General tips for GPS application
The following content are the instructions for GPS device application and operation. Please read this instruction
manual carefully and completely before using the product.
Each GPS device requires stable satellite signals for GPS positioning. Hence, it is important to acquired satellite
signals before the use of the GPS device. Kindly take note that the GPS device will not be able to receive any
signals in an enclosed area such as in a house, carparks surrounded by big buildings, or under overhead
bridges.
Time taken to acquire GPS positioning will be extended during the case of driving. Please search the positioning
signal by stopping your car for a better and safer effect.
While charging the device, please only use the travel charger or car charger equipped by the manufacturer in its
original package. Other chargers may cause damage to this device, and this damage is not covered by our
warranty.

to switch back to GPS application.

Warnings:
Please install the device in a right (appropriate position) way to avoid driver's sight and airbag to be
hindered. Marbella GPS will not be liable or hold any responsibility if any property or loss caused by
mistakes of mounting or installing of the device.
Please not put on earphone and operate the device when you drive to ensure your safety.
Please consult with airline crew for application of the device if you want to use it during flight.
Please keep the device far away from strong magnetic field which may cause damage or malfunction to the
device.
Please refrain the device from being dropped, shocked or scratched on or by hard objects to avoid possible
damages (scratches on the device face, loose contact of the battery, data loss or other hardware part broken)
to the device.
Please not use earphone with a continuous and large volume for long time, set the volume at a moderate
loudness and use it not for a long time to avoid possible damage to your ear audibility.
Please not use chemical solution or cleaner to clean the device to avoid possible damage to the paint and
polish of its surface.
When the device is used as a mobile storage device, please follow right procedures of file management
operation to copy or transfer files. The warranty does not cover any mistake, or damage, or loss of files
Do keep a backup copy of your personal files in the device into your PC or laptop in time
It is prohibited to use higher voltage power supply, to bent or squeeze the power cord with big force so as to
avoid possible damage and overheat resulting in fire
Never use wet hands to pull out or plug in the power plug to avoid possible electric shock
Not use the device in an environment over 60℃, or below -10℃, and with high humidity as well

In this interface, touch the screen or the small icon eg. to enter the specific function.
Secondary UI
In this interface, click the displayed icons on the screen to enter the relevant functions. To return back to previous
page, click on the icon to return.
Battery Status Icon:
Full=======================================>Drained
When the battery is at low power level, please charge it immediately to ensure the device work normally.
Charging:
Warnings for charging:
1. A new battery may be empty and not charged before you get the device.
2. In normal charging with AC charger (Not included in the package), please make sure to charge it for 2 –2.5
hours to get it fully charged.

Note:A new battery will reach its best performance after number cycles of charging and discharging.
If the device is not used for long time, it is better to charge it to full capacityevery 2 or 3 months during storage.
Charger Application:
AC Charger (Not included in the package):
Take out the AC charger, plug it into the wall outlet withAC 220V(100V~240V), then plug in theAC jack into the
device AC-in jack.(see the illustration below).
Car Lighter Charger:
Please insert the car charger into car cigarette lighter jack, then plug into the USB jack(see the illustration below).
Note: When you use car charger, please start car engine first, then connect it to the device to avoid possible damage
to the device due to overloaded pulse current during ignition. Please pull it out when you stop the engine, and plug it
in again after next ignition.
Power On/Offthe device
In power off status, Press on the power switch to turn on the device, then the OSD will be displayed on screen.
Sleeping &Power –off
In power-on mode, press the power button on the device for 3-5 seconds then the sleeping mode or confirmation for
power-off screen will display as follows:
In this UI press the Sleep icon to have the GPS in sleep mode without shutting down.
Click on the Shut icon to shut down the device.

