colorful and tasty treats. This fanciful product is fun for the whole family and
brings out the kid in everyone. People love to collect the delicate webs of
cotton candy on their cones while circling the translucent pink bowl. Instantly,
gatherings are transformed into carnivals and dessert time into party time!

hard candies into sweet candy floss that you collect on cones by
spinning the cone as it circles the bowl…just like at the carnival!

PARTS & ASSEMBLY
After Taking the Unit Out of the Box:
Take the RETRO SERIES™ HARD & SUGAR-FREE COTTON
CANDY MAKER out of the box and wipe down the unit exterior
and bowl with a non-abrasive cloth or sponge before using.
To attach the Extractor Head, push down onto the stem and make sure
that the grooves are properly aligned to fit over the pegs on the stem.
To attach the Bowl, carefully push the bowl down and turn counterclockwise
until it locks into place. Then attach Rim to Bowl by snapping in place.
Now you are ready to enjoy tasty, fluffy cotton candy from your RETRO
SERIES™ HARD & SUGAR-FREE COTTON CANDY MAKER.

HOW TO OPERATE
First, find a stable surface near an electrical outlet before1.
starting. Make sure the cord is away from any water source.
It is acceptable to use an extension cord if needed.
Plug in unit at the OFF position.2.
Turn unit to ON position and allow it to run for at least 5 minutes3.
before adding hard candy. If using sugar, allow it to run for 10 minutes
before adding sugar. This will allow the Extractor Head to heat.
Turn unit OFF and place no more than two pieces of hard candy or one scoop of4.
flavored sugar (1 tbsp.) into the Extractor Head. Make sure the candies are evenly
placed on either side of the Extractor Head (see image below).
Switch to ON position.5.
When you see the cotton candy web begin, collect the cotton6.
candy on the cone by holding the cone vertically. Rotate the
cone with your fingers while you circle the bowl.
Once cotton candy has collected on the cone, hold the cone in a horizontal

position over the Extractor Head while still rotating the cone with your fingers.
Continue turning the cone with your fingers while the cone is in the horizontal
position and move from side to side making sure to collect all the cotton candy.
Repeat above steps by adding another measure of candy into8.
the Extractor Head and starting again. The cotton candy should
flow more quickly as the unit is sufficiently warm.
DO NOT overfill the Extractor Head by adding more than two candies9.
at a time. This will cause clogging and unit will not work properly.

If your cotton candy is not flossing properly or is coming out with
a brittle, “Easter grass” texture, follow these instructions:
Only put in 1-2 hard candies at a time•
Make sure the candies are evenly placed on either side of the Extractor Head.•
For best results, break candies up before use.•
The faster the Extractor Head spins, the better the result.•

CLEANING & MAINTENANCE
Make sure the unit is unplugged and has had time to cool down before cleaning.1.
After cooling, remove the Extractor Head by firmly gripping both2.
sides and pulling straight up. UNLOCK bowl by turning clockwise
and lifting. Wash both in warm water, rinse and dry.
Use a clean, slightly damp, non-abrasive sponge or non-abrasive cloth to wipe3.
down the outside of the unit, then wipe with a non-abrasive towel to dry.

Après avoir retiré l’appareil de sa boîte :
Retirez la RETRO SERIES™ MACHINE À BARBE À PAPA SANS SUCRE
POUR BONBONS DURS de la boîte et essuyez l’extérieur de l’appareil et
le bol à l’aide d’une éponge ou d’un linge non-abrasif avant de l’utiliser.
Pour attacher la tête d’extraction, pousser la tige vers le bas et assurez-vous
que les sillons sont bien alignés sur les ancrages afin de fixer le tout sur la tige.
Pour attacher le bol, pousser délicatement sur celui-ci vers le bas
par-dessus les arêtes métalliques de l’unité principale.
Vous êtes maintenant prêt à déguster une délicieuse et vaporeuse
barbe à papa grâce à votre RETRO SERIES™ MACHINE À
BARBE À PAPA SANS SUCRE POUR BONBON.

COMMENT FAIRE FONCTIONNER
Avant de débuter, trouvez une surface stable près d’une prise électrique.1.
Assurez-vous que le cordon se trouve loin de toute source d’eau.
L’utilisation d’une rallonge électrique est acceptable au besoin.

Branchez l’appareil alors qu’il est à la position « OFF ».3.
Mettez le contact en tournant le bouton à la position « ON » et laissez-4.
le fonctionner pendant au moins 5-10 minutes avant d’ajouter le sucre.
Ceci donnera le temps à la tête d’extraction de préchauffer.
Ne placez pas plus de deux bonbons durs dans la tête d’extraction.5.
Assurez-vous que les bonbons sont placés également de chaque
côté de la tête d’extraction (voir photo ci-dessous).
Tournez le bouton à la position « ON ».6.
Lorsque vous verrez la toile de barbe à papa apparaître, récoltez-la sur7.
le cône en le tenant à la verticale. Faites tourner le cône sur lui-même
avec vos doigts en même temps que vous le tournez autour du bol.
Une fois que la barbe à papa a été récoltéee sur le cône, tenez le8.
cône à l horizontale au-dessus de la tête d’extraction pendant que
vous continuez à le faire tourner sur lui-même avec vos doigts.
Continuez à faire tourner le cône sur lui-même avec vos doigts9.

l’autre en vous assurant de récolter toute la barbe à papa.
Répétez les étapes ci-dessus en ajoutant une nouvelle mesure de bonbons10.
