Installation Guide
PLEASE READ THE INSTRUCTIONS CAREFULLY
The Undercounter Lavatories is ship in a carton box. The
template for cut out is included.
CAUTION: Risk of personal injury or product
damage. Handle with care. Vitreous china can
break or chip if the product is handled carelessly.
. Your new Undercounter lavatory can provide you with years of
service.
. Cleaning should be done on a regular basis.
. Use of scouring powder are not recommended in case of removing
the stain. Wipe all out side surfaces with a soapy water solution and
clean bowl area with a non-abrasive type cleaner.
. Use of cleaners containing chlorine will cause
damage and are not recommended.
Replacement parts should be obtain from Mainline. Please contact our
costumer service for any information and order. Before contacting our
costumer service, please note the model number of lavatories to
obtain immediate solution. You can see your lavatories model number
underneath.
Mainline will not be responsible for any damage in cases of changing
repair parts which are not supplied by us or our representative.

BEFORE YOU BEGIN
Observe all local plumbing and building codes.
Prior the installation, unpack the new lavatory
and inspect it for damage. Return the lavatory to its
protective carton until you are ready to install it.
Inspect the existing drain supply tubing. Replace if
necessary.
Do not substitute another sealant if one is supplied
with this lavatory.
Use the template supplied with the lavatory.
For replacement installations, make sure the existing
cut out in the same size or smaller that needed for the
new lavatory.
Failure to follow these precaution may result in a poor
installation.
Undercounter lavatories should be installed by
experience installers.
Do not use adhesives or adhesive sealant with this
product.
Install so future removal from underneath the
countertop is possible. This will avoid countertop damage.

Install the water supplies (Fig. 1) and drain piping (Fig. 2)
according to roughing-in information.
INSTALLING LAVATORIES
Cut out the template where indicated for the countertop opening.
Cut along the inside of the cutting line. (Fig. 3)
Position the template on the countertop to ensure clearance
between the lavatory, faucet, and backsplash. (Fig.4)
Verify cabinet clearance beneath the countertop.
Trace around the template on the countertop with pencil. (Fig. 4)
Mark the faucet hole centerline on the countertop. (Fig. 4)
PREPARATION
NOTE: You may required different, more specialized tools to install this
lavatory to countertop materials other than wood or wood composites.

INSTALL THE LAVATORY
Cut out the opening carefully following the pencil line traced from
the template. (Fig. 5)

NOTE: The screw and anchors should be used on countertops, with a
minimum 1" (25mm) thickness (not provided). For thinner countertops,
use appropriate anchors and fasteners (not provided).
Mark and pre-drill the wood screw holes at the locations shown
on the template.
Waterproof any exposed areas of wood.
For Wood Countertops
For Marbles/Stone Countertops
Position the countertop upside down on the foam padding to
protect the surface. Mark and drill 3/8" holes 5/8" (16mm) deep at the
locations shown on the template
Use a setting tool and hammer to secure the anchors.
For All Undercounter Installations
If the countertop has not been installed, install it at this time.
Drill the faucet holes according to the faucet installation
instructions.
Install the faucet to the countertop according to the faucet
manufacturer's instructions.

For marble countertops, install the lavatory to the countertop with
the clamps and screws. For other countertop materials, refer to the
countertop manufacturer's instructions for recommendation fasteners.
IMPORTANT
Caution: Risk of personal injury or product
damage. Handle with care. Product can break, chip or
cause injury if handled carelessly. Get help lifting the
lavatory.

INSTALL THE LAVATORY (cont.)
Install the drain to the lavatory according to the drain
manufacturer's instruction.
NOTE: Do not use adhesive or adhesive sealants.
Apply a continuous bead of quality sealant to the top
surface of the lavatory rim where it will contract the
countertop.
IMPORTANT
Caution: Risk of product damage. Overtightening the nuts may cause irreparable damage to the lavatory.
Position the lavatory squarely under the cutout before tightening the clamps. Draw the lavatory rim up against the countertop until
it is snug. Do not overtighten.
Immediately wipe away any excess sealant and fill any voids as needed.
Allow the sealant to set for 30 minutes before proceeding.
Connect and tighten the trap to the drain, and complete the water supply connections to the faucet according to the instructions
packed with the faucet.
Run water into the lavatory and check for leaks.
Clean up with a non-abrasive cleaner.