Waking -up from the sleeping
When in sleeping mode, a short press on the power-on button of the device will wake up the system.
Note: When in sleeping mode, all the procedure in operation will pause but will back to normal status after waking up.
GPS Info
Signal check through UI for reset GPS Signal and recapture of Data

On this UI, click icon, to get into GPS information, a screen listed of GPS data shown on screen as shown below:
GPS Searching (Sample) GPS Data Lock (Sample)
When Signal is unstable or unable to detect signal after new update of map, Reset from this UI GPS is require to
reset the data capture.
Multimedia

On this UI, click on to enter into next screen to view the selected function preferred to play.

FM
This feature is designed for transmitting the sound of this device via a set frequency to your car FM radio receiver. It
allows sound to be transmitted to the car audio system. The volume will be determined by the car audio system set
by user
In the UI click on the icon on the main menu to enter follow by clicking on the icon to activate FM
transmission. It will be illustrated like below when FM activated:

Note: Only empty station frequency pair (device and vehicle radio device) will trigger the sound to be send out from
the stereo speaker. Icon will turn to white when activate.
Bluetooth
The Bluetooth function is used for communication purpose. After the device is connected to a mobile phone with
Bluetooth capability, you can operate the mobile phone functions on this system. You may dial, receive a call, or
view the call record of the mobile phone or perform other functions.
Click the Bluetooth icon on the main interface and enter the following interface. Click on button to turn on
(open) bluetooth follow by pair/connect in the interface shown below.
Next –In this screen after pair/connect click , press search to go into next screen. Press re-search to
detect the device in the vicinity that you want to pair. Select device searched and click connect to pair and
PIN prompt will reflect on the device to be pair. Key in the PIN (default Pin : 1234) which can be found before
search and enter to pair.

Next –You can modify your device name, Pin, set Auto-connect and Auto-answer within your convenience
and preference
Modify the name –Click on to enter into next screen. Set the name of your preference
and click OK to save and exit
Modify the PIN –Click on to enter into next screen. Set the PIN (4 number max) for easy
reference in future other device adding and click OK to save and exit
Auto-connect –Click on so that it will show . This function by default tick or no tick
allows you to connect to the device automatically when pairing device is detected with Bluetooth on.
Auto-answer –Click on so that it will show . This function allows you to answer
phone call automatically after a few round of rings.
Dialing - click icon to enter to another dial screen as mention below interface
1. Key in manually from the screen for the number wish to call follow by press to start dialed. Any
number entered wrong, press to delete last number.
2. To end call, press to end.
3. During call, press to decrease volume or press to increase the volume.
***During ( - ) or ( + ), phone volume are to be set to the maximum for device to control volume.
4. When call is not in use, icon is seen. icon seen is call in process or calling.
5. To exit dialing, press to exit to the main interface of Bluetooth.
Phonebook –Click on to enter to another screen as mention below interface
1. Press to load all the contact from your paired phone.

**** Note : Once synchronize is press, phone will be prompt to allow or cancel synchronize. All
contact after synchronize is in number sequence once allowed.

Call history - Click on to enter to another screen as mention below interface
1. Press to load all the call history from your paired phone with prompt authorize to
synchronize the number over to the GPS device
2. Click the selected to check for the number you wish to view from :
3. Select the number by pressing on it follow by pressing on the to call direct.
4. Press or to toggle to next or previous page
A2DP - Click on to enter to another screen as mention below interface. You will see A2DP (Advance
Audio Distribution Profile) should be in Ready mode and AVRCP (Audio/Video Remote Control Profile)
should be in connected mode once you enter.
1. Music will only played phone with a music or audio file.
2. Select the file from the music playlist you wish to play and play the file.
3. Once file selected and start play, you will see A2DP should as connected
4. When file is played from an apps folder, it needed to keep in background operating when exit to
make call or disconnected from bluetooth if not next round of play will be played from the phone
music or audio save file randomly.
5. When file is played, you can adjust volume from 1 softest to 9 loudest, icon show stop
, Play/Pause , Next or Previous file during filed played.
Noted:
SMS /DUN - This 2 function unfortunately is not available right now.

