SAFETY INSTRUCTIONS
INTRODUCTION:
Congratulations on your purchase of the Riptunes Portable CD/MP3 AM/FM Stereo System with Bluetooth®.
Before using your speaker system, please read through this manual. This manual will help you use many of the
exciting and useful features of your new unit.
WARNING
PLEASE READ THIS MANUAL CAREFULLY BEFORE OPERATING AND RESERVE IT FOR FUTURE
REFERENCE. IT WILL BE HELPFUL TO YOU IF YOU ENCOUNTER ANY OPERATING PROBLEM.
1) WARNING: To reduce the risk of electric shock, do not remove the cover or back of the units. There are no
user-serviceable parts inside. Contact technical support for further assistance.
2) WARNING: To prevent fire or electric shock hazard, do not expose the unit to rain or moisture.
3) Do not expose the adapter and portable CD/MP3 Bluetooth® Stereo System to any water (including drips or
splashes). Objects filled with liquids, such as vases and water bottles, should not be placed on the unit.
4) Keep the stereo system away from direct sunlight and heat sources such as radiators or stoves.
5) Do not place the stereo system on an unstable table, stand, tripod, bracket or cart. The unit may fall, resulting in
possible damage or injury.
6) The device should be situated so that its location or position does not interfere with its proper ventilation. For
example, the appliance should not be situated on a bed, sofa, rug or similar surface that may block the ventilation
openings, or placed in a built-in installation, such as a bookcase or cabinet, that may impede the flow of air
through the ventilation openings.
7) Only use the AC adapter included with the stereo system. Using any other adapter will void your warranty.
8) Unplug the power from the outlet when the unit is not in use.
9) Dispose of this unit properly respecting your local laws for electronics and battery disposal.
10) CAUTION: Danger of explosion if battery is incorrectly replaced. Replace only with the same or equivalent type of
battery.
11) WARNING: The batteries shall not be exposed to excessive heat such as sunlight, fire or any other heat source.
12) WARNING: Only use attachments/accessories specified provided by the manufacturer, using the included AC
adapter.

Your unit can operate using the supplied AC/DC Adapter or via 8 “C” type batteries (not
included). If using batteries, be sure to insert each battery with the correct polarity as
indicated by the "+" and "–" symbols. Incorrect use of batteries can cause electrolyte
leakage and will corrode the compartment or cause the batteries to burst. Therefore:
• Do not mix battery types: e.g. alkaline with carbon zinc. Only use batteries of the same
type for the set.
• When inserting new batteries, do not try to mix old batteries with new ones.
• Remove the batteries if the set is not to be used for a long time.
General operation
1. To power on unit, press and hold FUNCTION STANDBY for three seconds.
2. To select your sound source press the FUNCTION STANDBY button momentarily to cycle
through the following options: CD/BLUETOOTH/FM/AM
3. Adjust the sound level with the VOL - and VOL + buttons. Current volume level is
indicated by the display during volume change. It ranges from UOO to U2O.
4. To switch off the set, press and hold FUNCTION STANDBY for two seconds.
Note: It is recommended that you turn the unit off when not in use to avoid
unnecessary energy consumption.
RADIO OPERATION
1. Use the FUNCTION STANDBY button to choose either AM or FM.
2. Press the and buttons to adjust the radio frequency.
For better reception
FM: Pull out the soft antenna. (This is the wrapped wire coming out of the back of the
unit.) Let the antenna hang loose in an open area.
AM: Reposition the unit. (The AM antenna is an internal, fixed, device.)
Radio Preset
The radio can be programmed with “presets” so that you can easily jump from one favorite
radio station to another. For FM, up to 20 stations can be programmed; for AM, up to 10.
1. Use the and buttons to select the frequency to be preset.
2. Press the PROG button. Program number “PO1” will flash in the display.
3. Press the PROG button again. The current radio frequency is now stored into memory,
and the program number changes to “PO2”, waiting for your next selection.
4. Repeat steps 1 to 3 to program additional tracks.
5. After programming is finished, press the M+ or M- buttons to navigate between preset
stations.

