Thank you for purchasing this quality RipTunes digital music player. Please
read all the operating instructions before operating the unit and keep this
manual in a safe place for later consultation.

BASIC OPERATION
Power on/o
1. Press and hold the home/select button to turn the player on or o.
Note: The player standby time setting will automatically turn o your player after
a certain lapse of inactivity. You can modify this setting. While the music player
is connected to a PC, the standby function is temporarily disabled. As well, if the
player is currently in “Hold” mode, the home/power button will not be responsive.
Low battery
1. The player display will show a low battery alert.
2. Plug in your player to recharge as soon as possible.
Note: If your digital music player has insucient power it will automatically
turn o to prevent damage to the electronics.
EXPANSION CARD
1. Gently insert a MicroSD card by lightly pressing on the rear edge of the
card.
2. To remove the MicroSD card, lightly press on the card and the card will
come out partially. Gently pinch the card and pull away from the player
to remove it completely.

PLAYER FUNCTIONS
Main menu
1. Use your ngertip to select between the following menu options
• Music
• Videos
• Camera
• Bluetooth
• Recorder
• Radio
• Photos
• Browser
• Settings
MUSIC MODE
1. Select MUSIC in the main menu.
2. Select the song you’d like to play by selecting it from among the catego-
ries on the screen.
Playback settings
During music playback, press the icon to adjust the following playback settings:
• Select EQ: Choose between Normal, Pop, Classic, Soft, Jazz, Rock, DBB
and User equalizer settings.
• Play mode: Choose Sequence (normal playback), Repeat One (repeating
a single track), Repeat All, Shue, Shue and Repeat, and intro (plays
the rst several seconds of every song).
• Screen Size (allows display of audio Spectrum or Lyrics)

• Add to My Playlist: Add a song to the current playlist
• Set rating: rate your favorite songs
• AB Replay: Select a point A and a point B in a specic song; the track will
play back from point A to point B.
• Delete: Delete the le
• Advanced: Advanced le settings
• EQ Settings: Modify User EQ for use in “Select EQ” above.
• Information: View song le information
Press the icon to return to the main menu.
Lyric les
Your music player can display lyrics during MP3 playback. Ensure that the LRC
lyric le and the MP3 le have the exact same name and are in the same folder.
Example: “My Moon My Man.mp3” and “My Moon My Man.lrc”.

VIDEO MODE
1. Select VIDEOS in the main menu.
2. Choose the video you’d like to watch from among the folders listed by
touching on the screen.
Managing video les
Press the icon to manage your videos and select the following settings
• Now playing: View le information for the video currently playing
• Play modes: Choose normal playback, repeating a single video, folder
playback, repeat all videos in a folder, repeat all videos, shue, and intro
(plays the rst several seconds of every video).
• Add Tag: Add a Tag to the video le
• Resume: Resume video playback
• Delete: Delete the le
• Information: View song le information
Press the icon to return to the main menu.
CAMERA: PHOTO MODE
1. Select the CAMERA in the main menu.
2. Press the shutter button on the screen or press the select/home button
to take photos.

Camera options
With the camera activated, press the icon to enter the camera settings sub-menu.
• Picture playback: Shows photos already taken with the camera
• White balance: Alter the camera’s white balance
• Brightness: Increase or decrease the brightness of photos (-3 to +3)
• Exposure mode: Adjust the camera exposure settings
• Face detection: Activate face detection
• Photo Stickers: Add photo stickers/backgrounds.
• Special eects: Add special eects to your photos.
• Save path: Choose between Internal Memory or Card Memory storage.
• Resolution: Increase or decrease the le size and quality of photos
(640x480 up to 2048x1536)
• Available Memory Space: Displays available memory storage space
• Self-timer: Delay taking photos from 5 to 20 seconds after pressing the
shutter button
• Continuous shooting: Allow continuous picture shooting for action pho-
tos (5 to 30 seconds).
• Date stamp: Add the date or date and time on new camera photos.

CAMERA: VIDEO MODE
1. Select the CAMERA in the main menu.
2. Press the swap arrow icon to enter video recording; press the home/
select button to begin recording or stop recording.
Camera options
With the camera activated, press the icon to enter the camera settings
sub-menu.
• Video Playback: View videos already saved.
• White balance: Alter the camera’s white balance
• Brightness: Increase the brightness of videos
• Exposure mode: Adjust the camera exposure settings
• Special eects: Add special eects to your videos
• Save path: Choose between Internal Memory or Card Memory storage.
• Resolution: Increase or decrease the le size and quality of videos (from
176x144 up to 640x480). Default is 320x240
• Available memory space: Displays available memory storage space.

