LED INDICATORS
There are two LED indicators on the D.A.U; green and yellow. The following table
describes their operation.

Slow ashing OFF Starting call
Quick ashing OFF Incoming call
OFF ON Alarm started, waiting for call acceptance
ON OFF Remote communication established
OFF Slow ashing Alarm accepted, waiting for rescue
OPTIONS SELECTOR (SW1)
SW1 FUNCTION DESCRIPTION
1CAN1 ID In a system with more than one lift car each Digital Audio Unit
needs a unique ID (CAN1 ID); see g 4 for how to set the ID.

3 CAN 2 ΩActives the CAN terminating resistor for the CAN 2 connector
4 CAN 1 ΩActives the CAN terminating resistor for the CAN 1 connector
5 Microphone Used to turn the inbuilt microphone on/o; use when an
external microphone is connected.
6 Speaker Used to turn the inbuilt speaker on/o; use when an external
speaker is connected.
CONFIGURATION COMMANDS
The Digital Audio Unit has a series of parameters that allow programming of the device.
These commands aect each cabin and programming parameters are stored and
controlled by the Digital Communications Platform.
3-digit commands program the Digital Audio Unit; the rst digit indicates cabin number
(C) and the other two digits are the parameter to be congured or checked. Therefore,
commands for cabin 1 are 1xx, for cabin 2, 2xx, and so on.