CD/MP3 Disc Section
Playing a Disc
1. Open the CD door.
2. Hold the disc with the label side facing up and press it onto the spindle until it clicks into
place.
3. Press FUNCTION STANDBY and cycle through the options until the display shows CD with a
blinking “----“. The disc will rotate for a few seconds. If the disc is a standard audio CD,
the total number of tracks will be displayed and then it will start playing automatically. If
the disc is an MP3 CD, the display will show “MP3”and then it will start playing
automatically. Adjust the volume as desired.
4. Press the button again to stop playing temporarily. The indicator will begin to flash.
Resume playing by pressing the button again.
5. To stop playback, press the STOP button. The total number of tracks will be shown on the
display.
TRACK SEARCH
Press the button to skip to the next track on the disc.
Press the button skip back to previous track.
FORWARD/REVESE SEARCH
Press and hold the or button during play to scan the current track at high speed.
When the desired section of the track is found, release the button and normal play will
resume.
PROGRAM PLAY
The tracks on the disc can be programmed to play in any order. Up to 20 tracks can be
programmed.
1. Press the PROG button while in stop mode. Program number “PO1” will flash and shown in
the display.
2. Press the or buttons to select the first track to be programmed.
3. Press the PROG button. The first track number is now stored into memory, and the
program number changes to “PO2”, waiting for your next selection.
4. Repeat steps 2 and 3 to program additional tracks.
5. After programming is finished, press the button, and program play begins from the first
programmed track. The player stops automatically after all programmed tracks have
been played.
Single track repeat
Press the CD MODE PROG/MEM button once during play. The “REP” sign will be displayed.
Press the or buttons to select a track to repeat.
This track will then play repeatedly until you press the STOP button.
All track repeat
Press CD MODE PROG/MEM button twice, the “REP ALL” sign will be displayed.

All tracks will keep playing in sequence and repeat until you press the STOP button.
Random Function
Press CD MODE PROG/MEM button third time, the “RAND” sign will be displayed. All the
tracks will play randomly.
To resume, press CD MODE PROG/MEM button again, the “RAND” sign will disappear.
HEADPHONE JACK
The unit is equipped with a Headphone Jack for private listening. Simply plug any 3.5mm
(1/8”) plug type stereo headphone into the Headphone Jack. With the headphone
connected the speaker in the unit will be automatically disconnected.
AUX INPUT JACK
1. In any mode, plug in a standard 3.5mm (1/8”) connector type Auxiliary cable (not
included) into the Aux-In jack and connect the other end to the line-out or headphone
jack of any standard audio device.
2. The device will automatically enter Aux mode. Display will show AU. Play music from your
attached device as usual. Use the volume controls on the stereo system to adjust
sound level.
BLUETOOTH®
1. Press the FUNCTION STANDBY button and switch to Bluetooth® Mode. The display should
indicate “bLUE” along with the Bluetooth Logo.
2. Use your Bluetooth® compatible device and find CDB320 to pair up with. For instructions
on how to pair up with your device, please refer to your device’s manual.
3. Once connected, you can play audio files from your device, or press the PLAY/PAUSE
button to start playing the most recently played Audio file from your device.
4. Use the or buttons to move between songs.
5. Use the Volume –or Volume + button to adjust the volume.
6. Use the Play/Pause button to play or pause the playing audio file.
7. To end the Bluetooth Function, simply Press the FUNCTION STANDBY button or disconnect
the connection from your Bluetooth® compatible device. For instructions on how to
disconnect from your device, please refer to your device’s manual.
CONDENSATION
Condensation occurs:
When the unit is brought from the outdoors into a warm room, or if it is in a cold room
which is heated quickly.
In the summer, if the unit is moved suddenly from an air-conditioned room or car to a hot
or humid location.
Should condensation occur, the product may not operate property. When the product

Su unidad puede funcionar con el adaptador de AC/DC suministrado o con 8 pilas tipo "C"
(no incluidas). Si utiliza pilas, asegúrese de insertar cada batería con la polaridad correcta a

Funcionamiento General
1. Para encender la unidad, presione y mantenga presionado el botón STANDBY
durante tres segundos.
2. Para seleccionar la fuente de sonido pulse el botón STANDBY momentáneamente
para desplazarse por las siguientes opciones: CD / Bluetooth / FM / AM.
3. Ajuste el nivel de sonido con los botones VOL - y VOL +. El nivel de volumen actual se
indica en la pantalla durante el cambio de volumen. Va desde UOO a U2O.
4. Para apagar el aparato, mantenga pulsado el botón STANDBY durante dos
segundos.
Nota: Se recomienda que apague la unidad cuando no esté en uso para evitar el
consumo innecesario de energía.
FUNCIONAMIENTO DEL RADIO
1. Utilice el botón el botón STANDBY para elegir AM o FM.
2. Presione los botones y para ajustar la radio frecuencia.
Para una mejor recepción
FM: Jale la antena suave ( es un cable enrollado que viene en la parte posterior de la
unidad). Deje que la antena cuelgue suelta en un área abierta.
AM: Reubique la unidad. (La antena AM es un dispositivo interno y fijo).
Preajustes del Radio
El radio puede programarse con “preajustes” de modo en que pueda cambiar de una a
otra de sus estaciones favoritas. Para FM se pueden preajustar hasta 20 estaciones; para AM
hasta 10.
1. Utilice los botones y para seleccionar la frecuencia que va a preajustar.
2. Presione el botón PROG. El numero de programa “PO1” parpadeará en la pantalla.
3. Presione nuevamente el botón PROG. La radiofrecuencia actual quedará almacenada
en memoria y el número de programa cambiará a “PO2”, esperando su siguiente
selección de frecuencia de radio.
4. Repita los pasos 1 a 3 para programar otras frecuencias.
5. Ya que la programación ha terminado, presione los botones MEMORY + o MEMORY -

