This Laboratory oven carries the New Zealand Industry standard 12 month return-to-base warranty
It does not cover misuse of the oven or failure to follow the user instructions in this manual
L.I.T. Lab ovens must be kept in an environment with <50% RH to avoid corrosion

Installation
1. Plug the mains power lead into a suitable 220-240 VAC 50HZ 15A single phase mains power wall socket
2. Check inside to ensure that the shelves are placed where you need them to be before switching on
3. Turn on the front control panel power button switch. The black 10A safety cct breaker is next to it
4. Set the desired temperature using the digital temperature controller on the front panel.
5. Then if required, set the digital controller timer to suit your particular application
6. Adjust the "Vent" control using the round knob on the control panel for the desired moisture release
7. To avoid burns do not open the oven door above 50C unless you are wearing safety gloves

Operating instructions
1. Operation
1) When the controller is switched on, the display illuminates all segments for 3 seconds, then briefly flashes
a parameter screen then it starts running the current set parameters.
Press the SET button to set the temperature and then again to set the time
2) When the controller is in the temperature setting mode, the lower window displays the temperature set-
point “SP” and the upper window displays the current oven temperature.
“◄” button: In the setting state, click to shift to the next digit on the left.
“▼” button: In the setting state, click to reduce the set value. If you press and hold this button the set value will
reduce continuously.
”▲” button: In the setting state, click to increase the set value. If you press and hold this button the set value
will increase continuously
3) Press the "Set" button again, and the controller changes to the time setting mode
The upper window displays the time setting symbol “Sr” and the lower window displays the set time,
which is usually set to "0000" (continuous mode) You can adjust the time from 0~9999 mins using the 3
arrow keys. If the time is set to "0000" the timer will simply run continuously and the time will not be
displayed, only the oven temperature and the set temperature will be displayed
“◄” button: In the setting state, click to shift to the next digit on the left.
“▼” button: In the setting state, click to reduce the set value. If you press and hold this button the set value will
reduce continuously.
”▲” button: In the setting state, click to increase the set value. If you press and hold this button the set value
will increase continuously
Press the "Set" button again, the controller will return to the run state with the current temperature
displayed in the upper window and the time displayed in the lower widow.
When a time is selected, the time displayed in "Run" mode in the lower window will remain at "0" until the
oven has reached the temperature set-point, then the time display will increase by 1 min. increments until
the user set time has elapsed.
If there is no operator input for 30s, the controller will auto-quit the above mentioned states and any user
adjusted values will not be saved. When the run-time has elapsed, the upper window of the controller will
display “End” and the buzzer will sound for 30s. The buzzer can be muted by pressing the button “▲”.
When pressing the button “▼” for 3s, the program will restart.
When the Heater is working, the "OUT" indicator pulses on and off (p.i.d. control)
When the Timer is working, the "TIM" indicator illuminates
When the temperature is beyond “SP+AL” then the ALM indicator turns on.

Auto-tuning the controller's internal PID
Only use the auto-tuning function if there is excessive temperature overshoot !
Press the AT button for 5 seconds. then the auto-tune “AT” indicator flashes, after auto-tune
ends, the indicator stops flashing, and the new AT parameter value is saved automatically.
To enable A/T
In stop mode, press the “AT” button for 5 seconds, controller displays the prompt “AT”, adjust the “AT”
display value, then click the “SET” button, if “AT=0”, the controller will return to the normal display.
If “AT=1” you can select the auto-tuning, the controller displays the prompt “ATSP”. After you adjust
the “ATSP” value, then click the “SET” button, tand the controller returns to the normal displayand will
start the auto-tuning. To cancel the auto-tuning press the “AT” button for 5 sec

Internal parameter settings
Press the “Set” button for 3 seconds, controller will display the password prompt “Lc”.
If you want to adjust the password, then press the “Set” button again, it will then go into the internal
parameter setting state. If you press the “Set” button for another 3 seconds, it returns to the run state.

Electrical Safety
To prevent FIRE or SHOCK hazard, DO NOT expose this product to anymoisture
There is a 10A safety circuit breaker on the front panel next to the on/off button
This appliance must be periodically tested according to AS/NZS 3760
Perform a visual check to ensure that there is no mechanical damage to the supply
cord and
that all controls are in good working order and that no parts are missing.
Perform an earth continuity test: the results must be <1 ohm
Perform an insulation resistance test: the results must be >1 megohm
To provide evidence of compliance, a label signed and dated by the person testing the
equipment
may be placed on the tested appliance.
