1Safety Instructions
Mounting kits PR 6011/30 and PR 6011/40 must be used only for the weighing applications for which it
is intended. The dimensions of all mounting and structural components must be calculated so that
sufficient overload capacity is ensured for loads which may occur while taking the relevant standards
into account. In particular, upright weighing objects (vessel etc.) must be safeguarded against the
weighing installation turning over or being shifted, thus eliminating danger to humans, animals or goods
even in the case of a break in a load cell or mounting element.
If soft layers (e.g. from rubber or plastic) for vibration damping or for temperature insulation are
inserted between mounting kit and vessel and/or between mounting kit and supporting construction, a
load equalisation plate must be inserted between soft layer and mounting kit to ensure an even load
distribution on the mounting kit.
Installation and repair work must be carried out only by qualified personnel.
2Design Recommendations
2.1 Position of Load Cells and Constrainers
* do not constrain this position
In order to ensure the required space for movement of the weighing facility, max. 3 MiniFLEXLOCK kits
may be used for constraining an object. When using more than 3 load cells, the remaining load cells
must be installed with mounting kit PR 6011/10.

2.2 Lift-off Protection
For safety reasons, a lift-off protection has to be provided generally in all systems of tank and hopper
weighing. It can be realised separately or with the help of mounting kit MiniFLEXLOCK (see chapter 6).
The simplest design requires a threaded rod, three nuts, one serrated lock washer and one washer.

4Installation
4.1 Before the Mounting
The foundation for the mounting kit must be horizontal (use spirit level), flat and rigid for the loads to
be supported.
The load must be distributed as symmetrical as possible in order not to partially overload the load cells.
The foundations of the mounting kits must be aligned and the supporting surfaces of the weighing
object (vessel or platform) must mount in parallel.
4.2 Mounting
•Mount lower and upper mounting plate at foundation or object support with bolts. It is
indispensable to ensure that the plates are located in parallel and vertically upon each other.
•Link upper and lower mounting plate with the flexible copper strap packed with the load cell; two
bolts with spring washer are included in the mounting kit.
Caution!
Do not damage the membrane on the bottom of the load cell!
•Clean the load cell seating in the mounting plate from dirt and insert the load cell only when all
welding work near the load cell and mounting work at the object is finished.
•Ensure that the load button is positioned correctly in the recess of the upper mounting plate. Check
the distance between load cell and protective ring. The distance must be the same around the load
cell.
•To prevent vertical force shunts, all mechanical connections (pipes, cables and bellows) of the object
to be weighed to its surrounding construction must be as flexible as possible. The overall load must
be supported by the load cells.
5Check after Installation
After the installation of all mounting kits and load cells, the correct mounting must be checked. In
particular, force shunts must be avoided.
•Check, whether the constrainer is free of load, i.e. whether the constrainer it can be rotated around
its longitudinal axis.
If this is not the case, release the counter-nuts of the constrainer, and turn the hexagon, until the
constrainer is free of load. Subsequently, retighten the counter nuts and position the swivel bearing
eyes vertically.
After mounting also, check
•whether the load cell stands without tilt in the mounting kit,
•whether the upper mounting plate is positioned horizontally, and
•whether there are vertical space for movement and the required space for thermal expansion.
The space for movement required for displacement of the object to be weighed due to thermal
expansion, vibration, etc. can be used only if load cell and constraining unit are installed exactly.

6Lift-off Protection
A lift-off protection has to be provided generally. For this, a threaded rod (1), three nuts (2), one
serrated lock washer (4) and one washer (3) are required.

•Take care that the stud has sufficient space for movement in the bore hole.
•Counter nuts (2) so that there is a remaining distance (X) of 1…2 mm to the washer (3). Note that
1…2 mm space for lifting is indispensable to avoid force shunts.

1Sicherheitshinweise
Die Einbausätze PR 6011/30 und PR 6011/40 dürfen nur bestimmungsgemäß für Wägeaufgaben eingesetzt
werden. Sämtliche Einbau- und Konstruktionsteile sind so zu dimensionieren, dass sie unter Beachtung der
entsprechenden Normen eine genügend große Überlastfestigkeit für alle eventuell auftretenden Lasten
sicherstellen. Insbesondere sind stehende Wägeobjekte (Behälter o. ä.) so zu sichern, dass ein Umkippen oder
Verschieben der Wägeinstallation und damit eine Gefährdung von Personen, Tieren oder Gegenständen
selbst bei Bruch einer Wägezelle oder von Einbauteilen auszuschließen ist.
Wenn zwischen Einbausatz und Behälter und/oder zwischen Einbausatz und Unterkonstruktion weiche
Zwischenlagen (z. B. aus Gummi oder Kunststoff) zur Schwingungsdämpfung bzw. zur Temperaturisolation
eingesetzt werden, dann muss zwischen dieser weichen Zwischenlage und dem Einbausatz eine
Lastausgleichsplatte vorgesehen werden, die eine gleichmäßige Lasteinleitung in den Einbausatz sicherstellt.
Installations- und Reparaturarbeiten dürfen nur durch sachkundige/eingewiesene Fachkräfte erfolgen.
2Aufbauempfehlungen
2.1 Anordnung der Wägezellen und Fesselungen
* diesen Punkt nicht fesseln
Um die erforderliche Bewegungsfreiheit der Wägeeinrichtung zu gewährleisten, dürfen höchstens
3 MiniFLEXLOCK zur Fesselung eines Wägeobjekts eingesetzt werden. Bei Verwendung von mehr als
3 Wägezellen sind die weiteren mit dem Einbausatz PR 6011/10 zu installieren.

