Using Mükava with a Tablet or Phone
Mükava can be used with most phones or tablets currently available in
the market. Do not use Mükava with ‘curved’ phones.
Mükava pads use a patented adhesive system which uses no chemical
adhesives, but millions of micro suction cups to maintain adhesion
between the pad and your device. With normal use and care, your
Mükava pad should maintain its adhesion for many years.
We recommend that you leave your Mükava pad on your devices. The
adhesion to your device will improve over time.
Important!
Mükava cannot be used with a laptop when the stand has been
opened. In no circumstances should you attempt to use a device
that weighs more than 2.2 pounds (1 kg) on your Mükava while the
stand is open.
Important!
Make sure that the Mükava pad is completely dry and clean before
applying it to your device
Use the larger Mükava tablet pad for a tablet
or smaller Mükava phone pad for a phone.

• Gently press the ‘sticky’ side of the
Mükava pad against the clean back
side of your device.
• Place the device onto the reading
surface with two hands just above
the lip on the reading surface.
Important!
Never place a tablet or phone
on the reading surface directly
over your head or neck. An
unintentional bump may knock the
device off of the reading surface
and onto your person or the floor.
Never turn the reading surface
more than 90 degrees downwards
while you are laying in bed.

Using a Mükava pad on a tablet or phone with a protective
outer case
If your tablet or phone has a protective case, please use the following
additional steps.
• Find the additional cellophane
sheet provided with each
Mükava pad for phone or tablet.
• Gently peel the back from the
cellophane sheet and apply the
‘sticky’ side to the back of the
protective case for the tablet or
phone.
• Gently press the clean ‘sticky’
side of the Mükava pad against
cellophane sheet that is
attached to the back side of your
device.
• With two hands carefully place
your device against the reading
surface of your Mükava to see
if your device slides from the
Mükava pad. If the device slides
from the Mükava pad, either
remove the outer protective case
or do not use that device with
your Mükava.

Mükava can charge any device that has a USB enabled charging cable.
Prior to charging your device, please ensure that Mükava is properly
powered by ensuring the power adaptor has been plugged into the wall
with an active electrical current.

the status of the power to your Mükava.
A bright green light means that the power supply to your Mükava is normal.
A dim green light means that the power supply to your Mükava is low.
A red light means that there is too much power to your Mükava.
Use of Tablet or Phone Device Cameras
• To use the front camera on
your device, place your device
anywhere on the reading surface.
• To use the back camera on your
device, place your device on the
reading surface so that the back
camera is unobstructed yet the
entirety of the Mükava pad is
secured to the reading surface to
prevent the device from falling off.

capacity, level of charge already on the device’s battery and use of the
device while charging.
