Thank you for purchasing your Remote Angel Touching
LCD 8 in 1 teaming Universal Remote Control. Remote Angel
replaces the infrared remote controls for up to eight
audio/video components with each individual component
having a visual display. In complex multibrand
audio/video/home theater applications the macro function
allows one to program all components to turn on or off in
sequence, or to even turn on a component and start your
favorite title. Remote Angel eliminates having numerous
remotes at your table, confusion as to which one to use and
fumbling with switches. Teaching the Remote Angel remote
commands is simple but it does require understanding
clearly the instructions that follow. Please read them
thoroughly.
Enjoy!

component’s diagram and change the look of the operation keys to show
commands that one normally has programmed for that component. To
control a different component just touch the corresponding component

Trouble Shooting Learning Errors
FUNC.
I
When ERROR appears at the end of the learning process an error has
occurred. Release all keys and repeat steps 3 to 6 in the learning remote
commands section. If error appears after several attempts there may be a few
reasons:
%i:
Memory is full - see following section
A-?
Alignment of the two remotes is not correct
J??
You may be holding the button of the component’s remote too long.
Try pressing this button for a shorter period of
time (about 1 se
cond)
while still touching the corresponding button on the
;puracC
A#.
If the sign OK was light, it means the datas of the old remote controller
were acceptable. However, the “Repeat” function of a few keys might be
invalid after learning.
*X.%me
keys will send out “REPEAT” code automatically:
When you operate
M

and find a number you pressed showing
double numbers on the component you are controlling, or when you adjust
stations and volume and find the component skipping

more spaces
automatically, you may try item 3 for settlement.
#It
is normal if you must learn each key twice, because some
;E%rocc
~4+
code is longer then usual.
tlF:
The component’s remote you are trying to learn may be a remote that the
U

cannot learn.
In the rare case “‘ERROR” will not disappear, remove a battery and wait
a minute before replacing.
This will re-boot the

computer.
All previously learned functions will be maintained in memory
but the distinct layout of the key editing function you may have programmed
may be erased
Memory

When
ERROR flashes during all learnin
g processes, 311 of the memory of
the unit has been used. This should only happen when quite a few remotes
and/or macros have been learned. If you would li
ke to program a key that
you need you may use the Delete Key Function to delete a less important key
first. This will
allow
you to proceed with learning.

After you have taught the

all functions required to control the
components of your system you may proceed to use it as your main remote.
1.
Touch the component you
wish
to control from the Component Select Area.
2. Touch the key in the Operation Key Area you wish to use.
The OK indicator appears to show that there is no error.
NOTES:

The
ERROR indicator appears when the key you touched is either not
programmed or programmed incorrectly. Return to the programming area
and re-learn the key so that you may use it.

BATLOW
indicates
batteries are low and need to be replaced.
There is no difference between
SUR-9000
and
IR-01
except that
SUR-
9000 is available with Back Light function. That is why SUR-9000 enables
you to operate your electronic component easily even if you are in the dark. It
is a fascinating design for users of projection equipment.
The operation of SWR-9000
,
which has an auto Back Light function
,
and
that of
IR-01
are the same. The Back Light can be switched ON/OFF
automatically because SUR-9000 has auto-detect lighting function. In the dark,
you only need to press any key
,
and the Back Light will light up the screen for
about 5 seconds and then shut off automatically. If you
are
in continuous
operation, the Back Light will shut off automatically 5 seconds after you press
the last key.
When the
memory is
full
the “ERROR” indicator appears during
learning.
If there are any unnecessary keys you must delete them.
1.
Turn
on the FUNC. Switch, then touches the component in the
component select area you wish to delete a key for.
2. Touch DELETE key for about 2 seconds and release. You are now in
the delete
key
mode.
3. DELETE
indicator flashes quickly
4. Touch
the
key you wish to delete and it’s memory is automatically
deleted.
5. DELETE indicator disappears when either a key is touched or
DELETE button is pressed.
This
exits
the delete key mode.

The MACRO mode allows one to learn up to 10 steps within 1 button.
If
your system includes more than one component you will find yourself
constantly fumbling to turn on the TV, VCR, LD and an AMP. The Macro
function of the
&WCC
#+
allows you to do all this just by touching the
MACRO key and then any 1 key you have programmed with ail the
functions you wish to perform.
1. Turn on the FUNC. Switch, then touches LEARN key for 2 seconds and
the LEARN indicator will appear.
2. Touch MACRO and you are now in Macro mode.
3. Touch the component you wish to set up a macro in, from the component
select area.
4. Touch
a key that has not been previously programmed. This will be the
key that initiates the MACRO
5. Now touch the first key in the MACRO i.e. TV-POWER, then choose
the next component in the component select area you wish the turn on
and press this key and so on up to ten separate keys.
6. Touch MACRO key to finish the complex-operation function
7. Touch LEARN again to end the macro
learning
function and the
LEARN indicator disappears.
