Operation manual for the Camplifier`s mains voltage selector switch
Thank you for purchasing your Camplifier add on amplifier module for the Kemper Profiling
Amplifier.
Your Camplifier comes with a mains voltage selector switch which will enable you to use
the Camplifier world wide.
Different countries have different mains voltage standards.
or example, all European countries will have a mains supply of 220-240V @ 50Hz,
whereas the United States of America will provide 120V @ 60Hz.
To use your Camplifier in a 120V country, for example, you need to select the appropriate
mains input voltage at the Camplifier`s voltage selector switch.

Mains voltage selection procedure
1. Please inform yourself about the mains voltage standard of the country your are in
before connecting the Camplifier with a power cord to a mains supply socket.
There are basically two groups of mains supply standards in the world.
One group could be named “115V” where mains voltages can vary between
110-1 0VAC.
The second group will be the “ 30V” group, where mains voltage can vary between
0-40VAC.
The Camplifier`s voltage selector switch has two positions (115V and 230V).
When switched to the 115V position, the Camplifier can operate from voltages
between
110-1 0VAC @ 50-60Hz.
When switched to the 30V position, the unit can operate from voltages between
0- 40V @ 50-60Hz.
The pointer will indicate the
voltage group the switch is
switched to (115V here).
2. Disconnect the power cord from the Camplifiers mains input socket !
3. Switch O the power switch to its “0” position.
4. Turn the voltage selector switch to the required mains input voltage. Use a flat
screw driver for that.
5. Select the appropriate fuse value for your voltage selection.
For a safe operation, the mains input fuse must be selected according to the mains
input voltage.

115V 2AT (slow blow)
230V 1AT (slow blow)
Exchanging the fuse is easy.
Use a small flat screw driver to pry out the mains fuse compartment :
You will then see two 5x20mm fuses.
The fuse closer to the socket is the active fuse. The fuse at the outside of the fuse holder
is a spare fuse.
The Camplifier will come with the correct fuse inserted in the active position
according to the mains input voltage selection your Camplifier comes with.

The AT fuse will be marked with a red dot on both sides of the fuse body :
This makes it easy for you to identify the 2AT fuse.
Put the appropriate fuse into the active position !!!

Put the other fuse in the spare fuse position, so you won’t loose it.
Push the fuse holder back into the mains socket.
6. Double check your voltage selection and fuse selection.
Connect the power cord to the mains socket and switch ON the power switch.
Your Camplifier is now ready to ROCK !
ATTENTION :
Switching the mains input voltage switch to the wrong position
(to 115V in 230V Germany, for example) will
DAMAGE or even DESTROY the Camplifier !
Choosing the wrong fuse value will lead to blown fuses or will damage the Camplifier.
