2.2 Unlock the screen
Press and drag the padlock icon toward the right to unlock
the screen.
2.3 Lock the screen
When the device is in the ON mode, short press the power
button to lock the screen and enter power saving mode.
This turns off the screen, but the system is still running.
2.4 Switch off
When the device is in the ON mode, press and hold the
power button for about 3 seconds. Choose the Power off
option on the screen. Press OK to confirm and shut down
the system.
2.5Charge the battery
Insert the small end of the DC adapter into the DC jack on
the device, and connect the other end to a power outlet to
charge the device.
Note: For best results, charge the device for at least 8-12
hours the first time you use it to make sure it is fully charged.
While charging, the blue indicator light on the device turns on,
and the battery icon on the screen shows a lightning bolt.
2.6 Use the keyboard
The tablet has a soft keyboard that appears
automatically when you tap the place on the screen
where text is to be entered.
To change the keyboard language, hold down the comma
() key for one second, then release. Choose Input
languages, and select the language you want.
Note: You can also change keyboard settings by going to Settings
> Language and input.
2.7 Use a micro SD card
Insert a micro SD card into the slot. The metal contacts on the
SD card should face the front of the tablet . To browse files in the
SD card, go to the File Manager app and choose the SD card icon at
the
top. Before removing the SD card, close any open files on the SD
card and choose Settings > Storage > Unmount SD card.
Tips:
1. Do not insert the micro SD card by force. The card can only be
inserted in one direction.

2. If the SD card is write-protected, please remove the
write protection before formatting and writing data.
3. Major brand SD cards are recommended t o h e l p e n s u r e
the card is compatible with the device.
4.Please note that apps are installed to the device by default, not
to the SD card.
5. The tablet also has an internal SD card that cannot be
removed.
2.8 Connect to a computer
To move files between the tablet and a computer, insert
the small end of the USB cord into the tablet and the other
end into the computer. Tap “Turn on USB storage” on the tablet
screen. The files on the tablet will appear on the computer.
Use the computer to copy files between the devices.
Before unplugging the USB cord, press and drag down the
small USB icon in the upper left corner of the tablet
screen and turn off USB storage.
2.9 Browse files in the device
To browse files in the device’s internal storage, go to
the File Manager app and choose the second icon from
the left at the top of the screen.
2.10 Start programs
Tap on the application icon of your choice, and it will
start. To see all apps in the tablet, press the menu icon on
the home screen (six dots inside a circle).
2.11 Close programs
To close an application and return to the home screen,
press the Home button or the Home icon on the screen.
2.12 Screen operation

sliding two fingers together or apart on the screen.

3UHVV: Tap an item on the screen briefly to choose it.

up, down, or sideways by sliding a finger on the screen.

5RWDWH: The screen contents will rotate automatically when the
tablet is rotated. To turn off this function, go to Settings >
Accessibility and uncheck Auto-rotate screen.

screen, scroll to it by sliding your finger sideways.

option to choose wallpaper will appear.

Press an icon for one second, and it will grow slightly larger
and allow you to drag it to another position.

Press an icon for one second and drag it to the left or right
edge of the screen to drop it onto a different screen.

5HPRYH icons from home screen
Press an icon for one second and drag it to the × in the
upper left corner. When the icon turns red, release it. It
will disappear from the home screen but still exist in the
menu of apps.
2.14 Display settings
Go to Settings > Display to set the screen brightness,
wallpaper,
font size, and length of idle time before the tablet goes to
sleep.
2.15 Wireless and network settings
To connect your tablet to Wi-Fi, go to Settings > Wi-Fi and
slide the Wi-Fi switch to the ON position. The device will show a
list of available wireless networks
.
Tap the desired wireless network. Depending on your network security
settings, the tablet will either automatically connect to Wi-Fi or ask you
to enter your network password. Please consult your wireless network
company for the password.