2.2 Abhebesicherung
Bei Behältern ist aus Sicherheitsgründen eine Abhebesicherung generell vorzusehen. Diese kann separat
verwirklicht werden oder mit dem Einbausatz MiniFLEXLOCK (siehe Kapitel 6). In der einfachsten Ausführung
sind dafür eine Gewindestange, drei Muttern, eine Fächerscheibe und eine Unterlegscheibe erforderlich.

4Installation
4.1 Vor der Montage
Das Fundament für den Einbausatz muss waagerecht (Wasserwaage benutzen), eben und unnachgiebig für
die vorgesehenen Lasten sein.
Die Belastung muss möglichst gleichmäßig verteilt werden, um die Wägezellen nicht partiell zu überlasten.
Die Fundamente der Einbausätze müssen sich auf gleicher Höhe befinden, und die Auflageflächen des
Wägeobjekts müssen parallel angeordnet sein.
4.2 Montage
•Untere und obere Montageplatte an Fundament bzw. Wägeobjektauflage festschrauben. Unbedingt
darauf achten, dass die Platten parallel und senkrecht übereinander sitzen.
•Obere und untere Montageplatte mit dem der Wägezelle beigepackten flexiblen Kupferkabel verbinden;
zwei Befestigungsschrauben mit Federring sind im Einbausatz enthalten.
Achtung!
Nicht die Membrane an der Unterseite der Wägezelle beschädigen!
•Erst wenn alle Schweißarbeiten in der Nähe der Wägezelle und die Montagearbeiten am Wägeobjekt
beendet sind, wird der Wägezellensitz in der Montageplatte von Schmutz gereinigt und die Wägezelle
eingesetzt.
•Druckstück muss richtig in der Ausfräsung der oberen Montageplatte sitzen. Der Abstand zwischen
Wägezelle und Schutzring muss rundherum gleich sein.
•Zur Vermeidung von Kraftnebenschlüssen sind alle Zu- und Ableitungen (Schläuche, Rohre, Kabel) so
flexibel wie möglich an das Messobjekt zu koppeln. Die gesamte Last muss von den Wägezellen getragen
werden.
5Überprüfung nach dem Einbau
Wenn alle Einbausätze installiert sind, ist der ordnungsgemäße Einbau zu überprüfen. Insbesondere müssen
Kraftnebenschlüsse vermieden werden.
•Prüfen, ob der Lenker lastfrei ist, d.h. sich um seine Längsachse drehen lässt.
Ist das nicht der Fall, die Kontermuttern des Lenkers lösen und das Sechskant verdrehen, bis der Lenker
lastfrei ist. Anschließend die Kontermuttern wieder anziehen und die Gelenkaugen senkrecht stellen.
Weiterhin ist nach der Montage zu überprüfen,
•ob die Wägezelle unverkantet im Einbausatz steht,
•ob die obere Montageplatte waagerecht sitzt und
•ob vertikale Bewegungsfreiheit und das erforderliche Spiel für thermische Dehnung gegeben sind.
Nur bei exakt eingebauter Wägezelle und Fesselungseinheit kann die Bewegungsfreiheit, die für
Verlagerungen des Messobjekts durch thermische Dehnung, Vibration o. ä. erforderlich ist, ohne
Einschränkung der Messgenauigkeit genutzt werden.

6Abhebesicherung
Eine Abhebesicherung ist aus Sicherheitsgründen generell vorzusehen. Dafür sind eine Gewindestange (1),
drei Muttern (2), eine Fächerscheibe (4) und eine Unterlegscheibe (3) erforderlich.

•Die Gewindestange muss ausreichend Bewegungsfreiheit in der Bohrung haben.
•Muttern (2) so kontern, dass 1…2 mm Abstand (X) zur Unterlegscheibe (3) verbleibt. Diese Hebefreiheit
von 1…2 mm ist unbedingt einzuhalten, um Kraftnebenschlüsse zu vermeiden.

1Consignes de sécurité
Les kit de montage PR 6011/30 et PR 6011/40 doivent être utilisés seulement pour les opérations de
pesage pour lesquelles il a été conçu. Dimensionner toutes les pièces de montage et de construction de
manière à garantir une résistance suffisante aux éventuelles surcharges tout en tenant compte des normes
correspondantes. Il faut tout particulièrement veiller à assurer les objets à peser verticaux (réservoirs, etc.)
de manière à empêcher que l’installation de pesage ne se renverse ou ne bouge et, par conséquent, à éviter
de mettre en danger des personnes ou des animaux, ou encore d’endommager des biens matériels, même en
cas de rupture d’un capteur de pesage ou de pièces de montage.
Si l’on insère des plaques souples (par. ex. en caoutchouc ou en plastique) entre le kit de montage et la cuve
et/ou entre le kit de montage et la construction portante afin de réduire les vibrations ou d’obtenir une
isolation contre la température, il faut également penser à intercaler une plaque de répartition de charge
entre la plaque souple et le kit de montage afin de répartir régulièrement la charge sur le kit de montage.
Seul un personnel qualifié est autorisé à effectuer les opérations d’installation et les réparations.
2Recommandations d’installation
2.1 Disposition des capteurs dans différents cas
* Ne pas contraindre ce point.
Afin de garantir la plage requise pour le mouvement du dispositif de pesage, max. 3 kits MiniFLEXLOCK
peuvent être utilisés pour la contrainte d'un objet à peser. Lorsqu'on utilise un nombre plus élevé de
3 capteurs de pesage, les autres capteurs doivent être installés avec le kit de montage PR 6011/10.
