Before using the machine, please read the instructions carefully and keep them for future reference.

Matters needing attention
1.Make sure the AC power supply in your house
meets the power requirements listed on the label
sticker at the bottom of the product. Please mount
the product horizontally on the appropriate base
(furniture) and leave enough ventilation space
around 7~10 cm.Make sure the vents are not
blocked. Do not place the device on power
amplifiers or other devices that will generate heat.
This equipment can be used continuously. To
safely disconnect the device from the power
supply, unplug the alternating current power plug
from the wall socket. If you will not use the device
for a long time, please unplug it.
2. In thunderstorm weather, unplug the AC power
plug from the wall socket. Voltage spikes caused
by lightning can damage equipment.
3. Do not expose the equipment directly to the
sun or other heat sources. This may cause the
equipment to overheat or malfunction.
4. The product should avoid contact with damp
(such as vase), overheat (such as fireplace) or
equipment that will produce strong magnetic field
or electric field. If the equipment fails, unplug the
power cord from the AC power supply. This
product is not intended for industrial use, but for
personal use. Condensation may occur if the
product is stored at low temperature. If the
equipment is transported indoors during the
winter, it will take approximately 2 hours for the
equipment to reach the indoor temperature before
use.
5. The battery used in this product contains
chemicals harmful to the environment. Do not
dispose of batteries as general household
garbage. Do not expose the battery to the sun,
flame and other places with high temperature. Do
not short-circuit, disassemble or overheat the
battery. This can be dangerous if the battery is not
replaced properly. Only the same or the same
type of battery can be replaced
Clean
Warning
Before cleaning, be sure to turn off the
system and unplug the power adapter from the
power outlet.
Immediately remove any dust or stains from
the surface of the product.
Stains or old stains on certain materials may be
difficult to remove and clean.
Pay attention to
Use vacuum cleaner or removable
adhesive roller brush to remove dust,
hand marks and other stains.
– Depending on the material used,
some cleaning brushes may damage
the product.
– Towels and cleaning clothing may
leave cloth or dust on the product.
Do not use fingernails or other tools to
scrape dust. This may damage the fabric.
To remove oil or water stains, wipe with a
clean white cloth dipped in water. If there
are stubborn stains, please use a clean
cloth with a neutral detergent diluted with
water (such as detergent) to wipe.
– Non-neutral cleaners or stain
removers may cause discoloration
or fabric damage.
– After cleaning, use a dry cloth to dry
or blow dry the clean area.
– Do not exert too much force, so as
not to cause the fading of the
product or fabric damage.

2. Overview of the product

When plugged into the power supply, the power button will start working within 3 seconds.
When you turn the device on, there is a delay of about three seconds before it makes a sound.
If you hear sound from both the TV and the active main speaker, go to the TV Audio Settings menu and change the TV
speaker to the external speaker.

3. Remote Control
Key Instructions for Remote Control

Turn on and off the soundbar.
• Auto Standby will automatically shut down in the following
cases:
In AUX /OPT/ TV/HDMI /BT mode, up to 15 minutes if no
audio signal is present.
In standby mode, press the standby button to run the
speaker.

You can select Standard, Voice, Music, Cinema, and Night
to set the desired sound mode.
• STANDARD
Output standard sound.
• VOICE
Provides a more enhanced sound field than the
human voice in standard Settings.
• MUSIC
Provide music mode sound effects.
• CINEMA
Provides sound effects in cinema mode.
• NIGHT
Provides night mode sound effects to reduce sound
intensity and improve subtlety and softness.

Press the indicated area to select Up/Down/Left/Right/OK
Press up/down/left/right/OK on the button to select or set
the function.
• Skip the music
Press the right button to select the next music file.
Press the left button to select the last music file.

If pressed, the Settings items are displayed in order, such
as BASS, TREBLE,CENTER LEVEL,
FRONT TOP LEVEL and sync. You can use left/right keys
to adjust the desired items.
– To control the volume of TREBLE or BASS, select
Treble or Bass in the Sound Settings, and then use the
Up/Down buttons to adjust the volume between -6 and
+6.
– To control the volume of each speaker, select it in the
Sound Settings
Center Level, and Front Top Level, and then use the
Up/Down buttons to adjust the volume between -6 and
+6.
– If the video on the TV is out of SYNC with the sound
from the active home speaker, select Sync in Sound
Control and then set the audio delay between 0 and
200 milliseconds by using the up/down buttons.
– Sync is supported only for HDMI functionality.

