Fitting SC110 and SC113
Note: Steps 1 and 2 for SC110 only.
1. SC110 is pre-drilled to fit Perko 200, Aqua Signal 25 & 45 series and Hella Marine
2984 Series lights.
2. Fit light to top mount plate as per mounting instructions for your light. The cable
should be routed down through the SC110 and out through the slot on the underside
of the tube.
3. The SC110 and SC113 fit to the underside of the PowerTower at the port side.
4. Remove the two fixing bolts that hold your radar in place and use them to loosely
secure the SC110/SC113 to the underside of the PowerTower. We advise placing
some Stainless Steel washers under the heads of the fixing bolts to spread load over
a greater area.
5. With the fixing bolts loosely secured, slide the SC110/SC113 fore/aft to your
preferred position. Tighten the fixing bolts securely.
6. The cable can now be routed through the rubber grommet in the rear of the
PowerTower.
Fitting SC111 and SC112
The SC111 and SC112 are designed for the installation of GPS antenna and ‘Whip’ type VHF,
HF/SSB, AM/FM, and cellular antenna of up to 1m in height, that have the standard 1” x 14TPI
thread as their fixing. SC111 and SC112 are designed to work with Pacific Aerials P6161/P6162
adapter for their Pro range of antennas.
1. Thread the cable of your antenna down through the threaded boss at the top of the
SC111/SC112 and out of the slot on the underside of the tube.
2. Attach your antenna to the threaded boss at the top of the tube.
3. The SC111 and SC112 fit to the underside of the PowerTower. SC111 on the
starboard side, the SC112 to the port side.
4. Remove the two fixing bolts that hold your radar in place and use them to loosely
secure the SC111/SC112 to the underside of the PowerTower. We advise placing
some Stainless Steel washers under the heads of the fixing bolts to spread load over
a greater area.
5. With the fixing bolts loosely secured, slide the SC111/SC112 fore/aft to your
preferred position. Tighten the fixing bolts securely.
6. The cable can now be routed through the rubber grommet in the rear of the
PowerTower.

Installation Procedure – Clamp and Ferrule Set-up
1. To ensure safe operation of the SC120 system, rivet the 3” clamps provided to the
modular pole as follows.
2. Assemble 3” Clamps around the Modular Pole and fit a Ferrule Plate to each
Clamp set by positioning it between the 3”Clamp flats. Using M6 Bolts, Nylock M6
Nuts and Nylon Washers from Fixing Pack, loosely tighten the clamp assembly into
positions similar to that shown in Fig. 1 above.
3. The modular pole has four vertical grooves running along its length. Each 3”
clamp assembly has a pair of holes either side of the Ferrule plate. Align these holes
with a pair of vertical grooves to position as desired. Aligning the 3” Clamps and
Ferrules in this way ensures the Crane will hang rotate correctly.*
4. Set the top edge of the Upper Ferrule and Clamp Assembly at the desired height.
Tighten into place.
5. Set the top edge of the Lower Ferrule and Clamp Assembly at exactly 400mm
from the top edge of the Upper Ferrule and Clamp Assembly. Tighten into place
ensuring the clamp is still aligned on the vertical grooves. See Fig 3.
6. Mark a drill centre through each of the 4 holes in each 3”Clamp.
7. Remove each 3”Clamp and Ferrule assembly and using the 5mm [3/16”] drill, drill
through the pole at each mark made in 5.
8. Fix each 3” Clamp to the pole as previously set up, ensuring alignment of the
holes created in 6. and fully tighten.
9. Using the rivets provided fix the clamps permanently to the pole.
* If retro fitting the SC120 to a modular pole system older than spring 2005
version, you will not have the vertical grooves on your pole. Fit the clamps in the
same way, 400mm apart as described in 4. Take care to align the Ferrules directly
above one another accurately.
Crane Set-up
1. To fit the Crane to the Pole simply insert the pins on the Crane into the Ferrules.
The crane should swing freely.
2. To secure the Crane in place, insert the R-Clip through the hole in the bottom of
the pin showing through under the lower Ferrule. Release this pin to remove the
Crane for stowage.

Mast Mount Adapter Kits –50100
Installation Instructions
Contents
4 x adapter rings
8 x M6 x 35mm SS bolts
8 x M6 nyloc SS nuts
8 x M6 washers
16 x nut covers
This adapter kit is designed to mount Scanstrut radar mounts where a standard
installation is not possible. This will include installation onto Isomat and Z-Spar
masts which have an integral spinnaker pole track at the front of the section, or any
other situation where a wider mounting foot position is required.
NB. These guidance notes are supplementary to the installation instructions included
with your Scanstrut mast mount. Please read both carefully before installation.
Mast Platforms: M92722, M92698; SC61; SC71.
1. Mount one adapter ring above and one below the top
mast platform mounting lugs. This utilises the two
inner holes on the adapter ring and effectively
sandwiches the mast platform mounting lugs between
the two adapter rings. Ensure washers are used
under the head of the bolts and under the nyloc nut
to prevent damage to the painted surface.
2. Repeat step 1 for the bottom mast platform mounting lugs.
3. Using the outer holes of the adapter ring, mount the Scanstrut mounting feet
(supplied with the mast platform). Only hand tighten the fastenings to allow
the feet to move when positioning the radar mount onto the mast.
4. From this stage, follow the standard mounting instructions provided with your
Scanstrut mast mount.
5. Complete the installation by tightening the fastenings and adding the nut
covers to all bolt heads and nuts.
Mast Platforms: SC12; SC14; SC18.
1. Mount two adapter rings, sandwiched together, above
the top mounting lugs and below the bottom lugs on
the mast platform.
2. Repeat steps 2 – 5 as above.

Installation Procedure
1. Place the SC50 wedge assembly in the required position with the wedge base
seal downwards on the deck/arch.
2. Counter rotate the two halves of the Satcom Wedge assembly until a
horizontal plane is created.
3. Place the Satcom adapter onto the horizontal plane created on top of the
SC50 wedges. Correctly align the Satcom adapter fore and aft with respect to
the desired orientation of your Satcom Antenna.
4. Mark through the adapter and SC50 Wedges to the deck with the position of
the 4 mounting holes in the Satcom adapter base.
5. Drill clearance holes for 8mm bolts vertically through the deck/arch so that
the bolt heads will be aligned with the inner surface of the Satcom Adapter.
6. Secure the assembly to the deck using 8mm bolts, the 6° Washer pairings
and lock nuts. When tightening the nuts, the 6° Washers should counter
rotate in a similar way to the SC50 wedges to create a plane perpendicular to
the bolts for the nuts to tighten up against.
7. With the SC50 and Satcom adapter assembly complete, install the antenna as
described in the Satcom Adapter mounting instructions.
