DETERMINE THE MOUNTING LOCATION
To provide maximum viewing flexibility, the M7232 is capable of a wide range of
motions, which allows the display to be positioned for viewing from many different
angles.
When selecting the mounting location for the display, make sure there is adequate
space on all sides of the display. Consider the dimensions (Height x Width) of your
particular display model.
MOUNTING TO THE WALL
First remove end panel, from the wall plate: turn Philips screws counter-clockwise with
a screwdriver, and then remove the wall plate covers. Turn socket screws
counter-clockwise with the 5mm Allen wrench. When the screws are loose you will
be able to remove the end panel from the wall plate (as shown in fig. 2).
STEP 2
STEP 1
g. 2
A
Follow the instructions based upon your
mounting surface:
2a) Wooden Stud
2b) Concrete/masonry
2c) Cinder block

MOUNTING TO WOODEN STUDS
The wall plate can be mounted on up to three wooden studs. Using a high-quality
wall stud finder, find the location of the wall studs. Mark the centre of the wall stud
(an edge to edge stud finder is highly recommended).
Use a level to draw a vertical line down the centre of the stud. Use the template to
mark the holes. Drill 8mm (5/16”) holes to a depth of 90mm (3 1/2”). Use the lag
bolts to attach the wall plate to the wall (as shown in fig. 2.1).
Use the template to mark the centre of the holes on the wall. Drill 14mm (1/2”)
holes to a depth of 90mm (3 1/2”). Insert the anchors into the holes, making sure
the anchors are flush with the wall, as shown in fig. 2.2. Install the wall plate to the
wall using the wood screws. Please make sure the wall plate is level, and tighten all
fasteners. See fig. 2.3 for clarification.
MOUNTING TO CINDER BLOCK WALLS
WARNING
- Cinder block must meet ASTM C-90 specifications
- Mount to solid portion of block, minimum 25mm (1”) from the sides
- Never drill into mortar joints!
- Use standard drill set on slow speed/high torque setting. Do not use hammer drill
on cinder block.
- Verify that you have a minimum of 35mm (1 1/4”) actual concrete thickness in the
mounting hole, before inserting the wall anchor.
The anchors must be seated firmly against the concrete masonry. If mounting to a
masonry wall covered with drywall/plaster, counter bore a hole through the drywall/
plaster around the mounting hole location, so that the anchor can be seated directly
against the cinder block.
Tighten the lag bolts so that the wall plate is firmly attached to wall, but do not
overtighten. The lag bolts can be damaged by overtightening which greatly reduces
their holding power. The final tightening of the lag bolts must always be done by
hand, with a ratchet wrench and socket.
STEP 2a
STEP 2c
STEP 2b MOUNTING TO CONCRETE/MASONRY
WARNING
Never drill into a mortar joint.
The concrete must be 2000PSI minimum density.
The anchors must be seated firmly against the concrete or masonry. If mounting to a
masonry wall is covered with drywall/plaster, counter bore a hole through the drywall/
plaster around the mounting hole location, so that the anchor can be seated directly
against concrete or masonry. This is shown in fig. 2.2.

ATTACHING THE ARM ASSEMBLY TO THE WALL PLATE
It is easy to assemble the arm assembly to the wall plate. First, insert the arm
assembly’s shoulder into the wall plate’s rail side. Tighten the socket screws, as
in fig. 3.1. Recover the aluminium covers and the plastic covers, then tighten
Philips screws, as fig. 3.2.
INSTALLATION OF THE MONITOR BRACKETS TO THE BACK
OF THE DISPLAY
When you begin to install the display to the monitor brackets, you must select the
correct screws. Before installation, the adjustable bracket must be vertically placed.
The distance from the centre of the television to the brackets should be as short as
possible. If you have a television with a groove in the back, use the screws (C,E,G or
I), thread them through the square washers (B), the television mounting assembly and
then through the Spacer1 (L), and screw into the television. Finally, use the screwdriver
to tighten the screws firmly as shown in fig. 4.1.
With a television that has a recessed mounting area or a curved back, use the screws
(D,F,H or J), threading them through the square washers (B), the television mounting
and Spacer 1 (L), Spacer 2 (M), and thread into the television. Finally, tighten the
screws with a screwdriver firmly, as shown in fig. 4.2.
STEP 3
STEP 4
g. 3.1
g. 3.2
Using the template, drill holes with a diameter of 14mm (1/2”), to a depth of 90mm
(3 1/2”) into a solid portion of the cinderblock wall. These holes should be in a vertical
line. Using a level is recommended. Insert the anchors into the holes, and then lightly
tap them flush to the wall with a hammer. Attach the wall plate to the wall with lag
bolts. Make sure the wall plate is level and tighten all fasteners.

WARNING
- Never force screws into the display, or damage may occur.
- Never use an electric drill to secure the screws.
CAUTION: Always make sure the television is unplugged before threading any bolt
into the back panel! First find the screw holes in the television’s back, then select the
screws that fit the screw holes dimension.
IMPORTANT: If you cannot find the hardware that
fits your television, please contact your local
hardware shop.
CAUTION: Never lay the television face down on the glass, it should be tilted or
leaned against a wall or other solid surface. Laying the television face down on the
glass, may
lead to permanent damage.
CAUTION: Some televisions are heavy, please lift and place carefully. We will not be
held responsible for any accidental damage.
Gently turn the two upper screws (K) into the screw holes of the mounting head’s
aluminum panel. Carefully attach the display to the M7232 mounting arm assembly’s
pocket. Lock the mounting head to the mounting
arm tightly with the other two screws (K). Insert
the screws into the under pocket of the mounting
arm and lock them to the mounting head’s
aluminum panel with a Allen wrench (T), as shown
in fig. 4.3.
ADJUSTING THE DISPLAY
The M7232 provides a wealth of display adjustment options to offer the best viewing
from many different seating positions.
STEP 5
STEP 6
Roll control - horizontal levelling of the display.
Grasp the edge of the display and roll it up or down into the desired position, as
shown in fig. 6.2.
Tilt - raising or lowering the screen to improve viewing angle/picture quality.
Grasp the upper and lower edges of the display, and push or pull the display to the
desired tilt angle, as shown in fig. 6.3.
Tighten the tilt knob after you adjust the display to the desired tilt angle, as shown in
fig. 6.4.

USING CABLE MANAGEMENT
NOTE: Make sure that the cords have enough slack to allow the full movement of the
arm. Route the cords inside arms slots of the wall arm assembly (e).
OPTIONAL: Run power cord through one side of mount and signal cable through
other side to avoid interference with the signal. Lock cords into place by sliding on
the cord covers (as shown in fig. 5.1).