para navegar por las estaciones de radio preajustadas.
Sección de discos CD/MP3
Reproduciendo un disco
1. Abra la puerta del CD.
2. Sostenga el disco con la etiqueta hacia arriba y presione sobre el eje hasta oír un clic
que indica que está ha quedado en su lugar.
3. Presione el botón STANDBY haciendo un ciclo por las opciones hasta que el dispositivo
muestre CD con “----“parpadeando. El disco girará por algunos segundos. Si el disco es
un CD de audio estándar se desplegará el número de pistas que tiene y comenzará a
reproducirse automáticamente. Si el disco es un CD MP3 la pantalla mostrará “MP3” y
comenzará a reproducirse automáticamente. Ajuste el volumen según lo desee.
4. Presione el botón para detener temporalmente la reproducción. El indicador
comenzará a parpadear. Continúe la reproducción presionando nuevamente el botón
.
5. Para detener la reproducción presione el botón STOP (Parar). En la pantalla se mostrará
en número de pistas.
BÚSQUEDA DE PISTAS
Presione el botón para saltar a la siguiente pista del disco.
Presione el botón saltar a la pista anterior del disco.
BÚSQUEDA ADELANTANDO/RETROCEDIENDO
Presione y sostenga el botón o durante la reproducción para revisar la pista actual a
alta velocidad.
Cuando encuentre la sección deseada de la pista libere el botón y continuará la
reproducción normal.
PROGRAMAR LA REPRODUCCIÓN
Las pistas en el disco pueden programarse para reproducirse en cualquier orden. Se
pueden programar hasta 20 pistas.
1. Presione el botón PROG estando en modo STOP. En la pantalla parpadeará en número
de programa “PO1”
2. Presione los botones o para seleccionar la primera pista a programar.
3. Presione nuevamente el botón PROG. El primer número de pista ha sido almacenado en
y el número de programa cambiará a “PO2”, en espera de su siguiente selección.
4. Repita los pasos 2 y 3 para programar las siguientes pistas.
5. Al terminar la programación presione el botón y la reproducción comenzará con la
primera pista programad. La reproducción se detendrá cuando se reproduzcan todas
las pistas que fueron programadas.
Repetir una sola pista
Presione el botón CD MODE/PROG MEM una vez durante la reproducción. Se mostrará en la
pantalla el letrero “REP”. Presione los o para seleccionar la pista a repetir.
Esta pista se repetirá hasta que presione el botón STOP.

Repetir todas las pistas
Presione dos veces el botón CD MODE/PROG MEM, y se mostrará en la pantalla el letrero
“REP ALL”.
Todas las pistas se repetirán en secuencia hasta que presione el botón STOP.
Función aleatoria
Presione tres veces el botón CD MODE/PROG MEM, y se mostrará en la pantalla el letrero
“RAND”. Todas las pistas se reproducirán en forma aleatoria.
Para continuar presione nuevamente el botón CD MODE/PROG MEM y desparecerá el
letrero “RAND” de la pantalla.
CONECTOR PARA AURICULARES
Esta unidad está equipada con un conector para auriculares para escuchar su música de
forma privada. Solamente conecte cualquier tipo de auriculares con conector de 3.5mm
(1/8”) en el conector para auriculares. Al estar conectados los auriculares, la bocina de la
unidad estará desconectada.
CONECTOR PARA ENTRADA AUXILIAR (AUX)
1. Estando en cualquier modo, conecte un conector de cable auxiliar estándar de 3,5 mm
(1/8 ") (no incluido) en la entrada auxiliar, y conecte el otro extremo cualquier
dispositivo de audio estándar .
2. El dispositivo entra automáticamente al modo AUX. La pantalla mostrará el letrero AU.
Reproduzca como de costumbre la música de su dispositivo recién conectado. Utilice
los controles de volumen del sistema estéreo para ajustar el nivel de sonido.
BLUETOOTH®
1. Presione el botón STANDBY y cambie al modo Bluetooth®. En la pantalla debe mostrarse
el letrero “bLUE” junto con el logotipo Bluetooth.
2. Utilice su dispositivo compatible con Bluetooth® y encuentre a CDB320 para hacer el
enlace. Para saber cómo enlazar su dispositivo consulte el manual que vino con su él.
3. Una vez conectado reproduzca los archivos de música desde su dispositivo o presione el
botón PLAY/PAUSE para comenzar a reproducir los archivos más recientemente
reproducidos en su dispositivo.
4. Utilice los botones o para cambiar las canciones.
5. Utilice los botones Volume –o Volume + para ajustar el volumen.
6. Utilice el botón Play/Pause para reproducir o pausar la reproducción del archivo de
audio actual.
7. Para terminar la función Bluetooth, presione el botón STANDBY o desconecte su
dispositivo compatible con Bluetooth®. Para saber cómo desconectar su dispositivo