4. Connect the subwoofer and rear surround speakers
Connect power and device
Please use the power cord to connect thesoundbar speaker to the power outlet in the following order:
See the label that comes with the product for more information about the power supply required and power
consumption.

1. There will be sound bar connected to the power supply.
NOTE:
If you unplug and reconnect the power cord when the product is turned on, the soundbar will turn on
automatically.
5. General Operations
When you first connect the unit to the Power outlet, the unit will be in STANDBY mode. Sound bar’s
screen show " --".
1. Press on the unit or the remote control to switch the unit to ON mode. The sound bar screen display
current source input.

2. Press again to shut down. System will go to Standby mode. In STANDBY mode sound bar’s screen
show "--" .
3. If no input, no operation and silent state after 10 minutes, sound bar goes into Standby automatically.
4. Disconnect the mains plug from the Power outlet if you want to switch the unit off completely.

Adjusting the Volume
Master Volume
Press VOL+/-on the unit or the remote control to adjust the volume( Volume range 0-100).
If you wish to turn the sound off , press mute on the remote control. Press mute again to resume normal
listening.
BASS Level
Short press BASS +/ BASS - on the remote control to adjusting BASS level (level range -6 to 6).

Method 1. Connecting through HDMI
Connect to a TV that supports HDMI ARC (Audio Return Channel)
1. After turning off the soundbar and TV, connect the HDMI cable as shown in the picture.
2. Turn on the soundbar and TV.
3. "TV" appears on the display screen of the main active speaker, and the soundbar plays TV sounds.
If there is no TV sound output, press the (multifunction) button on the top of the active home speaker or the
(signal source) button on the remote control to select the audio source input mode. The screen displays "TV"
in sequence and plays TV sounds.
When you connect to an EARC-enabled TV, "EARC" will appear on the screen and a sound will be heard.
To use the eARC connection, the eARC function in the TV menu should be set to on. Refer to the TV User's
Manual for more information about the setup.
If "TV" does not appear in the display of soundbar, verify that the HDMI cable is connected to the correct port.
Use the volume button on the TV remote control to change the volume on the active home speaker.
Attention
When both the HDMI cable and the cable are connected, the HDMI signal is received first.
To connect the HDMI cable between the TV and the soundbar, make sure to connect the
terminals marked ARC or eARC. Otherwise, the TV sound may not be output.
Be sure to use a cable with an advanced HDMI certification mark.

Method 2. Connecting through optical cable
1. Optical cable is used to connect the OPTICAL port on the speaker interface board and the OPTICAL output port on the
TV with the TV and the active home speaker off.
2. Turn on the soundbar and TV.
3. Select "Opt" mode by pressing the (Multifunction) button on the top of the active home speaker or the (Source) button
on the remote control.
4. TV sound is output from the soundbar.
Check before connection
When both the HDMI cable and the cable are connected, the HDMI signal is received first.
When you are using cable and the terminals have a cover, be sure to remove the cover.

7. Use a wireless connection to the TV
Mode 1. Connecting via Bluetooth
When using Bluetooth to connect to the TV, you can hear the stereo sound without wiring.
Only one TV can be connected at a time.
You can connect to a Bluetooth-enabled TV. Check the specs of your TV.
1. Long Press the Source button on the remote control under the BT source to enter the "PAIRING" mode.
a). Press source selection button on the top panel, and then select "BT" mode
"BT" automatically changes to "PAIRING" in a few seconds or to "BT" flicker if there is a connection record.
b). If "BT" appears and doesn’t blink. A device has already been connected to the soundbar via Bluetooth. To
disconnect the current device, long press Bluetooth button on the top panel of the soundbar for more than
3seconds to display "PAIRING".
2. Select Bluetooth mode on your TV.
3. Select "OXS S5" from the list on the TV screen.
The sound bar available are indicated as "required to pair" or "paired" on the TV Bluetooth device list. To connect
the TV to the soundbar, select the message and then establish the connection.
When the TV is connected to the mobile device, the top display will be fixed "BT".
4. You will now be able to hear the TV sound from the soundbar. The sound bar supports active reconnection after you first
disconnected from the TV.

