4SIM CARD PRE-INSTALLATION
a) GSM Sim Only
b) SIM card should have its GPRS function enabled.
c) SMS request will function only if Caller ID function is enabled.
d) If SIM card is locked via PIN, please unlock SIM.
5SIM CARD INSTALLATION
1) Remove the 6 screws of the Black Box device using the screwdriver supplied.
2) Insert the SIM card into the slot with the contact side facing down and with the angle to the left
(follow the signs of 'sticker placed over the slot).
3) Dial the telephone number of the SIM card installed in the device and see if you hear the ringing
tone. If so the SIM card is installed correctly.

6DEVICE INSTALLATION
a) The red wire should be connected to the positive terminal of the battery
b) The black wire should be connected to the negative pole of the battery
c) The supply voltage must be between 12 and 36V
6) Use the Adhesive velcro (3) and/or the plastic cable tie (4) to install the device
7LED LIGHTS / RECHARGE DEVICE
The device is equipped with three LED lights (1) that light up to indicate:
a) Red LED: battery charging is in progress (to fully charge the necessary time is about 8 hours)
b) Green LED: the search for the GSM signal is in progress
c) Blue LED: the search for the GPS signal is in progress
During normal operation, the green LED and the blue LED are off. If they remain on indicate a problem
of lack of GSM and / or GPS signal reception.
8TRACKING AND STATISTICS
All owners of the BTrack devices can access to the web platform for tracking and statistics at the
following address: http://btrack.sartoribikes.com

After performing the registration process you will receive an email with the data for the connection.
At this point you can make the login and access to the dashboard page.
In case of loss of the password you can retrieve it using the appropriate function.
Using the Actions menu of the Devices panel you can add / remove or edit a device.
During the first connection the Devices panel will be empty.
You can add the purchased device using the IMEI (present at the side of the package).
The Global Statistics panel displays information about the
selected device.
Through the Track Search panel will be possible to search by
date and time the track, view it on Google maps, download the
GPX file for further processing , display Track Statistics.

*NOTE: To view tracks must be enabled tracking function on the device
9BTRACK APP
The BTrack tracker is controlled remotely via SMS commands.
For all smartphones iOS and Android * * there is a free downloadable application from the app-store
that allows easy and intuitive to query the device.
*NOTE: For owners of other types of phones, see the chapter SMS COMMANDS
NOTE: The screens are relative to the Android version.
9.1 Locate
Allows you to display on Google map the location of the tracking
9.2 Statistics
Open the internet browser of your smartphone at http://btrack.sartoribikes.com com for research and
display of paths and statistics
9.3 Anthiteft
Enable or disable the anti-theft mode (activated if the lock image turns green)
9.4 Tracking
Enables or disables the tracking of routes (enabled if the satellite image turns green)
9.5 Settings
Allows the registration of the following data in the BTrack device:
a) APN
b) Master Phone number
c) BTrack Phone number
d) Password

e) Sensitivity

10 SMS COMMANDS
Below are specified sms commands to establish a communication between the device and any mobile
phone. To the owners of Android or IOS smartphones we recommend to downloading the dedicated
application (BTRACK APP).

10.2 TRACKING SERVICE REGISTRATION
This command must be done first (to allow the data transfer from device to the server)
SMS to send: *setip*95*170*88*81*5002*
SMS reply: Notice: IP is set to 95.170.88.81,5002
10.3 APN REGISTRATION
SMS to send: *apn*Axxx*Bxxx*Cxxx* (where Axxx is the name of APN, Bxxx the username and
Cxxx the password)
If there is no user name and password required, send as:
SMS to send: *apn*Axxx*
Contact your service provider to know the name of APN.
In response you will receive the following SMS :
SMS reply: Notice: APN is set to xxx. User name: xxx. Password: xxx
10.4 MASTER PHONE NUMBER REGISTRATION
The device will respond to instructions coming only from the phone number master .
SMS to send: *Master*123456*+11XXXXXXXXXXXX* (+11 refers to the country code
XXXXXXXXXXXX is the cell phone number).
Please make sure country code is included and digit 0 is not needed before cell phone number .
SMS reply: Notice: Cell Phone # xxxxxxxxxx is set to master controller, the password is xxxxxx.(where
xxxxxx is the default password of device).
10.5 PASSWORD CHANGE
SMS to send: *password*xxxxxx* (where xxxxxx refers to new password)
SMS reply: Notice: The password change is successful for +1XXXXXXXXXX. The new password is
654321.
10.6 TRACKING ON / OFF
The device allows tracking. To enable tracking use the command:
SMS to send: *routetrack*99*
SMS reply: Notice: Routetrack function is set to always on.
To disable tracking send the following command:
SMS to send: *routetrackoff*
SMS reply: Notice: System has ended routetrack function.
10.7 SENSITIVITY SETTINGS
The device is equipped with a sensitive Vibration detection system. The unit comes from the factory pre-
set to #1, on a scale of 1-5, with 1 being the most sensitive. If you notice you are getting excessive false

movement alerts, you can simply send the following SMS to the unit, and reset the variable:
SMS to send: *sensitive*1-5* (where X = 1-5, 1 being the most sensitive, 5 the least)
1 = 3 seconds continued vibrating 5 = 15 seconds continued vibrating
Default setting is 1 (per the explanation above)
SMS reply: Notice: Vibration sensitivity is set to 1-5
10.8 DEVICE LOCATION
You can track the location of the device using the following command
SMS to send: *locatemap*
SMS reply: You will receive back a text message with a google map link, click the link in order to view
the location through cellphone browser. It is suitable for smart phone user only.
* Note: Device will start positioning once it is powered on, location data will be saved and
retained in memory every minute automatically. If GPS positioning fails, the nearest GSM cell
tower data will be saved instead.
10.9 ANTHI-THEFT ON / OFF
The device with anti-theft mode activated call master controller 2 times when motion is
detected after 3 minutes of non-movement. To enable anti-theft use the command:
SMS to send: *callalert*
SMS reply: Notice: System has entered SMS alert function.
To disable anti-theft send the following command::
SMS to send: *alertoff*
SMS reply: Notice: System has ended alert function.
10.10 PRIMARY POWER DISCONNECTED ALERT
The device has a lithium backup battery that start working in case of lack of external power. At the same
time of the battery start working the following SMS message is sent to the master phone number::
SMS reply: Notice: Primary Power Disconnect
