REMOTE CONTROLLED HORSE BRIDLE
OPERATING INSTRUCTIONS (EN)
REMOTE CONTROLLED HORSE BRIDLE QUICK START
The remote controlled horse bridle quick start is as follows:
 Unpack all the delivered items
 Grab the bridle at its top
 Press the button on the remote control 2 times in a row a few seconds apart
 If nothing happens (likely), wake up the blinders by quickly changing their position once (otherwise they go back to
sleep)
 Press again the button on the remote control 2 times in a row a few seconds apart
 Blinders must change their position at least once
REMOTE CONTROLLED HORSE BRIDLE OPERATION
The remote controlled horse bridle operation is very simple. Each press of the button on the remote control, the blinders
simultaneously change their position from hiding to non-hiding or vice versa.
For correct operation, it is necessary:
 That the batteries are not discharged (see associated chapter)
 That the blinders are waked up (see associated chapter)
 That the button presses are separated by a few seconds
 That the remote control is not to far or hidden (wall, etc.) from the blinders
SLEEP AND WAKED UP MODE OF THE BATTERY POWERED ITEMS
Putting the items in sleep mode dramatically increases the life of the batteries.
The remote control automatically enters sleep mode when its button is released.
Each blinder automatically enters sleep mode after 60 minutes of non-use or manually by forcing a quick rotation to one side
or the other.
The wake up of the remote control is triggered each time the button is pressed.
The wake up of the blinder is achieved by manually forcing a quick rotation to one side or the other (idem to enter sleep mode).
It is advisable to check that the blinders are effectively in sleep mode by pressing the remote control push button.

BATTERIES CHECK WITHOUT ENCLOSURES OPENING
Download and install the «MICROCHIP MBD» app on your smartphone (for ANDROID™ and iOS®).
Run the « MICROCHIP MBD» app.
Select « BLE SMART » and exit the « LOCALISATION » display.
A possibly empty device list appears.
Press the remote control button or enter a blinder in sleep mode, at least one new device must appear in the list, click on it.
The display should look like this:
The last number (above circled in red) indicates the battery level in a 0 to 67 range.
A value lower than 50 no longer guarantees the proper functioning of the concerned device and its battery must be replaced.
The battery life of the remote control is several years while that of the blinders is a few months (in normal use).
A batteries check dedicated MOTOBLINKERS app should be soon available.
REMOTE CONTROL BATTERY REPLACEMENT
The remote control battery must be replaced with a 3V CR1632 Lithium battery.
Its replacement is as follows :
 Unscrew the 4 screws from the enclosure lid
 Using a point (toothpick for example) slipped into the hole of one of the extracted screw, carefully remove the lid with
its gasket (be careful not to take off the gasket)
 Remove and flip the PCB so that the used battery is visible in its holder
 Using a non-conductive rod (toothpick for example), extract the used battery from its holder
 Insert the new battery (“+” facing upwards)
 Return the circuit to its original location
 Close the remote control enclosure by carefully replacing the lid with its gasket
 Replace the 4 screws
 Carry out a functional test with the two (original) blinders not in sleep mode
 The used battery must be handed over to the appropriate collection point (see associated chapter).

BLINDER BATTERY REPLACEMENT
The blinder battery must be replaced with a 9V 6LR61 alkaline battery.
Its replacement is as follows :
 unscrew the 4 screws from the blinder cover
 Remove the blinder cover
 Carefully unplug the used battery
 Carefully plug the new battery
 Replace the blinder cover
 Replace the 4 cover fixing screws
 Carry out a functional test of the bridle with the original remote control (otherwise it will no longer work with it)
 The used battery must be handed over to the appropriate collection point (see associated chapter).
 It is recommended to replace both bridle batteries at the same time.
RESPONSIBILITY
In all cases of use of the remote controlled bridle (including horse racing), it is up to the user to assess the stakes and the level of
caution required.
Thus, if the stakes and caution so require, he will have to put in new batteries as a preventive measure and carry out a complete
preventive functional check.
Under no circumstances can MOTOBLINKERS SAS be held responsible for a supposed or proven malfunction of its MBK1 system.

