General safety regulations
Congratulations
on
the
purchase
of
your
play
center.
Our
systems
meet
the
latest
regulations,
and
the
materials
used
meet
the
European
Standards
EN
71
part
1
and
part
8
for
private
use.
The
wood
has
been
impregnated,
and
is
thereby
protected
against
the
effects
of
the
weather.
These
play
centers
have
been
rigorously
tested
in
order
to
guarantee
safety.
Safety
regulations
for
construction:
Ensure
that
no
children
are
present
during
the
construction
of
the
play
center
and
that
the
play
area
is
used
only
once
a
complete
inspection
has
been
carried
out
of
all
components.
Read
the
assembly
manual
carefully
and
keep
it
for
any
later
modifications
or
extensions.
During
the
assembly
wear
protective
clothing,
such
as
safety
goggles
and
gloves.
Do
not
enter
the
platform
whilst
the
play
center
is
not
yet
fully
constructed.
In
order
to
ensure
the
stability
of
the
playtower
you
must
use
ground
anchors
and
set
them
in
concrete.
Make
sure
that
the
ground
anchors
are
sunk
fully
into
the
ground
so
that
no
one
can
trip
over
them.
Safe
distances:
The
swing
has
to
be
at
least
35
cm
from
ground
level.
The
distance
to
the
single
swing
and
the
other
swinging
products,
as
well
as
to
the
rack,
must
be
at
least
45
cm.
Surroundings
and
ground:
Ensure
that
the
ground
is
not
too
hard
in
view
of
the
necessary
impact
absorption
when
falling.
If
the
ground
is
hard,
loosen
it
up
or
lay
rubber
safety
tiles.
You
must
not
use
hard
surfaces
such
as
concrete,
asphalt,
etc.
This
could
otherwise
lead
to
serious
injury
to
your
children.
Check
the
immediate
surroundings
of
the
play
center
for
potential
dangers
such
as
branches,
washing
lines
or
objects
lying
around.
Improper
use:
Improper
use
and
the
use
of
unsuitable
or
unconventional
materials
such
as
heavy
chains,
bars
or
ropes
relieves
the
manufacturer
of
any
responsibility.
The
same
applies
for
improper
assembly.
Please
do
not
deviate
from
the
assembly
manual
and
do
not
change
anything
in
the
design
or
construction.
Supervision:
Please
be
aware
that
adult
supervision
is
compulsory
and
necessary
when
children
are
playing
on
these
play
centers.
Children
younger
than
3
years
of
age
are
unfortunately
not
allowed
to
use
these
play
centers.
Inspection:
Every
two
weeks
check
to
see
that
screws
and
hooks
are
secure.
Check
the
screws,
fitting
kit,
brackets
and
swing
hooks
for
any
wear
or
rust,
and
check
that
the
ground
anchors
are
secure.
Replace
any
parts
if
necessary.
Check
the
wooden
components
for
splinters
and
cracks
which
can
occur
through
dry
weather
conditions.
Remove
these
if
present.
Wood
maintenance:
Take
care
of
the
wood
with
an
oil-based
exterior
stain
or
buy
the
maintenance
products
directly
from
us.
Under
no
circumstances
are
you
to
apply
a
varnish
or
colour
that
may
result
in
a
smooth
surface.
Plastic
maintenance:
for
cleaning
plastic
components
we
recommend
using
normal
water
and
washing-up
liquid.
In
the
winter
you
can
store
the
plastic
components
in
the
house
or
in
the
garage
in
order
to
protect
them
against
the
natural
ageing
process
of
the
materials.
This
gives
you
more
years
of
pleasurable
use.
Your
play
center
is
solely
for
personal
use.
Stricter
safety
regulations
would
apply
to
public
play
equipment.
