Rocmount ProM DRM – Desk/Rack Mount (Single Rail Attachement)
Horizontal Mount to Desk or Cabinet side: (Through Hole)
1. Using mount ng template from shipping carton, place at locat on bracket s to be mounted and mark the four
mounting holes.
2.Using a 5/32 or .140 drill, drill four through holes into the desk or mounting surface
3. Install the mounting bracket using the hardware provided: Screw 6-32 X 1 1/8"L Pan Head PH (4 each); #6 Split
Lock Washer (4 each) #6 Flat Washer (8 each) #6 Hex Nut Self Locking (4 each) as shown (You will need to
separate the mounting bracket from the Horizontal Mounting assembly.) Tighten all hardware until the mounting
bracket is firmly attached to the mounting surface (See Figure 1)
4. Install the MAC® PRO onto the computer mounting bracket using the clamps provided, using a flat Horizontal
work surface such as a desk or workbench. Make sure the thumbscrews are tight and the MAC® PRO is secure.(See
Figure 3.) A pictorial of assembling the MAC® PRO into its bracket while resting on a horizontal surface is shown in
Fi ure 2 below.

Velcro Staps
5.Carefully slide the ProM bracket assembly into the mounted bracket. Using the two thumbscrews on the front of
the bracket assembly, tighten thumbscrews into the mounting bracket. (See Figure 4.)
6. lnstalt external cables and tie along the mounting bracket using Velcro straps provided as shown.(See Figure 3.)

Horizontal Mountinq: (Wood Screws)
1. Using mounting template from shipping carton, place at location bracket is to be Mounted and mark the four
mounting holes.
2. Using a 1/16 drill as a pilot drill, drill four pilot holes into the desk or mounting surface.
3. Install the mounting bracket using the hardware provided: #6-18 X 5/8" PH Rd HD Woodscrews as shown
(4 each). (You will need to separate the mounting bracket from the Horizontal Mounting assembly.)
Tighten all hardware until the mounting bracket is firmly attached to the mounting surface {See Figure 1).
4. Install the MAC® PRO onto the computer mounting bracket using the clamps provided, using a flat
horizontal work surface such as a desk or workbench. Make sure the thumbscrews are tight and the MAC® PRO
is secure. {See Figure 3.) A pictorial of assembling the MAC® PRO into its bracket while resting on a horizontal
surface is shown in Figure 2.
5.Carefully slide the ProM bracket assembly into the mounted bracket, using the two thumbscrews on the
front of the bracket assembly; tighten thumbscrews into the mounting bracket. {See Figure 4.)
6.Install external cables and tie along the mounting bracket using Velcro straps provided as shown. (See
Figure 3.)
Rackmount Installation
1.Separate the two mounting brackets in the Horizontal Mounting Kit. Using Mounting Bracket PN XBK-11333,
two (2) Cage Nuts and two (2) 10-32 X 5/8" Truss Screws, install the cage nuts into the rack cabinet vertical rail
where required. Mount the Bracket XBK-11333 in the Rack using the two screws and securely tighten the
screws. (See Figure 5.).
