper into the band holder.
2.The knurled surface of the stopper must face on
one side.
3. Make adjustment such to let the stopper move
into desired position. (When stopper is used,
boring to the extent as clearance between the drill
bit and stopper is available.)
Left-hander should assemble the side handle in
reverse direction and position before starting
operation.
2. Attaching and Detaching Tool Bit
Attaching and Detaching SDS-plus Bit
1.Wipe the bit and insert clean and coat grease
before attaching it.
2. Check dust cover for clean. Change the dust over
with new one if it is broken and clean it.
3. After inserting the bit, turn to a position you hear
click.
4. After attaching the bit, test to pull into out to check
for rm attachment.
5.To detach the bit, turn the retainer in direction of
arrow and remove.
Changing the Drill Chuck
For drilling in wood, metal, ceramic and plastic as
well as or screw driving and thread cutting, a
suitable drill chuck with SDS-plus shank must be
mounted.
1.Wipe the bit and insert clean and coat grease
before attaching it.
2. Check dust cover for clean. Change the dust over
with new one if it is broken and clean it.
3. After inserting the drill chuck, turn to a position
you hear click.
4. After attaching the drill chuck, test to pull into out
to check for rm attachment.
5.To detach the drill chuck, turn the retainer in
direction of arrow and remove.
7.Operating Instructions

1. RIGHT ROTATION :Turn the reverse knob
direction to the stop in position
2. LEFT ROTATION :Turn the reverse knob
direction to the stop in Position
Be sure to change rotational direction only in static
condition.
Abuse changing operation may cause broken tool.

2. Adjusting RPM
The trigger switch allows the speed to be
increased up to Maximum.
1. Light pressure on the trigger switch results in low
speed rate.
2. Further pressure on the trigger switch increases
the speed rate.
3. Safety Clutch
The safety clutch will actuate when a certain torque
level is reached.The motor will disengaged from
the output shaft.When this happens, the bit will stop
turning.The feature prevents the gearing and motor
form stalling.
4. Operating Mode
The operating mode of the tool is selected with the
change lever.
1.To drill into stone and concrete and the like, position
the change lever in “Hammer Drilling” mode as
illustrated in the Figure 10.
In “Hammer Drilling” mode, the tool makes drilling
and blowing at the simultaneously.
Use drill bit for “Hammer Drilling” mode.
2. For chiseling and breaking operation, position the
change lever in “hammer” mode as illustrated in
the gure 11. In “Hammering” mode, the tool
makes only blowing operation without revolution
of bit. Use bull point or chisel for operation in
“Hammering” mode.
3. For drilling or tapping into wood, metal or plastic
materials, position the change lever in “drilling”
mode as illustrated in Figure 12. In “Drilling” mode
the tool makes only drilling without blowing.
Use the drill chuck with SDS-plus Shank for
“Drilling” Mode.
5. Adjusting Chisel Angle
When performing chisel operation, chisel angle can
be set at 32.7�/11 for convenience. To change bit
angle, put change lever in “ ” and turn the bit
clockwise or counterclockwise to a position. When
performing plain chisel operation, recover the change
lever to “Hammer” mode again after adjusting angle,
and then start operation.
8.Maintenance
1. Checking the Tool (bit)
Using the worn-o bit will cause overloading the
motor and reduce work eciency. Either sharpen the
tool or replace with a new one.
2. Checking the Screws
Check if any screw is loosened. Loosened screw
must be tightened rmly.
3. Grease
For remarkably decrease of the drill speed, check
grease and change it, if necessary. Only grease
for the hammer drill recommended by authorized
Keyang Service Center should be used.
4. Carbon Brush
Disposable carbon brush is used in the motor.
Heavily worn carbon brush may result in motor
failure. Replace the worn carbon brush with new
one.
5. Storing after Use
6. X attachment cord
If the supply cord of this power tool is damaged, it
must be replaced by a specially prepared cord
available through the service organization.
7. Cleaning
For safe and proper working, always keep the
machine and ventilation slots clean.
8. After-sales Service and Customer
Assistance
Our after-sales service responds to your questions
concerning maintenance and repair of your product
as well as spare parts.
Disconnect the plug from the power supply
before making maintenance.
Store the tool in a dry place out of reach of the
children.
As soon as the safety clutch actuates, switch
o the tool immediately
