Safe ty ins truc tions for use
Read all instructions and ex planations of the installat ion before use. Follow the inst ructions carefully. Keep the op erating instructions
handy for later use. If the applia nce is sold or passed on then ensure that the new owner always rec eives these operating instructions.
The following warnings must be s trictly observ ed for safety reasons. T hey must be read before inst alling the appliance and put ting it
into operation.
• Intended use: T his appliance has bee n designed exclusivel y for use in dry-interior h ouseholds. It has not bee n designed for use in comme rcial or industrial
applicat ions, (for example, Beaut y salons Laundromats et c). Use the app liance only with co ld drinking grade wate r and only for washing tex tiles with
washing dete rgents designed for wa shing machines. Ever y other use is improper and m ay lead to injuries, where by the liability of t he manufacturer will
cease.
• This applia nce may only be used by adu lts. Do not allow children to t ouch the controls or to p lay with the product.
• This applia nce is not intended for use b y persons (including c hildren) with reduced p hysical, sensory o r mental capabili ties, or lack of experienc e and
knowledg e,un less they have been gi ven supervision o r instruction con cerning use of the app liance by a person respo nsible for their safet y.
• Never modif y the appliance as t his is dangerous.
• This applia nce is heavy. Transport wi th care and ensure tha t the transit bolts a re re fitted during th e machines deliver y to any new location.
• Remove all pac kaging and transpo rt bolts before using t he appliance. Other wise serious dam age may result.
• All instal lation work must be ca rried out by a qualifie d fitter or technicia n.
• Have electr ical connection s done by a qualified elec trician.
• Never place t he appliance on the p ower cord.
• If the appli ance is placed on a car pet then place the feet so t hat air can circulate u nderneath the app liance.
• Always unp lug the machine and tur n off the water suppl y after use. Disconnec t appliance by pulling o nly the plug - never disc onnect by pulling the po wer
cord. Never touc h the plug with wet finge rs or hands.
• Do not overload t he appliance.
• Wash only mach ine-washable textil es. If you have doubts regard ing this, then obser ve the markings on t he label.
• Never place e lectrical heater s, candles etc. in the vici nity of the applian ce. They could cause th e appliance to ignite o r parts to warp.
• Protect the ap pliance from wet and dam p.O therwise, there is d anger of electric sho ck and fire.
• Connect th e appliance to a suita ble wall socket for 240V. Never use an exte nsion cord or double ada pter.
• Empty all po ckets. Hard or sharp obj ects such as coins, need les, nails, screws or stone s may cause serious da mage. Unbalanced mas s may create heavy
vibration s. If heavy vibration s remain also withou t load, call for an author ized customer ser vice.
• Do not wash or dr y articles tha t have been cleaned in, was hed in, soaked in, or dabbed w ith combustible or ex plosive substanc es (such as wax, oil, paint,
gasoline, degre asers, dry-cleani ng solvents, kerosene, etc.). This may re sult in fire or explosion.
• Do not spray or us e stain remover product s near or directly on t he machine as it can dama ge the machines finish.
• Never inser t products coated wi th mineral oils (e.g. nylon coat ing, plastic belts, etc. ) into t he machine. If a stain remov er has been used then ma ke sure
that the sol vent has been careful ly washed out before inse rting the clothe s into the appliance. Oil m ay remain in the tub af ter a whole cycle result ing in fire
during dr ying.
• Do not operate t he appliance at locat ions where flammable su bstances are prese nt such as oil, benzene or high ly inflammable gas. Such m aterials may
cause fire or exp losion. Never use combu stible detergents.
• Only add the p rescribed amount of sof tener. Excessive amou nts may damage or stain t he clothes.
• After was hing, keep the drum door op en to protect the door sea l.
• There may be a da nger of scalding.
• Animals an d children may get into the wa shing machine. So always c heck the appliance b efore using it.
• During was hing, the glass door bec omes very hot. Keep child ren away from the applia nce when in operation.
• Never tr y to repair the machine yo urself. Incorrect repai rs may result in injurie s and/or serious defect s to the machine.
• The product s hould be serviced a nd repaired only by the au thorised custome r service using or iginal replacement pa rts.
• When dispos ing of your old machine, the pow er cable must be capp ed or cut off, and the door lo ck must be made unusabl e in order to protect children.
• When placing o n a carpeted floor, make sure th at the opening in the soc ket is not blocked.
• If the appli ance has been under wate r then contact the cu stomer service. Do not u se the machine as it may im pose an electric sho ck or fire hazard.
• The lower filte r cover as well as the dis penser drawer may not be ope ned during the operat ion.
• Keep all wash ing powder and detergent s away from children. There i s a danger of poisoning.

