shown here)and liftup thedisplayby pushing itup
withafinger (usethesquareopening).
BecarefulwiththeDigitizer-Cable.Theshapeof
thecablemakesitveryfragile.Ifyou liftup thedisplaywithout care you
mayprobably tearthecableby accident.

Thewiresforthebacklight-foilarelocatedattheposition mar-
ked yellow.There'salittlenotch.Pull out thewirescarefully
beforegoingto thenext sub-step.
Pull out thefoil.
Do not touchorbend thegreencircuitboard.Do not open
thelatcheswhichholdtheboardin place.
Theconnection to thedisplaycanbedamagedin amanner
wichcannot befixedorcorrectedeasily.
The blue markings areonlyinterestingin Step14 whenyou put
thefoil backin place.

Cutthewiresoftheoriginalfoil closeto thesolderedconnection.Shortenthe
connection wiresofthereplacement foil to alength ofabout 5millimeters.
TheEL-sheetwillbedamagedifsolderedtoo hot ortoo long. Becareful!
Unisolatethewire-ends forabout 2milimeters.Tin oneofthetwo wires; keep
thetinfluid and maketheconnection withtheconnectorofthereplacement foil.
Theconnectoris madeofverythincopperwhichwillheatup veryfast.
Forthermalcompensationusethepliersand picktheconnectorwhereitcomes
out ofthelamination.Thisensures,thatmostofthesoldering-heatis guided
intothepliersinsteadofcausing harmto thefoil.
Continuewiththesecond wire thesameway. Don'tcare about thecolorofthese
wires-it'snot neededbecausethefoil is drivenby alternating current (ac).
Usesomeinsulating tapeto protectthecontactsagainst shortcircuits.