BLUETOOTH
1. Select BLUETOOTH in the main menu
2. Turn Bluetooth on or o
Pairing
1. Ensure your Bluetooth headphones’ or speakers’ detection mode is ac-
tivated.
2. Tap on “Search for Devices” to view Bluetooth devices within range (30
feet maximum distance).
3. Tap “Device List”
4. Find your device in the list and tap the device’s name
5. Tap “Connect Bluetooth”
6. To disconnect from a device:

VOICE RECORDER
1. Select RECORDER in the main menu.
2. Press the home/select button to begin or end recording.
Recording options
Press the icon to enter the voice recorder conguration sub-menu.
• Recording format: Choose the recording format (WAV, MP3 or WMA)
• Recording quality: Choose the recording quality (low, medium, high).
• Save path: Choose between Internal Memory or Card Memory storage.

FM RADIO
1. Plug in wired earphones or headphones.
2. Start the FM tuner by selecting RADIO in the main menu.
Radio settings
Press the icon while in the FM RADIO mode to access the following settings:
• Save Channel: Save the current frequency for quick access.
• Auto search: Press to scan all frequencies and detect all broadcast chan-
nels.
• Channel list: Lists all broadcast frequencies detected.
• FM Record: Record the current radio broadcast; press the red dot or
home/select key to start and stop recording.
• Recording quality: Choose the quality of the recording; (low, medium,
high).
• Save path: Choose between Internal Memory or Card Memory storage.
• FM Sensitivity: Choose how sensitive the unit is in picking up remote sta-
tions (low, medium, high).
• User Channel List: Choose from among custom programmed channels.
• Tuner region: Select your geographical region.
• Mute: Cut radio sound playback
• Delete: Removes a frequency from the saved list

PHOTOS
1. Select PHOTOS in the main menu.
2. Browse through your photos
3. Tap on a photo you would like to view on screen
Managing photos
Press the icon while viewing a photo to manage that picture.
• Rotate: Change the orientation of a photo
• Zoom: Zoom in or out of a photo to appreciate details
• Slide interval: Change the time between photos during a slideshow.
• Slide eect: Change the transition eect when changing photos in a slide-
show
• Delete: Delete a particular le
• Information: View le details.
SETTINGS
1. Select SETTINGS in the main menu.
• Bluetooth: Access the Bluetooth settings of your device
• Display: Change the brightness and backlight shut-o.
• Power Saving: Adjust Idle time and Sleep time.
• Date & Time: Congure the current date and time

• Language: Choose between English, Spanish, and French
• Advanced: Use to adjust menu eects, format the unit (erasing all data)
and more.
CONNECTING YOUR PLAYER TO A COMPUTER
1. Plug the USB cable in to your computer
2. Use a le browser (Windows Explorer, Mac OS Finder) to move les to
and from your portable music player.
Note: only supported le formats can be read by the portable music player,
but you may copy any le to and from the device. Consult the technical spec-
ications for readable formats.

TROUBLESHOOTING
The player does not work
• Check if the battery is charged
• Check that the power button is on
• Check the volume and that your headphones are properly connected
• Check the music le format
• Check the disk format. Should be FAT32
I can’t transfer les to/from the player
• Check the USB cable connection
The player does not make voice recordings
• Check the available memory space
• Check if the battery is charged
Strange characters appear on the screen
• Check the display language in the device settings
FM radio plays static or distortion
• Adjust the position of the headphone wires; they are the antenna.

OPERACIÓN BÁSICA
Encendido y Apagado (on/o)
1. Presione el botón de para apagar el reproductor
Nota: El ajuste del tiempo en espera apagará el reproductor después de cierto tiempo
de inactividad. Puede modicar este ajuste. Mientras el reproductor está conectado
a la PC la función de espera está temporalmente deshabilitada. También, si el re-
productor está en modo de “tiempo de espera” el botón de estará deshabilitado.
Batería baja
1. El reproductor mostrará un mensaje con la alerta de batería baja
2. Conecte el reproductor para recargarlo tan pronto como sea posible
Nota: Si su reproductor digital de música no tiene energía suciente se apa-
gará automáticamente para evitar daños en sus circuitos
Tarjeta de expansión
1. Suavemente inserte la tarjeta MicroSD al presionar ligeramente en la
orilla de la tarjeta
2. Para retirar la tarjeta MicroSD, empuje la tarjeta con suavidad hacia ad-
entro y esto hará que sea expulsada. Tome la tarjeta con la punta de los
dedos y retírela completamente del reproductor.

Ajustes de la reproducción
Mientras la música se esté reproduciendo, presione el ícono para modicar los
siguientes ajustes del reproductor:
• Modo de Ecualizador: elija entre las opciones: Normal, Rock, Pop, Classic,
Soft, Jazz, DBB y ajustes del Ecualizador.
• Modos de reproducción: Elegir secuencia (reproducción normal), Repe-
tir Una (repetir una sola pista), Repetir Todas, Reproducción Aleatoria,
l Reproducción Aleatoria y Repetir, e Introducción (repite los primeros
segundos de cada canción)
• Tamaño de la pantalla (permite el despliegue de espectro de audio o