CONDENSACIÓN
La condensación se produce:
Cuando se traslada la unidad desde el exterior a una habitación caliente, o si está en
una habitación fría que se calienta rápidamente.
En el verano, si la unidad se traslada repentinamente de un cuarto con aire
acondicionado o en coche a un lugar cálido o húmedo.
En caso de producirse condensación, el producto puede no funcionar
adecuadamente. Cuando el dispositivo está expuesto a temperaturas extremas,
espere de 1 a 2 horas (para permitir que las partes internas se ajusten a la
temperatura ambiente) antes de ponerlo en funcionamiento.
MANEJANDO UN DISCO COMPACTO
Siempre proteja el disco de ralladuras, polvo, tierra, etc. Si un disco se trata con cuidados
razonables, la limpieza del disco con un paño suave deberá mantener la calidad de sonido
original. Los discos deben guardarse en su estuche original durante los períodos de
inactividad.
Maneje el disco sólo por sus orillas. No toque la superficie o el lado de colores arco iris del
disco.
Maneje el disco como se indica en los dos ejemplos que se muestran.
Utilice un paño suave para limpiar un disco. No utilice benceno, disolvente ni otros
productos químicos para limpiar el disco ya que podría averiarse. Un disco siempre
debe ser borrado en línea recta desde su centro hasta su borde. Nunca limpie el
disco con un movimiento circular.
No exponga el disco a la luz directa del sol, alta humedad o altas temperaturas
durante períodos prolongados de tiempo. No coloque el disco sobre otro equipo o
cerca de cualquier fuente de calor.
El polvo en la lente de lectura puede dar lugar a un funcionamiento errático o la
interrupción del sonido durante la reproducción. Para limpiar la lente lectora, abra la
tapa del CD y sople el polvo. Utilice un soplador de lente de cámara (disponible en la
mayoría de tiendas de cámaras).
Nota: No toque la superficie de la lente. No permita ningún líquido en la parte interior
del producto.
Para limpiar el gabinete de reproductor de CD, utilice un paño suave y húmedo para
limpiar la superficie exterior. Nunca use benceno, benceno u otros productos
químicos de limpieza abrasivos, ya que pueden dañar el acabado.

Source de courant
Votre appareil peut fonctionner en utilisant l’adaptateur CA/CC fourni ou via 8 piles de

1. Pour allumer l’appareil, appuyez et maintenez FUNCTION STANDBY pendant trois
secondes.
2. Pour sélectionner votre source sonore, appuyez sur la touche FUNCTION STANDBY
momentanément pour faire défiler les options suivantes : CD/BLUETOOTH/FM/AM
3. Réglez le niveau sonore avec les boutons VOL - et VOL +. Le niveau de volume actuel
est indiqué par l’affichage lors du changement de volume. Il va de UOO à U2O.
4. Pour éteindre l’appareil, appuyez et maintenez FUNCTION STANDBY pendant deux
secondes.
Note : Il est recommandé que vous éteignez l’appareil lorsqu’il n’est pas utilisé pour
éviter la consommation inutile d’énergie.
FONCTIONNEMENT DE RADIO
1. Utilisez le bouton FUNCTION STANDBY pour choisir entre AM ou FM.
2. Appuyez les boutons et pour ajuster la fréquence de radio.
Pour une meilleure réception
FM : Sortez l’antenne molle. (C’est le fil gainé sortant de l’arrière de l’appareil.) Laissez
l’antenne sortie dans une zone ouverte.
AM : Repositionner l’appareil. (L’antenne AM est un dispositif interne fixe.)
Préréglage de radio
La radio peut être programmée avec des « préréglages » de sorte que vous pouvez
facilement passer d’une station de radio préférée à l’autre. Pour FM, jusqu’à 20 stations
peuvent être programmées; alors que pour AM c’est jusqu’à 10.
1. Utilisez les boutons et pour sélectionner la fréquence à prérégler.
2. Appuyez sur la touche PROG. Le numéro de programme « PO1 » clignotera dans l’écran
