Use of extens on cords

an xt nsion cord. How v r, if you must us an xt nsion cord, it is absolut ly n c ssary that it is a UL-
list d (in th Unit d Stat s) or a CSA-list d (in Canada), 3-wir grounding typ applianc xt nsion cord
having a grounding typ plug and outl t and that th l ctrical rating of th cord is 15 amp r s (mini-
mum) and 120 volts.

INSTALLATION
• Choos a location wh r th r is an l ctrical outl t within r ach of th pow r cord. Th r must b
at l ast 5” (127 mm) cl aranc around th unit to nsur prop r v ntilation. Avoid locations in dir ct
sunlight, moist or xtr m cold ar as.
• B for conn cting th applianc to th pow r sourc , l t it stand upright for approximat ly
2 hours. This will r duc th possibility of a malfunction in th cooling syst m from handling
during transportation.
• Cl an th int rior surfac with luk warm wat r using a soft cloth.
OPERATING INSTRUCTIONS
Th pr s t t mp ratur at th factory is 50ºF (10°C) and it will show on th display wh n you pr ss
th UP and DOWN buttons for th first tim . Th win cool r should b plac d wh r th ambi nt t m-
p ratur is b tw n 59° to 77°F (15 to 25 ºC). If th ambi nt t mp ratur is abov or b low this rang ,
th p rformanc of th unit may b aff ct d. For xampl , placing your unit in xtr m cold or hot con-
ditions may caus int rior t mp ratur s to fluctuat .
• To turn ON/OFF th applianc , pr ss th ON/OFF button.
• Th t mp ratur pr s t at th factory is 50°F (10°C).
• You can turn th int rior light on or off by pushing th ‘LIGHT’ button.
• Mak sur th unit is unlock d. Th lock/unlock k y - Wh n you pr ss and h ar 2 short “b ps” this
m ans that th board is lock d if you pr ss th ‘LOCK’ for on s cond and h ar a long “b p” th
board will unlock.
• This unit has th option to display t mp ratur s in ith r C lsius or Fahr nh it. To chang
th s tting of th unit from °F to °C (or vic v rsa) pr ss simultan ously th ‘ON/OFF’ and ‘LOCK’
buttons for 3 s conds.
• S t th d sir d cooling t mp ratur by pr ssing th button ‘UP’ or ‘DOWN’ to s t your d sir d t m-
p ratur . Each d pr ssion of th buttons will scroll through th availabl t mp ratur s ttings in
incr m nts of 1 d gr .
• For sparkling win th t mp ratur should b s t b tw n 45°-47° F (7°-8 °C)
• For whit win th t mp ratur should b s t b tw n 48°-54° F (9°-12 °C)
• For r d win th t mp ratur should b s t b tw n 55°-65° F (13°-18 °C)
NOTES
• If th unit is unplugg d, pow r loss, or turn d off, you must wait 3 to 5 minut s b for r starting. If
you att mpt to r start b for this int rval th Win Cool r will not start.
• Wh n you us th win Cool r for th first tim or r start th win Cool r aft r having b n shut off
for a long tim , th r could b a f w d gr s varianc b tw n th t mp ratur you s l ct and th
on indicat d on th LED r adout. This is normal and it is du to th l ngth of th activation tim .
Onc th win Cool r is running for a f w hours v rything will r turn to normal.

and ambi nt conditions.

TROUBLESHOOTING GUIDE
CLEANING YOUR WINE COOLER
• Turn off th pow r, unplug th applianc , and r mov all it ms including sh lv s and rack.
• Wash th insid surfac s with warm wat r and baking soda solution. Th solution should b about
2 tabl spoons of baking soda with a quart of wat r.
• Wash th sh lv s with a mild d t rg nt solution.
• Wring xc ss wat r out of th spong or cloth wh n cl aning ar a of th controls, or any
l ctrical parts.
• Wash th outsid cabin t with warm wat r and mild liquid d t rg nt. Rins w ll and wip dry with a
cl an soft cloth.
POWER FAILURE
Most pow r failur s ar corr ct d within a f w hours and should not aff ct th t mp ratur of your
applianc if you minimiz th numb r of tim s th door is op n d. If th pow r is going to b off for
a long r p riod of tim , you n d to tak th prop r st ps to prot ct your cont nts.
VACATION TIME

• Long vacations: If th applianc will not b us d for s v ral months, r mov all it ms and turn off
th applianc . Cl an and dry th int rior thoroughly. To pr v nt door and mold growth, l av th door

MOVING YOUR WINE COOLER