Disconnecting sound barfrom TV
Long press Bluetooth button on the top of sound bar or the (source) button on the remote control.
Disconnection takes some time because the TV must receive a response from the soundbar.
(The time required may vary, depending on the model.)
Note about Bluetooth connection
Find new devices within 1 meter via Bluetooth communication.
Enter <0000> if a PIN code is required when connecting a Bluetooth device
In the Ready state, the soundbar automatically shuts down after 15 minutes
The soundbar may not perform a Bluetooth search or connect properly under the following circumstances
– There is a strong electric field near the soundbar.
– Several Bluetooth devices are paired simultaneously with the active home speaker.
– The Bluetooth device is off, out of place, or malfunctioning.
Electronic equipment may cause radio interference. Devices that generate electromagnetic waves must be kept away
from the host of the active host speaker - e.g. microwave ovens, wireless LAN devices, etc.
If the device connection fails
If you already have an active host speaker on your TV's speaker list (such as the OXS S5),
remove it.
Then repeat steps 1 through 3

8. Connecting external devices
Method 1. Connecting with HDMI Cable (Dolby Atmos decoding and playback)
1. Use an HDMI cable to connect the HDMI OUT port on the external device and the HDMI port on the back of the active
home speaker.
Check the list before connecting
Dolby Atmos® is supported in HDMI mode only.
If the audio output option includes Auxiliary Audio, be sure to set Auxiliary Audio to Off.
Make sure the content supports Dolby Atmos®.

2. Use an HDMI cable TO connect the HDMI IN port on the TV and the HDMI TO TV (EARC /ARC) port on the back of
the active home speaker.
3. Turn on active speakers, TVs, and peripherals.
4. Select "HDMI” modes by pressing the (source) button on the top of the active home speaker or the (Source) button on
the remote.
5. The display indicates that "HDMI” modes are currently selected, and the sound bar will start playing sounds.
Method 2. Connecting with optical cable
1. Use optical cable to connect the “Digital Audio In (Optical)” on the back of the soundbar and the “Optical Out” port on
the external device.
NOTE
When you use Dolby Atmos® : 3.1.2 channels will be output if the input source is Dolby
Atmos®.If Dolby Atmos® is activated, the sound effect mode of the active home speaker is
not available.
When Dolby Atmos® is activated, the top display displays "Dolby Atmos".
Configure Dolby Atmos® on your BD player or other device.
Open Audio Output Options on the Settings menu of your BD player or other device and
make sure No Encoding is selected for Bitstream. For example, on the BD player, go to the
Main menu →Sound →Digital Output, and then select Bitstream (Unprocessed).

2. Turn on the soundbar and external devices.
3. To select "OPT" mode, press the (source) button on the top of the soundbar or the (source) button on the remote
control
4. Your soundbar will play sounds from external devices.
9. Connecting mobile devices
Mode 1. Connecting via Bluetooth
When using Bluetooth to connect a mobile device, you can enjoy a wireless stereo experience.
When connecting to a new Bluetooth device, make sure the device is within 1 meter.

1. Long Press the Source button on the remote control under the BT source to enter the "PAIRING" mode.

a). Press the Bluetooth button on the top panel, and then select "BT" mode
"BT" automatically changes to "PAIR" in a few seconds or to blinks "BT" if there is a Bluetooth connected before.
b). If "BT" appears and doesn’t blink. A device has already been connected to the soundbar via Bluetooth. To
disconnect the current device,long press Bluetooth button on the top panel of the soundbar for more than 3seconds
to display "PAIRING".
2. On your device, select "OXS S5" from the list that appears.
• When the Soundbar is connected to the mobile device, the top display will be fixed to display "BT".
3. Play music files from a device connected to soundbar via Bluetooth.
• The speaker will actively reconnect after you first disconnect the active home speaker from the mobile device.
Not
e about Bluetooth connection
Use Bluetooth communication to find new devices within 1 meter.

Soundbar support SBC data (44.1kHz, 48kHz).
Only connect to Bluetooth devices that support A2DP (AV) functionality.
You cannot connect an active home speaker to a Bluetooth device that only supports HF (hands-free) functionality.
When connecting active home speakers to Bluetooth devices, place them as close to each other as possible.
The farther away the active home speaker is from the Bluetooth device, the worse the sound quality becomes. The
Bluetooth connection may be disrupted when the device is out of range.
In areas with poor reception, Bluetooth connections may not work properly.
Bluetooth devices may experience noise or malfunction under the following conditions:
– When the subject comes into contact with a signal transceiver on a Bluetooth device or active speaker.
If the device connection fails
If you already have an active host speaker on your TV's speaker list (for example, OXS S5),
remove it.
Then repeat steps 1 to 2.
