Before operating the TV, please read through this manual.
PLACEMENT
• Do not place the TV on an unstable surface.
• Do not expose the TV to direct sunlight and other sources of heat.
• Do not handle liquids near or on the TV.
• Never spill liquid of any kind on the TV.
• Do not put heavy objects on the TV.
TEMPERATURE
• Do not place the unit near or over a radiator or a heater.
• If your TV is suddenly moved from a cold place to a warm place, unplug the power cord for at
least two hours so that moisture that may have formed inside the TV can dry completely.
HUMIDITY
• Do not expose the TV to rain.
• Do not place the TV near a damp area or near water
• Ensure the indoor drying, cool.
VENTILATION
• Keep the ventilation openings clear.

Never place the television set in an unstable location. The television set may fall, causing serious personal injury or death.
Many injuries, particularly to children, can be avoided by taking simple precautions such as:
- Using cabinets or stands recommended by the manufacturer of the television set.
- Only using furniture that can safely support the television set.
- Ensuring the television set is not overhanging the edge of the supporting furniture.
- Not placing the television set on tall furniture (for example, cupboards or bookcases) without anchoring both the
furniture item and the television set to a suitable support.
- Not placing the television set on cloth or other materials that may be located between the television set and supporting
furniture.
- Educating children about the dangers of climbing on furniture to reach the television set or its controls.
If your existing television set is being retained and relocated, the same considerations as above should be applied.

Preparation For Your New TV

Set your TV
Put your TV on a firm surface which can bear the weight
of the TV.
To avoid danger, please don’t expose theTV to water
or heat (such as light, candles, heaters),
do not block the ventilation at the back of TV.
Connect the antenna and power
1.Connect the antenna cable to the antenna socket on the
back of the TV.
2. Plug the power cord of TV into the socket.

3Turn on TV
3.Press the power button of the TV, the indication light will
turn blue. If it is on standby mode(the light will be red), press
the power button on the remote control to turn on the TV.

The stand of some TV models is designed with snap-in type, easily installed by snapping
into stand groove, instead of screws.

0-9: Select and switch to a channel using 0- 9.
RED, GREEN, YELLOW, BLUE: Correspond to the different coloured subjects.
DISPLAY: Display TV information.
SOURCE: Press to change signal source.
ATV: Press to switch to ATV mode.
SUBTITLE: No function
NICAM/MTS: In the TV condition, press this key to select stereo mode.
SLEEP: Set the sleep timer.
EXIT: Exit the OSD (On-screen display).
FREEZE: Press to hold the picture.
ASPECT: Press to adjust picture ratio.
P.MODE: Select picture mode.
S.MODE: Select sound mode.
MEDIA: Press to select the USB signal source.
GO TO: Locate the appointed time (accurate to seconds) in USB mode.
Press to start playing the USB or to pause playing
(used for models with USB function only)
Stop playing the USB (used for models with USB function only)
Press to rewind (used for models with USB function only)
Press to fast forward (used for models with USB function only)
Skip to previous chapter (used for models with USB function only)
Skip to next chapter (used for models with USB function only)

and press this button to display“Channel list” in TV mode.
MENU: Press this button to enter the main menu for various optional
adjustable settings.
CH+/CH-: Change the channel up and down.
