INFLATION AND SET UP
Inflation
Roll out the Power Tower components face up on flat ground. Make sure
the area is free of rocks, sticks or other sharp objects that could puncture
or damage the product. Locate the grey inflation / deflation valves.
NOTE: We highly recommend using the RAVE
High Speed Inflator/Deflator. It will provide rapid
inflation and deflation. (Item #01083, sold
separately).
VALVE OPERATION
To lock open valve, depress the stem and rotate
¼ turn clockwise. To close valve, depress the
stem and rotate ¼ turn counter- clockwise.
Replace cap on valve after inflation to ensure air
tight seal.
If you are using the RAVE
Sports High Speed Inflator (Item #01083, sold
separately), simply lock the adaptor onto the end of
the inflation hose, turn on inflator, then insert
adaptor into valve body. Turn ¼ turn to lock in place.

8
NOTE: RAVE Sports’ inflation adaptor and pressure gauge will
automatically open the valve when inserted and will close the valve when
removed. You do not need to manually open/close the valve when using
this special adaptor.
To Deflate:
Rapid deflation can be achieved using the “deflate” side of the motor
housing. Attach the hose to the deflate side of the motor housing and lock
the valve adaptor into the valve.
Step 1 – Inflate Power Tower
Base until it supports itself
upright but is not completely firm
(approximately 1.0 - 1.5 psi).
! WARNING !

9
Check inflation using the RAVE Sports
digital pressure gauge (#02496, sold
separately). To operate gauge:
1.
Depress “ON” button.
2.
Wait for Self-Calibration to complete and “0.00”digital
display to appear.
3.
Insert gauge into valve & turn ¼ turn Clockwise to lock it in. Wait for gauge
reading to stabilize.
4.
To remove gauge: Rotate1/4 turn Counter Clockwise.
5.
Add/Remove air to achieve minimal operating pressure as statedfor each
module.
6.
Close Valve Cap.
Step 2 – Lay out Power Tower Deck / Slide with yellow rail tubes face up.
Inflate both tubes on top deck firmly.
Step 3 – Inflate Deck / Slide unit firmly (to 1.7 psi).
Step 4 – Lift Deck / Slide unit onto
top of Power Tower Base. Slide
should be oriented on the side of
the Power Tower with the inflation
valves, opposite the vertical wall
side of the Power Tower.

10
Step 5 – Attach Velcro® Brand flap under slide. Ensure edges of flaps
are aligned (1) and single flap hanging down from deck is fully engaged
between the double flap extending up from the base (2). Wipe both sides
with hands to ensure solid contact between hook and loop surfaces (3).
Step 6 – Go to opposite side of Power Tower and connect set of 3 flaps.
Connect long flap to right first (1), then the center flap (2), then the left
side flap (3).
NOTE: It is helpful to have another person on top of the deck to push
down on the deck platform to make it possible for these connections to fit
together tightly (4).

Step 7 – Connect flaps on other
two sides of deck to the Power
Tower base unit. All four sides of
the top deck should now be
connected to the base unit.
Step 8 – Inflate slide side rails firmly (1). Finish inflating Power Tower
base until completely firm (2.0 psi) (2).
Step 9 – Carry – DO NOT DRAG – Power Tower to shallow water.
NOTE: We recommend using a minimum of 5 people to carry the Power
Tower to water (two on each side and one at end of slide).
IMPORTANT: After placing the Power Tower in the water, allow it to
acclimate to the cooler water temperature (approximately 30 minutes).
Recheck the air pressure in the main chamber and add air if necessary to
ensure the product is properly inflated.
It is normal for air pressure within air-filled tubes to fluctuate depending on
air and water temperatures. Cold air will cause minor deflation while warm
air will cause minor inflation. It may be necessary to increase or decrease