BRIDE A OEILLERES TELECOMMANDEES
MODE D’EMPLOI (FR)
DEMARRAGE RAPIDE DE LA BRIDE A OEILLERES TELECOMMANDEES
Le démarrage rapide de la bride à œillères télécommandées se déroule ainsi :
 Déballer tous les éléments livrés
 Tenir suspendue la bride par son sommet
 Appuyer sur le bouton de la télécommande 2 fois de suite à quelques secondes d’intervalle
 Si rien ne se passe (probable), réveiller les œillères en changeant rapidement leur position une seule fois (sinon elles se
rendorment)
 Appuyer de nouveau sur le bouton de la télécommande 2 fois de suite à quelques secondes d’intervalle
 Les œillères se déplacent au moins une fois
FONCTIONNEMENT DE LA BRIDE A OEILLERES TELECOMMANDEES
Le fonctionnement de la bride à œillères télécommandées est très simple. A chaque appui sur le bouton de la télécommande,
les œillères changent simultanément leur position de occultant vers non occultant ou inversement.
Pour un fonctionnement correct il faut :
 Que les piles ne soient pas déchargées (voir chapitre associé)
 Que les œillères soient réveillées (voir chapitre associé)
 Que les appuis sur le bouton de la télécommande soient espacés de quelques secondes
 Que la télécommande ne soit pas trop éloignée ou masquée (mûr, etc.) par rapport aux œillères
MISE EN VEILLE ET REVEIL DES ELEMENTS ALIMENTES PAR PILE
La mise en veille des éléments permet d’augmenter considérablement la durée de vie des piles.
La télécommande se met en veille automatiquement dès le relâchement du bouton.
Chaque œillère se met automatiquement en veille après 60 minutes sans utilisation ou manuellement par sa rotation forcée
dans un sens ou dans l’autre.
Quand à lui, le réveil de la télécommande à lieu à chaque appui sur le bouton.
Le réveil d’une œillère s’obtient par sa rotation rapide forcée dans un sens ou dans l’autre.
Il est conseillé de vérifier la mise en veille effective des œillères par appui sur la télécommande.

VERIFICATION DE L’ETAT DES PILES SANS OUVERTURE DES BOITIERS
Téléchargez et installez l’application « MICROCHIP MBD» sur votre Smartphone (pour ANDROID™ et iOS®).
Lancez l’application « MICROCHIP MBD».
Sélectionnez « BLE SMART » puis sortez de la vue « LOCALISATION ».
Une liste éventuellement vide d’équipements apparait.
Appuyez sur le bouton de la télécommande ou mettez en veille une œillère, au moins un nouvel équipement doit apparaitre
dans la liste, cliquez dessus.
L’affichage doit ressembler à cela :
Le dernier nombre (entouré en rouge ci-dessus) indique le niveau de la pile dans une plage 0 à 67.
Une valeur inférieure à 50 ne garantit plus le bon fonctionnement de l’élément impliqué et sa pile doit être remplacée.
La pile de la télécommande a une durée de vie de plusieurs années alors que celle des œillères n’est que de quelques mois (en
usage normal).
Une application MOTOBLINKERS dédiée au contrôle des piles sera bientôt disponible.
REMPLACEMENT DE LA PILE DE LA TELECOMMANDE
La pile de la télécommande doit être remplacée avec une pile Lithium 3V CR1632.
Son remplacement se déroule ainsi :
 Dévisser les 4 vis du couvercle du boitier de télécommande
 A l’aide d’une pointe (cure-dents par exemple) glissée dans le trou d’une des vis extraites, retirer délicatement le
couvercle avec son joint (veillez à ne pas décoller le joint)
 Retirer et retourner le circuit de sorte à voir la pile usagée dans son support
 A l’aide d’une tige non conductrice (cure-dents par exemple), extraire la pile usagée de son support
 Mettre la pile neuve (« + » vers le haut)
 Replacer le circuit dans sa position d’origine
 Refermer le boitier de télécommande en replaçant délicatement le couvercle avec son joint
 Remettre les 4 vis
 Faire un essai de fonctionnement avec les deux œillères (d’origine) réveillées
 La pile usagée doit être apportée à un point de collecte approprié pour le recyclage (voir chapitre associé).

REMPLACEMENT DE LA PILE D’UNE OEILLERE
La pile d’œillère doit être remplacée avec une pile alcaline 9V 6LR61.
Son remplacement se déroule ainsi :
 Dévisser les 4 vis du capot de l’œillère
 Retirer le capot d’œillère
 Débrancher délicatement la pile usagée
 Brancher délicatement la nouvelle pile
 Refermer le capot d’œillère
 Revisser les 4 vis de fixation du capot de l’œillère
 Faire un essai de fonctionnement de l’œillère avec sa télécommande d’origine (sinon elle ne fonctionnera plus avec)
 La pile usagée doit être apportée à un point de collecte approprié pour le recyclage (voir chapitre associé).
 Il est conseillé de remplacer les 2 piles de la bride simultanément
RESPONSABILITE
Dans tous les cas d’usage des œillères motorisées (y compris les courses hippiques), il est de la responsabilité de l’utilisateur
d’évaluer les enjeux et le niveau de prudence requis. Ainsi, si les enjeux et la prudence le demandent, il devra préventivement
mettre des piles neuves et effectuer un contrôle préventif complet du fonctionnement.
En aucun cas la responsabilité de MOTOBLINKERS SAS ne saurait être engagée pour un disfonctionnement supposé ou avéré de
son système MBK1.
