Common rec argeable batteries contain lit ium battery, nickel cadmium battery, nickel metal ydride
battery, and sealed lead-acid battery, etc.
Lit ium battery as t e features suc as big capacity, lig t weig t, ig cycle times etc, is widely used in
mobile p ones, PDA, digital cameras, camcorders, laptop computers, and ot er fields, and it is currently
t e most advanced rec argeable battery; T e lit ium battery w ic is referred to ere is finis ed lit ium
one ; T e battery w ic is composed of lit ium-ion batteries (lit ium ion batteries or polymer batteries)
plus lit ium battery protection board is early applicably rec argeable battery, w ic as t e features suc
as low cost, low internal resistance, large current disc arge.
Nickel metal ydride battery and nickel-cadmium battery are similar, owever, since it does not contain
eavy metals, nickel metal ydride battery makes less pollution to t e environment t an t at of
nickel-cadmium battery; At present, nickel metal ydride battery is widely used in common consumer
electronics, and as for t e application field, nickel cadmium battery almost as been replaced wit nickel
metal ydride battery.

Small sealed lead-acid battery, also called maintenance-free lead-acid battery, w ose current tec nology
is mature, is mainly used in stationary backup power supply occasions suc as uninterruptible power
supply, emergency lamp and so on.
Aimed at t e necessary of rec argeable battery production testing, we ave specially developed a
dedicated rec argeable battery compre ensive tester ; T e tester can make a precise quantitative
measurement for some basic parameters of t e battery, can measure battery’s open circuit voltage, load
current, internal resistance, and can accurately measure battery’ capacity and mobile power supply’
capacity, w ic greatly facilitates battery production and pre-sales and after-sales service work; T e
performance affects of battery can be intuitively judged wit very simple steps by t e tester, at t e same
time, it also as t e function of rapid screening, can set t e upper and lower limits of measurement
parameters, and bad batteries can be easily detected out from a lot of finis ed batteries by t e tester,
w ic improve production efficiency. In addition, it also as some special functions, w ic make it ave
t e c aracteristics of some common instruments and equipment, and expand usage flexibility of tester,
and as feature of widely usage range.

Ⅲ. Operating Manual of Product
1. The testing of phone charger output current (This product can test all of the mo ile phone
chargers which are within 5V3A)
At firstly, Long press of SET , OFF or ON will be s own on window at Lower –left corner ; Secondly, press
UP and DOWN button to adjust to t e OFF state (It means t at internal resistance test is closed); T en
s ort press SET to save; After testing interface restored is s own, s ort press SET, current window will be
flas ed, and press UP and Down arrow to adjust to 3000 Ma; Press again SET, voltage window will be
flas ed, press UP and Down arrow to adjust to 4.20 V ( Battery w ose c arger voltage is below 4.2 V can’t
be fully c arged.);After setting , press SET to save . Current no-load voltage can be s own on tester w ic
is connected wit tested c arger; Directly press TEST button, current begins to rise rapidly until t e alarm
is alarmed at t e same t e maximum output current of current tested c arger can be s own on current
window. Press again TEST, testing is finis ed. (T e maximum output current of mobile power supply can

be tested in t e same way.)
2.The testing of attery’s internal resistance capacity
At firstly, Long press SET, OFF or ON will be s own on window at Lower –left corner; Secondly, press UP
and DOWN button to adjust to t e ON state (It means t at internal resistance test is opened); T en s ort
press SET to save; Setting ot er places is not needed w en internal insistence is tested , t e internal
insistence value can be quickly s own w en t e pens of tester are directly connected wit t e tested
battery .(cross t e electrodes (Err will be s own on voltage window of tester if positive and negative
electrodes are inversely connected ).
3.The Testing of Battery’s Capacity and Mo ile Power Supply’s Capacity
At firstly, Long press of SET, OFF or ON will be s own on window at Lower –left corner ; Secondly, press
UP and DOWN button to adjust to t e OFF state (It means t at internal resistance test is closed); T en
s ort press SET to save; After testing interface restored is s own, s ort press SET, current window will be
flas ed, and press UP and Down arrow to adjust to required disc arge current;( Disc arge current s ould
be set according to capacity size, in general, it is set to t e range from 1/2 to 1/5 of capacity ; For example,
as for 1000 mA battery current , it can be set to 500 mA - 200 mA; As for very large capacity battery ,
disc arge current is recommended to be set between 1000 mA - 2000 mA); Press again SET, voltage
window will be flas ed, press UP and Down arrow to adjust to 2.75 V; After setting , press SET to
save .Press Test to start testing after tested battery is connected wit tester; Capacity begins to slowly rise,
and press UP and DOWN button to switc time and capacity; After disc arge is finis ed , t e tester will
alarm for several times and screen will be flas ed at t e same time, now, t e capacity of window is t e
actual capacity of battery (Remember t at before capacity testing, battery s ould be fully c arged by
c arger, ot erwise t e Tested data won’t be accurate.)

Notes: 1. T e Voltage of Tested Battery S ould not be more t an 10V;
2. Please insert a ead pen line of Tester w en current or capacity is tested wit two small ports
on t e rig t side;
3. W en Tester is not connected wit tested object sometimes, voltage window occasionally
appears ERR, w ic is normal p enomenon because pens sense weak voltage in t e air; W en
test line is pulled out , t e p enomenon will disappear;
4. W en large current is disc arged, internal temperature of Instrument will rise, and built-in fan
will start; W en temperature is lowered, fan will automatically be s ut down (W en fan turns
up, it will make a little noisy since t e space is too small, w ic needs large power fan for
cooling).