the air pressure in your product accordingly. To avoid damage on
extremely hot days it may be necessary to check and release the air
pressure from your product throughout the day. Monitor the air pressure in
the product periodically. Add or let out air as necessary to maintain proper
operating pressure.
IMPORTANT: A boarding platform must
be connected to the Power Tower base
to allow user access to the activity
tower. The Quick Step Solo Boarding
Platform (Item #02954) is included with
the Power Tower for this purpose.
Step 10 – Inflate Quick Step Solo and attach to Power Tower at
connection point on the side of the slide. Attach with Kwik Lok
straps per instructions below. Two Kwik Lok straps are included to
connect the two pieces together.
1.
Attach the snap hook of one Kwik Lok strap to the ring on
the bottom of the Power Tower base.
2.
Feed free end of the strap up through the oval ring on the
side ofthe Power Tower base.
3.
Feed strap down through the side ring of the Quick Step
Solo platform.
4.
Feed strap through the bottom ring of the platform and back
through the metalbuckle.
5.
Leave loose for now. Repeat for the secondstrap.
6.
Tighten both straps until the Power Tower and Platform are
tight against each other.
ALL 3 SIDES OF
STRAP MUST BE
TAUGHT!

13
IMPORTANT: Ensure there is no slack anywhere in the strapping. Hand
adjust if necessary to ensure it is tight and secure between all connection
rings.
Step 11
Attach protective Gap Cap cover to
the VELCROBrand hook and
loop flaps on both modules.
CAUTION: Ensure protective cover
is in place between the Quick Step
Solo and the Power Tower before
operation.
This image demonstrates the
protective Gap Cap cover
properly attached.

14
ANCHORING
IMPORTANT: Proper anchoring is essential for user safety and performance
of the Power Tower. Due to the wide variety of conditions, please consult
with your local experts in mooring and anchoring if necessary. Anchors and
mooring lines are sold separately.
NOTE: There are two anchor rings located on the bottom side of the Power
Tower as well as one anchor ring on the bottom of the Speed Slide.
The type of anchoring system and amount of weight needed to ensure your system will
be anchored safely depends upon the anticipated wind, height of anticipated waves
and the type of lake, river or ocean bottom. For long-term installations with a sand
bottom, land screws are a very solid option. These land screws can be put into the
bottom just over 3 feet (roughly 1 meter). With a solid bottom, land screws typically
remain in the same location whereas other types of anchoring systems can sometimes
move under significant pressure. Placement of land screws requires installation
assistance with a trained and certified scuba diver.
Other types of weighting systems that are readily available could include septic tank
covers, cinder blocks, landscaping blocks, cement tire blocks and other locally
available options.

15
Typical installations begin with attaching a chain to the anchor itself and then
connecting the Anchor Connector kit to that anchor. See the installation manual for the
Anchor Connector Kit for how this is attached. While it is difficult to say exactly what is
necessary for weight for every installation, we suggest anchoring with roughly 100-120
pounds of weight (45-55 kilos) at each anchor point.

Connecting to Power Tower Launch or Other Attachments, Splash
Trax Modules & Other RAVE Sports Products
The Power Tower is a multi-purpose activity tower that is designed for
freestanding use, as a module within a RAVE Sports Splash Trax obstacle
course system, or as connected to various attachments, boarding platforms
and water mats.
Splash Trax modules can be
connected to 2 sides of the
Power Tower.
Attachments such as the Power
Tower Launch are attached on
the side opposite the slide.
Step 1
Bring the Power Tower and a
Power Tower attachment and /
or a Splash Trax module
together so the oval rings on the
side and the VELCRO flaps are
facing each other. Always use
the rings that are farthest apart
and correspond to the mating
rings on the adjacent activity
module.

17
Step 2
Two Kwik Lok straps are used to connect the two pieces together. Follow
the Kwik Lok connection procedure found on page 12 to connect the
Power Tower to Power Tower attachments and / or Splash Trax modules.
CAUTION: Ensure protective covers are in place between all
modules before using the Power Tower system.
Connecting to the Water Whoosh™
A Water Whoosh (15 and 20-foot sizes and available in both grey and
white; sold separately) can be connected to the Power Tower and other
Splash Trax modules using the narrow (28” spacing) connection points.
This unit provides a sliding, slippery surface for added creativity and
enjoyment. Contact us at 800.659.0790 for more information.
Additional specific instructions for connecting a Water Whoosh to other