This is for system setting to change default setting of the system to your personal preference.
In this UI, press to enter and screen shown on the interface as below
Volume –This function is to control your GPS device tapping volume when pressing on and icon.
1. Press on icon to enter into volume control as interface shown below
2. Press or to control add or minus volume sound to comfortable hearing
3. Press either or to select close (off) or open (on) Tap sound
Backlight –This function is to control your GPS device backlighting for dimmer or brighter screen.

1. Press on icon to enter into volume control as interface shown below
2. Press or to control brightness of the device to comfortable viewing
3. Press either or to select the time of the screen Auto OFF mode (screen dimmer)
Selection of (10s, 30s, 1min, 2min, 3min, Always ON) provided for selection.
Note : If time is set to dim off the screen, tap on the screen once to brighten back.
Language –This function is to provide changes interface language base on preference view.
1. Press on icon to enter into language selection interface shown below
2. Click on the language (English/Chinese) preferred and once selected and activate, press to exit
Navi Path –This function is require to be set the GPS software path correctly in order to load for navigation
usage

1. Click on the Navi Path icon to enter next interface for path setting
2. Click on to enter next path setting (Navigation Software List) as interface
3. Click on the file (internal memory usage) or (Sd card usage) to enter to next interface
4. Click on the Navi folder to enter into next interface.

5. On the file, click on the folder (Sd card) or (Internal) to confirm the exe. file set.

7. Click on if software is require to be auto start instead of pressing
in the main interface. Uncheck will go to the UI every time the device is boot up
USB - You may select whether to use the device for “Mass Storage” (works like an external memory
stick), or to “ACTIVESYNC” when the USB is connected to your computer
1. Press USB icon to enter into next interface to change USB Setting status
2. Check MASS STORAGE if new software or map update is require. This will act as a external hard
drive detected.
3. For MS ACTIVESYNC can be use as point 2 but it will cause extreme slow in transferring of data. It
can transfer data and meddle at the same time while point 2 cant.
Note : It is advisable to switch to Mass Storage if require for map update. Do not add any file into the
internal memory if using internal memory to run navigation software to prevent any complication cause
Date Time –This function is to set the time of the device accordingly to the region of the county you are in
1. Press DateTime icon to enter into next interface to change accordingly to your region of country
2. Press or to change accordingly the date and time according to DD-MM-YYYY HH:MM

3. Select the GMT accordingly to your region by pressing or to search and set
Calibration –This function help you to calibrate your screen alignment when the screen touch alignment is
out
1. Press icon to enter into next interface of the calibration to start. Before entering, you are prompt
to accept YES / NO to start calibrate
2. Once confirmation is enter, calibration will start as shown below
3. Follow carefully by pressing on the center of the + and hold. Target will move to the next point
around the screen. Repeat the process till it prompt to tap the screen anywhere to register the data
calibrated
SYSTEM –This function allow user to restore the device back to the factory setting and other information of
the device
1. Click icon to enter into system Information interface
2. Press if device is require to restore back to its origin setting
3. Other information like device version, model name, RAM, memory and device ID is stated

Navigation
This function is to enter into software for driving Navigation mode
1. Upon tapping on the icon you will enter into navigation software mode as shown
2. Press the on/off button to exit out of the software without affecting the navigation in process. The
program will still be running in background.
TPMS
This function is build in software integrated into GPS device for monitoring of tire pressure from device
without any hassle. TPMS is an optional product that can be purchase separately
1. Press on to activate TPMS function is there is a device purchase and installed
2. For TPMS function refer to the quick guide for more information on usage
AV-IN (Need to be equipped with camera or any AV output device such as Marbella Reverse Camera)
Car-backing Rear View Function (Optional Reverse Camera)
This function is a fully automatic function. No manual operation is needed.
Equipment Installation:
All rear view camera should be installed in the professional car workshop.
The GPS device will act as a monitor. Make sure that the device is turn on when using this mode.
Once the vehicle is engaged in the reverse gear, the device will automaticallyswitch the display imageof the rear view
camera. The device will resume toprevious work mode automaticallywhen vehicle is engaged back to drive or neutral
gear.