• The appliance is fitted with t ransit bolts to prevent internal
damage during transpor t. Be careful, heavy load!
• Packing and all transit bolts must b e removed before using
the washing machine.
• When unpacking the base, be sure to remove th e additional
packing support in th e middle of the base packing.
Store original packing fo r future move.
Dispose of packing materia l according to local regulations.
Unscrew the 4 bolts
using the spanner
supplied.
Keep the 4 bolts and the spanner for the future use. Refit transit bolts before transporting the appliance.
Level floor: Permiss ible floor gradient under entire washing machine
is 1˚ .
Power socket: Must b e within 100 cm of either side of location of
washing machine. Do not overload the so cket with more than one
appliance.
Additional Cle arance: For wall, floor and door space is ne eded.
(10cm: rear / 2cm:right & left side). Do not place or st ore laundry pro-
ducts on top of the washing machine a t any times. They can damage
the finish or controls of the machin e.
1. Do not use an extension cord or double adapter.
2. Have damaged supply cords replaced by the manufacturer or its service agents or a similarly qualified person
to prevent danger.
3. Always unplug the machine and turn off the water supply after use.
4. Connect the machine to an earthed socket inaccordance with current wiring regulations.
5. The appliance must be positioned so that the plug is easily accessible.
• Repairstothewashingmachinemustonlybecarriedoutbyqualifiedpersonnel.Repairscarriedoutbyinexpe -
rienced persons may cause injury or serious malfunctioning. Contact your local service centre.
• Donotinstallyourwashingmachineinroomswheretemperaturebelowfreezingmayoccur.Frozenhosesmayburst
under pressure. The electronic control unit may become unreliable at temperatures below freezing point.
• Iftheapplianceisdeliveredinthewintermonthsandtemperaturesarebelowfreezing:Leavethewashingmachine
standing at room temperature for a few hours before putting it into operation.
• Two rubber seals are supplied w ith the water inlet
hoses. They are used for preve nting water leaks.
• Make sure the conn ection to taps is tight enough.
• Periodically c heck the condition of the hose and
replace the hose if necess ary.
• Make sure that ther e is no kink on the hose and
that it is not crushed.
When your washing ma chine has two valves:
• If the washing machin e has two valves, power
saving is achieved through using hot valv e.
Water supply pressure must be bet ween 1.0-8 bar (100kPa~800kPa )
Don’t strip or crossthre ad when connecting inlet hose to the valve.
If the water supply pressure i s more than 800kPa, a decompressi on
device should be installed.
• Proper level-adjustment of the washing ma-
chine prevents excessive noise and v ibration.
Install the appliance on a s olid and level floor
surface, preferably in a co rner of the room.
• If the floor is uneven, adjust feet as required.
(Do not insert pie ces of wood etc. under the
feet). Make sure that all four feet are s table
and resting on the floor. Then check t hat
the appliance is perfe ctly level. (Use a spirit
level).

infestationorothervermin,payparticularattentiontokeeptheapplianceanditssurroundingsinacleanconditionatalltimes.
Any damage which may be caused by cockroaches or other vermin is not covered by the appliance guarantee.
CAUTION abou t positioning the appliance
Install the washing machine on a flat hard floor. Make sure that aircirculation around the washing machine is
not impeded by carpets, rug etc.
• Never try to correct any unevenness in the floor using pieces of wood, cardboard or similar materials under the washing machine.
• Ifitisnotpossibletopositionthewashingmachineawayfromagascookerorcoalburningstove,aninsulationpanel(85x60cm)
covered with aluminum foil on the side facing the cooker or stove, must be inserted between the two appliances.
• The washing machine must not be installed in rooms where the temperature may drop below 0°C.

CAUTION abou t the floor surface
• The installation surface must be clean, dry and level.
• Install washing machine on a flat hard floor.
• Poorly constructed timber base floors can contribute to excessive noise and vibration.
• Proper placement and levelling of the washing machine ensure long, regular and reliable operation.
• The washing machine must be perfectly level and firmly in position.
• Itmust not “see-saw” across corners under load.
• The installation surface must be clean, free from floor wax and other lubricant coatings.
• Do not allow the feet of the washing machine to get wet. If feet of the washing machine get wet, slipping may occur.

Rattling and cl anking noise Extraneous o bjects such as coins or safety pins maybe in drum or p ump.
Thumping sound Heavy wash load s may produce a thumping sound. This is usually normal.
Vibrating noi se Have all transit bolts and p acking been removed?
Water leaks. Check and tighten hose connections. Uncl og drain pipe. Contact plumber if necessar y.
Excessive suds Too much dete rgent or unsuitable detergent.
Washing machine does n ot start Power cord may not be plugged in or conne ction may be loose.
Washing machine won’t s pin Check that the door is shut .
Check that foreign object s may be blocking the drain causing the water not to drain out .
Door does not ope n Once started, th e door can not be opened for safety reasons.
At the end of the cycle or when St art Pause is pressed, wait one or two minute s before
opening the door to allow the ele ctric locking mechanism time to release.
Troubleshoot ing
• Water supply is not adequate in area
• Water supply taps are not completely
open.
• Water inlet hose(s) are kinked.
• The lter of the inlet hose(s) are clogged.
Check another tap in the house.
Fully open tap.
Straighten hose(s).
Check the filter of the inlet hose(s).
• Drain hose is kinked or clogged.
• The drain lter is clogged.
Clean and straighten the drain hose.
Clean the drain filter.

• Load is too small.
• Load is out of balance.
• The appliance has an unbalance detection
and correction system. If individual heavy
articles are loaded (ex. bath mat, both
robe, etc.), this system may stop spinning
or even interrupt the spin cycle altogether.
• If the laundry is still too wet at the end of
the cycle, add smaller articles of laundry to
balance the load and repeat the spin cycle.
• Floor is unstable.
Feet are not adjusted
Add 1 or 2 similar items to help balance
the load.
Rearrange load to allow proper spinning
The oor should be a solid surface.
Adjust the feet so that the machine
does not rock from side to side or front
to back.
• Is the door opened or not
completely closed?
Close the door completely.
If the “ ” does not clear, call for
service.
Unplug the power plug and call for
service.
• Water overlls due to the faulty water
valve.
Close the water tap.
Unplug the power plug.
Call for service.
Restart the cycle.
• Water level sensor has malfunctioned.
• Over load in motor.
